I’d go with (Carlton) Bailey. The four of us voted three dogs ago and her name was Bailey. Three votes wasn’t enough. This is when we learned the wife has veto power. A redhead girl named Bailey vomited in my MIL’s car when my wife was a kid. They could not get the smell out, so they traded the car in. Bonus points for the first person to post the Seinfeld episode. .

I think they should get a minute of fame at the Super Bowl recognizing them and all their counterparts around the league. I seriously think it’s well deserved. And if they happen to get seats to see the Bills win the SB……..😋 .

Praying they get to keep watching? That’s what I’d be doing. I was a bit surprised to hear Cowherd today say “let’s pray”, and I’m pleasantly shocked to see this.

I’ll never watch the replay of that game, but I just might go back and appreciate how well they did in such a terrible situation on the fly. I thought it was remarkable.

Even Kevin Bacon played in a couple preseason games for the Chargers. Maybe….. 😋 It’s very clear how tight knit the league is in general, and the Bills in particular. I’ll give ESPN credit (something I very rarely feel the need to do). They limited the replays and zoomed out rather than zoomed in. Nobody needed to see any more than the players reactions to know how serious it was. It was awkward to fill air the time initially, and that’s understandable. Scott Van Pelt and the Ryan Clark did a VERY commendable job coming on hours early and rallied under difficult circumstances. .

It would almost feel odd if the opponent did NOT score on the first drive. We adjust and get it together eventually in almost every game. We can’t take anything significant from what we saw last night.

Joe Burrow is only about 6 months younger than Josh. That was a bit surprising, but he moved around in college, I guess.

I was hoping he’d have to compete with Von for the best player on our D, but he’s my hands down winner.

A college buddy made that mistake. He lacked the full compliment of digits, and I’ll never need to be told twice.

I think he’s done growing, and he’s not getting more athletic, so they will continue tossing him a round like a rag doll. Unfortunately for Phin phans , he’s a rag doll made of china. The concussions concern me. A LOT!

To BE the best, you usually have to BEAT the best at some point. We are certainly capable of beating anyone. That guarantees us absolutely nothing. I’m just looking forward to tomorrow night. Focus on the next game is my approach.

One of the best things about going to road games is watching Bills fans take over other teams stadiums. Some more than others, obviously, but I love how our crowd travels to see our team! One of good things about people leaving WNY is that if you live somewhere else, you might be able to get a good pizza from someone who left and opened a shop near you!

I wouldn’t be surprised if a DUI checkpoint turned out to be very active!

I’m not a defender of the church, by any means. Like everything else, it is far from perfect. But that is on the money regarding social media. I was not aware he had a position on that, but it’s pretty insightful from an unexpected source. I suppose I’m technically on Facebook and Instagram, but I wouldn’t know how to go there or what to do with it. I’m currently on vacation and just walked by another family of tourists. All four of them were walking with their phones in front of the faces. All reading or postings something about where they were rather than putting the phone away and soaking in exactly what it was really like to be where they were. RIP

Hey! Look who’s in the running for #1 seed in the AFC! Every fan base can find things to complain about using their 20/20 hindsight glasses. I like the results.

A friend just sold his decent but not great seats for the Bill/Bengals game Monday night for $390 each. I can’t imagine getting into an AFCCG for less than that. I could afford to go to a Super Bowl, but the cheapskate in me just can’t justify those prices. I might feel differently if I had not already attended one SB, the game vs Redskins in frigid Minneapolis. That did not end well. Hell, it didn’t even START well with Thurman looking for his helmet!

I want him to be appointed GM for life, and then he lives to be 200.

One of the benefits of high draft picks is you get a good shot at getting a good player on the cheap for 4-5 years. It would have to be a very special situation to give up that high pick AND have to pay them top dollar. Yes, we need more WR talent, but we also need to fix the Oline. If the OL is better, so is our run game, which also helps our passing game. Win in the trenches and life gets easier.
