I'm hoping that Coughlin immediately terminates Marrone's employment. Tomorrow, a bolt from the heavens strikes and gets him a permanent and binding lifetime job as Assistant to the Senior Vice President and Director of Football Operations of the XFL. May the 2 egomaniacs be bound together, forever and ever.

I think only 2 things could stop him: - injuries (especially concussions) - a bad fit, overly anal, cya Head Coach.

I know. Pears didn't get a lot of push, but DE's had a tough time getting around him. When Marrone tried playing Mad Chemist and shoved him inside, we lost a decent RT and got one more below average Right Guard.

WR Technique Q - Overthrow to Foster
hemma replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
10 to 12 mph trailing wind combined with 84 temp. Science. Embrace it. -
I wonder when the last time was that we had a RT that received even one vote for the Pro Bowl. I bet it goes back a ways.

Tough kid, playing with that all year.

Has the light finally gone on for Zay Jones?

Turns out that having an intact labrum is a good thing. -
I can't believe Beane misplaced an entire locker room. Where do they put their stuff? Do they even get to shower?

Watching Sirles brought back memories of Colin Brown. I saw in snapcounts (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BoetIk00/fantasy/2018) that Boetteger was in there for 8 snaps, though I could only spot 2 of them and he held up ok. Anyway, Sirles breakdowns led to a bunch of Allen runs/first downs. I'm hoping that's not a Castillo strategy.

Dispelling the notion that Allen needs to "stop running so much"
hemma replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as Sirles is playing RG, better get used to Allen running. He only got overpowered a couple or three times, but blitzes & stunts are definitely not his strength. Even the Jets watch film and they will mess him up, I'm sure. -
Whether in or out of the pocket, Allen seems to take a lot of head shots and sometimes, after he is down. When you see enough of it, it stops looking like accidental contact. Kolb was down when he got kicked in the back of the head on a scramble which ended his career and has put him in a long-term bad spot. They need to call these head shots. Every, single one.

Charles Clay- the most useless player ever
hemma replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the game has beaten him down physically so that he couldn't perform and after today, he may start thinking like Vontae. He might be done. -
Charles Clay- the most useless player ever
hemma replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of the reasons I watch the NFL is to see amazing athletes do things I know I could never have done on the very best day of my life. When I saw Clay clumsily lurch forward and then drop that ball, my immediate thought was, "Jeesh …. I could do that." I think that's when players lose support. When they at least appear to be, just like us. -
Tre White is the Best Player On the Bills Now

8 yards in 3 games? That is way, way past extremely good. -
Nice game but Allen needs to pass
hemma replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hard to say. If he was doing this a few years ago, he might get split open from the top down, but I think defenses are leery now of really laying into a QB -- even a running QB. This may actually be the correct 'penalty climate' for him to run more and get away with minimal damage. -
Bills vs. Jaguars All-22 Coaches Film Reviews

I wonder if Ike Boettger is active this Sunday. Miller has an oblique pull, so now's a good time. Work him in for a few plays at RG and see what we see. -
Do you think Robert Foster can develop to into a #1 receiver?
hemma replied to BBills88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He keeps making catches like he has the last couple of weeks and the question won't even need to be asked. He has come a loooong way since Preseason. -
It's not easy to meet the high standards of Danny Crossman.
