  1. Bama: I say keep our picks, and get a QB in 2nd, and let's roll with AJ to the playoffs!!!!!!!!!
  2. Champions have depth. If we don't get a franchise QB, our boat load of picks will fill holes and make us stronger across the board. I like our chances of making the playoffs with AJ and these picks. I'm not so sure if we give up the picks and start a rookie QB.
  3. I pullin for him. Maybe Peterman can!!
  4. Hey Baseball Head: Your posts 90% of the time make me laugh out loud, and your comments made this a much better thread. BTW, can you wax on about what if JFK dodged the bullets? Just trying to give you some material. Oh, never mind, I think Garth already did that one.
  5. Yes, Rogers or Luck or Stafford would be worth 3 ones, but NOT any of these neophytes. I think we can get back to playoffs by reloading with our picks, even if we have to go with either of the two QBs we have today, and we'll score more than 3 points.
  6. Here's a reality check: forgetabout trading up. Not gonna happen. If GM didn't want to outbid Jets for #3, why would he go all in for #1 or #2. I think he got to #12 so that he can leap frog Miami with Oakland to get whoever is left.
  7. Big mistake to let him walk. We should've traded his rights for #2 pick.
  8. Big Circle: Hope you make it to a home game. You've gotta do it. It makes you enjoy the tv game even more. Thanks too for protecting freedom. Go Bills!!!
  9. Hey New Guy: I never questioned your credibility because I got that you were just spouting off like every other TBD poster. No worries. BTW - I hope you're right!!
  10. The right guy with the right stuff is priceless; but, the price is too high for a maybe great. I would trade our 2 firsts, and a 2nd, to move up to get a maybe, but nothing more. We got more holes than swiss cheese.
  11. We have many bridges to cross in the next 7 weeks. If we get Bridgewater or another vet, my crystal ball says we stay put and pick up a rookie in 1st and/or 2nd. Don't look desperate. Let it come to you, and look like the smartest guy in the room.
  12. SO it better be Lamar who has the wheels to run for his life.
  13. Hey Niagara Dude: Are we sure that there is a franchise QB in this draft? Risk and reward must be reasonable. I would give up our first 6 picks and next years first 3 for Aaron Rodgers because he's the real deal. A lot of folks are gaga over this year's draft, but we would be bringing a rookie on to a team that is looking at 4-12 if we trade all of our draft capital I would say target Oakland's pick to see if someone is still there, if not, use our 2nds for one of the second tier dudes. I don't see this GM doing something with high risks.
  14. Now that Nate has moved up to #1, we don't need to be desperate in the draft. We're playing with house money.
  15. In the game of life, this dude is a champion!! That's where you want to win.
  16. Simool is a tool and is in the running for funniest TBD poster.
  17. IF the Browns or Giants say Shady have to be part of a deal, then Ivory becomes #1. Maybe this gives GM this option, if it presents itself.
  18. Hear me know and believe me later, we get the Browns #4 for 21, 22, Glenn and Shady. Gotta give up something to get something.
  19. That's my point. He is one of the most valuable RBs in the NFL. I was just throwing out would it be worth it to package him to get into the top 4. A franchise QB might be with us 12 years, and Shady is gone in 2
  20. Some combination of Shady to get one of Cleveland's picks ... maybe #21, Shady, and our 2nds. To get our QB, all options must be on the table. Am I serious or delirious?
  21. I really like the 7-10 range, but chips gotta fall just right. Barkley and Chubb taken in top 4, Browns take Darden, Denver or Jets get Cousins ... then Mayfield, Rosen, and/or Jackson will slide. I say target SF at 9, and give'em #21, Glenn, and 2018 or 19 2nd. A similar deal would work with Raiders at 10. We should keep a 1st rounder. I think Rudolph and Allen could be had at 21/22. Again, chips gotta fall just right. Don't trade up for Allen because he's 3 years away. If we don't get QB in 1st, draft a couple of the 2nd tier guys (White, Fergy, Lauletta) later.
  22. Thurman1, you are the man. I agree 1000%. I'm the guy who wanted to stay with NP, even if it meant losing every game thereafter. I think the coach wanted to as well, but gave in to the vets. Go Bills!!
  23. Isn't that a covey of birds with 2 stones??
  24. Maybe so, but my main point is that TT, NP, and a 2r QB are what we'll probably end up with, and I would contend provides a better chance of making the playoffs than most other options suggested on TBD, including using all of our draft capital for one of the golden boy rookies. Cousins would almost guarantee a playoff run, but we won't get him.
  25. Yes, TT has been the poster child for mediocre, but this past year should be no measure of what he is capable of. It was a patchwork scheme on offense. TT gets way too much of the blame. It was KB who should be blamed for Jax lost. An argument can be made that additions from draft and a healthy KB would retool for another run with TT taking snaps. I can't say same thing with a rookie or any free agents, except Cousins. I would like to see what NT can do, but he would have to beat out TT. So, let's keep TT, NT and go get a 2nd round QB.
