  1. The 3 options provided are too narrow and slanted. For example, the trade for a '3rd' round draft pick for many voters is not sufficient. If the option were for a '2nd' round draft pick you'd have a different result.
  2. The fact that Josh leaves the pocket to run (for his life) likely slants the stats favorably for the Bills' OL.
  3. Saying Allen choked is a bit harsh. Panicked at times may be more appropriate. He wasn't alone... OL needs help. DL couldn't get home and tackle when they needed to. Let's grow from this, draft well, and come back stronger! Go Bills!
  4. I've heard all the talk that our second year MLB is a physical freak with size and speed. My eyes, however, tell me he's not tough or instinctive enough to be a good MLB, let alone a great one. IMO Beane and McDermott need to take a serious look at this position in the off season and upgrade. Perhaps Edmonds is better suited for OLB? Fans can speculate but only the coaching staff can make an educated guess. So... is Tremaine Edmunds the answer at MLB?
  5. Frazier can't account for MLB Edmunds constantly mis-reading and missing tackles. Seems to me, he's lost out there and worse... plays soft. Not sure if he's an answer at one of the OLB spots but I've seen enough now to know he's not the answer at MLB.
  6. Then he'd be an instant upgrade to our WR corp! 1-2 year deal if the price is right
  7. Seriously? Only clairvoyant's dare reply to this post before the Combine ?
  8. Took unnecessary and untimely penalties. Below average when asked to play defence. Okay, not great ST... Depth signing.
  9. Brady gets the ball out faster than Smith, Theisman and almost every other QB playing the game today. That's why he'll continue to play until he can't. He's also uber competitive and despite his aw shucks demeanor will want to pad his HOF, GOAT status. It's fun to win (and, unfortunately, that's what Belichick and Pats organization does).
  10. I agree. I saw the interview in question with Baker Mayfield, and have seen numerous others. I don't think he was being a "doosh". He stated his opinion in a civil, but disapproving way, in the context of studying all week to beat the rival Bengals - knowing his former coach had joined the Browns' cross state rivals to use his knowledge to defeat the rookie QB. Mayfield is ultra competitive (and talented). I watched most of the first half of the Browns win at Cincinatti. He was unbelievable - leading the Browns to 4 touchdowns in as many drives. Write it down, he is the next Drew Brees.
  11. Good win today. Still a little early to anoint the kid as the Bills franchise QB. On the plus side: he's big, strong armed, and can run. On the "let's see" side: can he stay in the pocket when feeling pressure, dissect defences, thread the needle + throw receivers open. We should know better what we have after this season and into 2019. Go Bills...
  12. I think everyone agrees we need to develop Josh Allen to see what we have in him. The issue isn't whether to start him again, it's a matter of when! The original plan was to bring in AJ McCarron and have the kid learn for a year. That plan was dropped when AJ was jettisoned, Peterman fizzled and, in the absence of any other alternative, Allen started. This to rather predictable uneven results (for a rookie most have judged still very raw.) Let's say JA is picked to start in two weeks against a tough Jaguars D and plays poorly. The hometown fans will be screaming for "Barkley" given his inaugural success. I don't believe that extra pressure will be good for the kid's development. (And he does need to develop: make quicker reads, stay longer in the pocket; improve his accuracy). Starting Barkley for another game or two, or until the veteran struggles, will benefit the kid in numerous ways. And allow the team, and offensive players in particular, to gain some momentum.
  13. No...100% speculation and conjecture. You did however suck me in with a provocative subject.
  14. That's why we need to trade our projected top 3 pick to collect more picks where the top offensive players will be and to fill numerous holes. Don't lose any sleep, we will lose to the Jets. I suspect a touchdown underdog.
