  1. I don't think we have seen enough to know if he is good or bad, or weak or strong armed. We do know that he does some stupid stuff, like intentional grounding. We do have glimpses that the guy is a leader, has confidence, can throw guys open, and isn't afraid to throw it in a tight window. I like him, but the jury is still out. Go Bills!!! Cmon reddog!!??!
  2. Coach does get credit for getting White; however, I think he misplayed his hand with passing on a QB. I think he felt that he had a 4 win team which would set him up with 2 firsts to get one of the QB rock stars in the 2018 draft, which everyone was saying had more QB potential than 2017. Also, he thought a 4 win team would give him a chance to see what NP could do. If he knew he was going to have a playoff team before the 2017 draft, he would've nabbed a QB in 1st, with him starting by the KC game. More importantly, we would have Mahomes or Prescott, locked and loaded for 2018, and we could use our 2018 first on a DE. We still may get our guy in 2018, but winning this year may result in 2 steps back in 2018 because we aren't able to get a QB or the rookie QB may need a year to learn or may be a complete bust. In waiting, the coach took a big chance, but he believed the risk wasn't big because he would be picking low with a 4 win team. Coach said that he was surprised that the team could win this much. Winning will result in reducing a shot at the QB he had in mind. This is the reality that confronts him now. Maybe things will work out, and we'll have our guy in 2018, but the costs will be much higher: not just our 2 firsts but a 2019 first too. Very expensive and risky. Go Bills!!!
  3. When we got Biscuit. We have the opportunity to get the franchise QB. Let's make a big offer to Indy.
  4. I agree that he has a lot of upside. C'mon, he hasn't been given a good look this year. Maybe he is terrible like EJ, JP, Rob, and Trent; but those guys played in a lot of games and their flaws were became obvious. We don't know what we have with him yet. I'm sure he'll be here next year, and he could even be the starter at some point.
  5. Focus on draft trade with NYG or Indy. Give'em #21, any 2 players that aren't secondary, and 2019 2nd. Let's get our guy and make get back to playoffs.
  6. I'm proud of our team. Great season. But we knew it would end like this. Not enough team and QB talent. Probably 20 NFL QBs, and a handful of backups, would have won that game for us today. Better days are ahead.
  7. I'd like Bridgewater or Bradford for the time being. Need to get the 2nd or 3rd pick for some new and shiny QB. Offer the Giants or Colts one of our 1s, Shady, any other 2 players they want, and a 2019 2nd. Let's get this done.
  8. They did get TT on the move, roll outs, boot legs, etc, but the receivers were stepping out of bounds, dropping balls, not coming back, etc. TT made some good passes, but he was overthrowing, throwing behind, etc. He was the same as the past 3 years. Other than not running from the 1, the game plan was a winning one. All we needed was 11 points to win.
  9. How bout swap TT for Dalton, and keep our drafts picks = division contender ...
  10. Sammy is a good guy. Like many athletes, he came out of a collegiate program where he was pampered, the big man on campus, brought Clemson back to glory. Came into a Bills program that was off-balance in the locker room, and no one mentored him. I think if he ends up with Brady, he will be elite. Tom Terrific will get in this face, which never happened at 1 Bills Dr. Go Bills!!!
  11. Against common opponents, it's about a draw. We both played Jets, Colts, LAC, and Cincy. Jets hung 471 on Jax, which is a bunch more than Jets got on us in either game. LAC hung 322 on them and 429 on us. Colts and Cincy games were similar. Soooo, we're either both pretty good Ds, or both not so good. I agree with reddog that the only #s that matter is the score at about 4:30 on Sunday. Go Bills!!!
  12. Cousins with those guys, and high drafts for DL, and we would be a team to be reckoned with. Pats would be loosing sleep. Go Bills!!!
  13. Good stuff PG. This supports my point that TT better get movin, which was probably what Wilson did to get the W. TT got sacked b/c they wanted him to be a pocket passer. When you've got a Maseratti, don't just drive it on the driveway. Go Bills!!!
  14. Hand off to Shady who runs right, throws back to Benjamin on the left who scampers for 75, or he throws back to Shady who scampers for 75, or it might be to TT, whoever is open. It will be known as the Jax Jags Zig Zag jump start play that sets the stage for Bills taking the Lombardi trophy back to a parade at City Hall. Go Bills!!!
  15. Coaches need to look at Seahawk game too. Wilson hung a big # on them. TT needs to call him too. You can't sack what you can't catch. Go Bills!!!
  16. Good stuff. I can't find how many they had in those 2 games. Also, we don't have the fastest gun in the west either!!??! I hope the smart sports guys aren't right. Go Bills!!!
  17. All the smart sports guys on NFL channel and other places say we get rolled over bad. They say we have the worst QB and our running game will be stuffed. Jags allowed 7 teams get 300 total yards, but, guess what, they lost 4 of 7. The smart sports guys say we must get 300+ to have a chance. But guess what? Rams and Titans beat them with less than 300. With 142 and 116 rushing, and just over 100 passing. Hmmm?? Those passing #s look like our guy. Hope the coaches have watched those 2 games. Go Bills!!!
  18. Hey MAJ, sounds gloomy and doomy. How do we win??
  19. I don't see Shady or anyone being able to run against their D line. TT can't throw against that secondary. He needs to roll out and dink and dunk. Pull their secondary in, then go over the top to KB. Hope the coaches put in misdirection to counter their aggressiveness. TT's speed should be used early and often. We need 3 turnovers. Might as well ask that the snow storm moves south. We're pretty good in the snow. Jags will give Pats a good game down the road, I'm afraid. Go Bills!!!
  20. Since my life's work has been schooling and teaching, my hat's off to Mr. Maybin. We need good teachers and good schools start with community support. Communities get the schools they are willing to support. We loose many great teachers, especially minority ones, because salaries are better elsewhere. Our city schools generally need more funding to keep the heat on, and to keep good teachers. The per pupil spending is higher because the class sizes have got to be smaller for disadvantaged communities. You can put 30+ middle-class kids in as class, but schools where the poverty is high, the classes better be much smaller. Most people don't understand the challenges that city kids bring. They are beautiful kids, and the teachers who commit to them deserve our thanks. Thanks Mr. Maybin!!
  21. I like the idea of some new short passing plays that we haven't shown on film with TT rolling out. Forget about Shady running b/c they'll shut that down in a skinny minute.
  22. This posting might be more relevant if we get to play the Pats. We will need to pull out all the stops. I would just hate to see us get this far, and then be left with a lot of "would'ves" and "could'ves".
  23. Other than Kyle at halfback, I can't think of any creative plays that were rolled out this year. Did Shady throw a pass in a game?? Seem to remember that he did. I've seen Brady do some in playoffs. To have a chance, I think we need something other than same ol same ol. What would be counter to teams trying to make TT be a QB??
