My biggest frustration with the offense
Ga boy replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My biggest frustration is that we don't have the same playbook as Green Bay. Our guy has a bigger bazooka than Rogers, moves better, but he is hampered by our playbook. Do the Packers have better skilled players than we do? Don't think so. Everybody's going to say that Rogers is better than our guy, but maybe it's the playbook. -
The D isn't built to handle what hit them today
Ga boy replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this post is about the D and stopping the run; however, our problems here emphasize the need for our offense to score early and often, and then middle and often, and then late and often. -
First Time I have been concerned with Josh Allen
Ga boy replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think that a QB in the NFL today can be a game manager for 3 quarters. That loses more than it wins. But we'll make the playoffs if he stays were he is. However, he has to get better if we hope to make any noise in January. Go Bills!! -
First Time I have been concerned with Josh Allen
Ga boy replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our measuring stick is Jim Kelly which isn't fair to Josh at this point; however, we do remember that Jim won many games outright. Josh isn't really doing that yet. The good news is that we could be 9-1 if he doesn't digress. There are a dozen QBs I'd rather have, but, if he doesn't digress, we will make the playoffs. Go Bills! -
Would you be satisfied with Stafford's career for Josh?
Ga boy replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If our guy can play QB like Stafford, we have a chance to win a Super Bowl. Heck, Stafford can still win a Super Bowl, however, it depends. Ask Marino. -

Zay Jones traded to Raiders for 5th rounder
Ga boy replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My take is that Zay will have better soil to grow into a solid #2 in Oakland. Here the offense was a revolving door at most every position, and he received poor coaching, and the offensive strategy was random. While defenses didn't necessarily game plan to shut him down, he was considered as our #1. He got most of the attention. He was never able to pick up any momentum here. Here, the OL, QB, and even RBs have been in transition. Carr is a better QB right now than our guy. I think he is, and will be, a better player than he was here. Good luck Zay. Go Bills!! -
Hey TBD colleagues: I don't often post, so I found this amusing. I see why yall do it especially those who are good at it. Since it has been easy to be annoyed by the evil empire, I had this opportunity to be on the "inside". Nice folks but not my folks. I know I'm still a true Bills fan even though my opinion of them is altered. The table is about to turn, and I'll definitely return to my table there when it does. Go Bills!!

So last Sunday, I go to DC with my wife for an cultural fest. Hang out with her til 12:45. Go to nearest sports bar which turns out to be adopted by Pats fans. Outnumbered 200-1 (later when we score TD, I find 2 of my kind). People were nice enough. No buffalo wings there, just something called buffalo chicken flat bread. Tasty, had to eat with fork. I must admit I was a little annoyed with the adulation of Brady-Belichek. Dynamic duo shirts. Yuck. GOAT shirts. Yuck. I was thinking of leaving if Pats go up 20-3. I'm glad I stayed. That crowd became real nervous in 2nd half. They were dumb struck. I savored it. But my take-away was that they were fans just like me. Pretty good folks. A week later, I'm wondering if I'm a true Bills fan?? Go Bills!!

Allen clears protocol and expected to play Vs Titans

Here's proof. -
I don't remember that kind of gesture with Peterman. These days at QB you have to have smarts and a rocket launcher. Pman didn't seem to have both. Hope JA does.

Nice script for a feel good movie …

Josh Allen Failed His First Big Test
Ga boy replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Tom Terrific is the GOAT at throwing balls in the dirt. When will Josh pick up this skill?? -
Can you show us blue and red buffalo on a Bills' blue helmet? We've tried red and while helmets, but not Bills' blue with a mean red and white center stripe and white face guard.

I officially believe that the Bills will win this weekend!
Ga boy replied to Jobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Earlier in the week I was thinking we had 60% chance, but now down to 40% after realizing that if NE was playing the teams we beat they would be 3 TD favorites, and yes, they were squeakers for us!! However, 40% is higher than in years past. We will win with 100 yds rushing, and 100 yds dink and dunk to Cole and TJ, and 2 Brady INTs. Go Bills. -
I would like to see his next presser after we give them a good drubbing this Sunday. Yea, that would be sweet. I wonder if he'd be so complimentary?
-
Yes, Bill will make us one dimensional. I think he'll load the box to stop run, and Josh will have to find single coverage or throw it away. Need plenty of dink and dunk. We need let them get 150 yards rushing, but pick Brady like a vulture on roadkill.

Next week: Bills 56, Patriots 3!
Ga boy replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unlike our first SB, Bill will try to take away our run game. Josh needs to channel Montana with short quick crossing passes. Beasley, are you ready? -
The Growth Mindset Culture of Coach McDermott
Ga boy replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a career educator, I am a big believer in the growth mindset because I want my students to believe that they can become smarter by working harder. I know this is true. The fixed mindset says I'm inherently smart and I don't have to work as hard. In public schools, we have the opportunity to save some kids and help them overcome the odds over an extended timeline. In NFL, however, you might have a growth mindset about getting better, but if your talent is limited, or those around you are overmatched against better competition, then you are not going to have the chance to get better. I'm not sure that the Super Bowl Bills had a growth mindset. Probably, a fixed mindset thinking they were just better than everyone else, and they didn't work as hard. Regardless of mindset, our Bills teams in the 21st century would have won some Super Bowls with Brady, Elway, Big Ben, Favre, Rodgers, Ryan, Stafford, Luck, etc. Having said all of this, I do like the combo of mindset and talent under the present leadership. Go Bills!! -
