    Allen got a little gassed after one of his long runs. Didn’t have good footwork on his next pass (one of the slants you mentioned). I can live with that, especially after that kind of effort. Fatigue makes cowards of us all. (Vince Lombardi?)

    I don’t know if great ones are worth the money, but we’ve tried having crappy quarterbacks and that didn’t work at all.

    Roughly 15 of the top 20 WRs in the league were drafted in the 2nd round or later and most of them could be categorized as #1s. There are probably a few #1s in this draft that will be had after rd 1. The trick is picking them - or bugging the Steelers - or hiring their scouts, because they seem to stack em up, every year.
