    Peterman has had a strong camp, but Allen is improving quickly. Allen plays well this Sunday, he's the man. If he doesn't, he'll just be delayed a bit, that's all. I'm ok with it either way.

    ehh, not really. Last year (1st 2 games) he was 23/45 for 279 yards, 1 TD and no Ints. PR of 77.9 This year 17 of 20 for 232, 2 TD 1 Int for a PR of 127.5 He definitely is better, but I think that Daboll's play calls is a good chunk of the improvement.

    Might be missing Eric Wood (the OL Communicator) more than we know.

    It really doesn't take a lot of courage for McDermott to start Allen. Preseason is the time to figure out the possibilities and I can't see McDermott 'playing it safe'. Allen sure looks to be on schedule. He starts.

    Please stop deflecting with Peterman & give us an analysis of the wonderfulness of Tyrod. Your soul needs that escape. It is your lifeblood. Start with the 3rd down pass he threw 4 yards OB.

    I think Allen gets his shot next week. If he does blehhh - then it is Peterman in Game 1. If he is solid, he gets the start. I think McDermott is willing to eat a few games, as long as Allen keeps improving. He's willing to take risks, which we saw last year.

    I think you are right. When Beane said the 1st game was 'important', I think this is what he meant. 'Do good, you play with the 2's.' What if he does even better in Game 2?
