  1. Hey Niagara Dude: Are we sure that there is a franchise QB in this draft? Risk and reward must be reasonable. I would give up our first 6 picks and next years first 3 for Aaron Rodgers because he's the real deal. A lot of folks are gaga over this year's draft, but we would be bringing a rookie on to a team that is looking at 4-12 if we trade all of our draft capital I would say target Oakland's pick to see if someone is still there, if not, use our 2nds for one of the second tier dudes. I don't see this GM doing something with high risks.
  2. Now that Nate has moved up to #1, we don't need to be desperate in the draft. We're playing with house money.
  3. In the game of life, this dude is a champion!! That's where you want to win.
  4. Simool is a tool and is in the running for funniest TBD poster.
  5. IF the Browns or Giants say Shady have to be part of a deal, then Ivory becomes #1. Maybe this gives GM this option, if it presents itself.
  6. Hear me know and believe me later, we get the Browns #4 for 21, 22, Glenn and Shady. Gotta give up something to get something.
  7. That's my point. He is one of the most valuable RBs in the NFL. I was just throwing out would it be worth it to package him to get into the top 4. A franchise QB might be with us 12 years, and Shady is gone in 2
  8. Some combination of Shady to get one of Cleveland's picks ... maybe #21, Shady, and our 2nds. To get our QB, all options must be on the table. Am I serious or delirious?
  9. I really like the 7-10 range, but chips gotta fall just right. Barkley and Chubb taken in top 4, Browns take Darden, Denver or Jets get Cousins ... then Mayfield, Rosen, and/or Jackson will slide. I say target SF at 9, and give'em #21, Glenn, and 2018 or 19 2nd. A similar deal would work with Raiders at 10. We should keep a 1st rounder. I think Rudolph and Allen could be had at 21/22. Again, chips gotta fall just right. Don't trade up for Allen because he's 3 years away. If we don't get QB in 1st, draft a couple of the 2nd tier guys (White, Fergy, Lauletta) later.
  10. Thurman1, you are the man. I agree 1000%. I'm the guy who wanted to stay with NP, even if it meant losing every game thereafter. I think the coach wanted to as well, but gave in to the vets. Go Bills!!
  11. Maybe so, but my main point is that TT, NP, and a 2r QB are what we'll probably end up with, and I would contend provides a better chance of making the playoffs than most other options suggested on TBD, including using all of our draft capital for one of the golden boy rookies. Cousins would almost guarantee a playoff run, but we won't get him.
  12. Yes, TT has been the poster child for mediocre, but this past year should be no measure of what he is capable of. It was a patchwork scheme on offense. TT gets way too much of the blame. It was KB who should be blamed for Jax lost. An argument can be made that additions from draft and a healthy KB would retool for another run with TT taking snaps. I can't say same thing with a rookie or any free agents, except Cousins. I would like to see what NT can do, but he would have to beat out TT. So, let's keep TT, NT and go get a 2nd round QB.
  13. So with this formula, trading the farm for a top QB is risky business and mostly luck. Think of the 83 draft and how many QBs were taken before Marino. He was taken at 27. Maybe we get lucky at 21 or 22. Does anyone think that any of these guys are sure things??
  14. I agree that Philly is not interested in McCoy, but I do agree with the reasoning that he should be part of a trade to get a QB in the draft. McCoy will not be around in 2-3 anyway when we have a team ready to win big.
  15. Bills gotta keep Bill and Brady from making it to 4 straight. We must sign Cousins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. When we get a QB that can out score Brady, and other NFL QBs.
  17. Wolverine reunion, and is that a finger?
  18. Moved up to Buffalo from GA in mid-80s and lived in wife's parents' home while attending UB. My 2 sons went to first NFL game in '86. Been a family tradition since. Probably Larry Felser, and Smerlas and Haslett on Monday night radio got me emotionally attached. Loved those guys. Me and my boys suffered through 4 SB loses in GA later, so we have to stick it out now. We look forward to our trip to Bflo every fall.
  19. Has anyone considered that McCoy might be a Colt or Giant next year. Think about it.
  20. This dude speaketh the truth. Sports radio around Atlanta is sub par. Here in the DC area, I don't think any are better than S&B. Riggo is the best here but he only has an occasional spot. I do agree that S&B should plan more topics where they are at each other. I connect with their silly humor.
  21. Yea I agree 100%; however, I can see why my fellow fans went gaga over making the playoffs. I got me some of that gaga too. But the morning after, we were still in QB purgatory!!?? I would have preferred to have seen what we have in NP. Maybe we would have still made the playoffs, and now would be having a different conversation about QB. BTW, I do think NP would have gotten more than 3 points against Jax.
  22. I watched TB at the SB Monday media night. He has sense of humor and seems quite level-headed. He can't help if if he just happens to be the greatest of all time, and happens to be in the Bills division. I must re-evaluate my opinion of him. Please stop. My side is splitting.
  23. Many good points in an attempt at revision of TT as an NFL QB. I would like to see the data on throwing accuracy over the 3 years. My eyes tell me that he missed more open receivers than most. I'm sure the receivers would agree. The good QBs find and hit open receivers.
