Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
BeastMaster replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember just a few years ago I was seeing Pats gear...you know, when they were winning I imagine I'll start seeing it again soon -
Cause their offense was busy scoring points mostly They are obviously well coached and Spags gets as much out of them as he can, but they aren't world beaters. Their record despite their high powered passing offense is proof that they are not what they once were on that side of the ball

Hollins is absolutely better than Palmer There is zero evidence of Josh Palmer being anything but a JAG Hollins hasn't done a whole lot either, but he's done more than Palmer and showed up in big moments Palmer got shelved on the Chargers and got injured here after a bunch of games where he was mostly a non factor -
The Chiefs aren't a powerhouse...especially on defense KC is a very flawed team that has a weak Oline, mediocre running backs, and a mediocre defense. The difference is Reid and Spagnola are elite at what they do
-
Our guys have some limitations, for sure That being said...there is definitely teams that have schemed lesser players open, and that's without a top Oline, RB, and QB I'm gonna go 75% Brady, 25% player limitations

Imagine what Josh could be if he had the things that other QB's do From owner, the GM, to coaches, to wideouts, to defense...he's been dealt a ***** hand and it is borderline criminal how they are going to blow his prime and possibly ruin him by making him not even enjoy the game he loves due to having to carry the burden of the Buffalo Bills on his back for years with inadequate support from the franchise -
This is kind of a hot take on my part, but not really KC is not a great team, and they are currently out of the playoffs Bills won a game against a team that was decimated on the offensive line and has a mediocre defense I think the entire team bought their own hype after beating KC, who they viewed as a top dog...which falls squarely on the coach to keep them grounded and focused

Problem was Cooper was the wrong guy we got Davante Adams is leading the league for receiving TD's and we could've traded for him instead of a washed Cooper Another Beane failure -
My theory on that is McDermott doesn't want a coordinator that might threaten him, so he surrounds himself with unproven guys and yes men. It was rumored that Sean and Daboll did not get along, and it's no secret that Daboll was a fiery personality I'd love to see McDermott work with a top notch coordinator on both sides of the ball, but I just don't see it happening
-
I agree Problem is the coach isn't good enough either, but he will get the reprieve when he should go, too
-
You're not wrong, but your last line irks me a bit I think people want the real issue to be fully exposed instead of a Gabe Davis bandaid where we could possible see McDermott and Beane claim to be ok if Josh somehow manages to polish this turd of a passing game Posters don't have to claim anything because they've already been proven right Beane has failed to replace Diggs with a legitimate receiving threat and it has hurt the offense despite the numbers they have managed without him
-
Unfortunately, you are probably right McDermott will do what does best and sacrifice his coordinator to appease ownership to save himself Brady and Babich are on borrowed time
-
This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators

Yes men are who they are for a reason He's not good enough to voice his own concerns and opinions -
We have failed to get our QB a legitimate weapon at wideout since they sent Diggs packing and BTW, he's looking good and laughing at the Bills with a Pats team that looks to have a much brighter future than Josh and the Bills The wr problem gets ignored every year and what did they do last season when Davante Adams was available? They got a washed Amari Cooper and now Adams currently leads wideouts in TD's. Same story this season except they didn't even make a move to get Josh a guy. And then Beane has the nerve to get snippy when the media asks him about a glaring weakness that continues to be exposed when it matters the most
-
These takes make me laugh At the end of the day, the ones that have been critical of this coaching staff and GM end up being proven right when the flaws we speak on end up being why this team ultimately fails...and they do so year after year like clockwork But, sure...you're a better fan cause you accept the product you are given with no questions asked

Meanwhile Diggs is catching go ahead TD's for the first place Pats Beane is an embarrassment -
The Bills were high bidders for Waddle, tried acquiring Williams
BeastMaster replied to babulator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kind of odd if true...which I will assume since we have some legit sources reporting it Beane has been steadfast that the Bills did not need WR help, and there were other players available that would have been a similar upgrade as Waddle would have been. Olave is a superior player than Waddle, so why wasn't the same offer the Fins rejected given to the Saints? I would've probably pulled the trigger for Waddle if the Fins would have done it, but I have a feeling he would not live up to being a number one on this team -
I think BTJ is more available than is being let on Teams that don't have a first round pick love to try and recoup if possible, and they have Hunter and now Meyers Bills should be aggressive on both Olave and BTJ

BeastMaster replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fair, but we haven't thrived off of being the one seed and getting to coast/rest players and having one semi difficult home game to make it to the AFCCG like KC has This season is not going to play out the same way it has for the Chiefs previously Whether that means good things for us or not is to be determined -

Chiefs have had the massive advantage of a weak division and a first round bye for how many seasons previously? They are in major trouble and will not be anywhere near as healthy or rested when and if they make the playoffs It matters alot -

I don't know if I'd go that far. He made multiple mistakes that could've cost us the game
