I agree with the OP. Patriots have 4 starting Offensive skills players that are 30+ (Brady, Edelman, Hogan, Gronkowski). Actually Gronkowski is 29 but needs a walker. As long as Belichek holds onto that core as starters, IMO they will slow down/injured even more and get passed very soon by both the Bills and the Jets. Let's hope Belichek stands pat with that crew during the offseason. If he does, next year could be 3 teams at 9-7 with the Jets & Bills fighting it out thereafter for quite awhile.

At some point, they’ll turn on him. It would just be awful if the boo birds came out and the cameras caught him getting all weepy. Just awful, especially if it was replayed 800 times for a month.

Thanks for posting. Since they chart every player for every play, makes me wonder if Belichek’s plan this past week included some obscure calc for gross weight within 3 yards of the LOS. There may be more analytics already going into game plans than we suspect.

I think Richie would have had a hard time holding it together without Wood. I think Wood was a big part of Incognito's 'support' and when he was gone, Richie's slide went quicker.

Here’s broken position: The 32nd ranked punter in the NFL has a Net of 37.7. Our punter doesn’t have enough punts to qualify for that list, but if he did, he’d be special .... 36.6. You need an accurate list of useable punters, so we don’t get caught like this again.

I’m not sure I’d include Reid in that list. He picked through our dumpster and pulled out a Kelvin Benjamin. I bet KC fans are pretty chesty over that move.
