Let me start with this: I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about. If that doesn’t make you want to read on, I don’t know what will! I grew up mostly in Williamsville/Amherst and only went to the stadium on game days or an occasional concert, and NEVER went downtown. I left for college when I was 17 and rarely went back after that. But…..when I go back now for a game I’ll often stay downtown and I would LOVE some kind of a shuttle or light rail option to get to games. When I don’t stay downtown I stay on Main St in Williamsville (Hampton Inn). If downtown had a shuttle option I’d move to a hotel there for game day transportation. I realize it’s probably not easily accomplished or it would be done already, but I’d love that option. Regardless, as I’ve said all along that as long as they stayed in WNY I’d be happy with any location with or without a dome. GO BILLS! .

On a related note, our grandson is here today. It’s such a joy to have him, and part of our son, spending time with us. He’s only 8…..and still adorable.

Yeah, that went about the way I expected……. I’m glad I waited until I was alone. That is a club nobody should ever belong to. As someone once said to me, our lives will always be defined by before, and after. Life goes on, but nothing is the same after you bury your child.

Even back then, the rumor was decades old that Ralph was cheap. I think Keith Richards might have started that rumor, and then the universe. I kid, a couple of all-time great names there. I remember watching Butch Byrd covering Warfield at the Rockpile. It was 24 vs 42 I believe? Wow, that seems like another lifetime.

Serious question: which rides do you like the best? Short rides and stay in a busy area? Long rides? Area to area? I have a buddy who would take a guy from Cincinnati to Dayton before sunrise, and sometimes bring him back. The guy was a pilot of some sort and he didn’t know if he was needed until he arrived. It’s nice to be paid for 50 minutes of driving up the road listening to music….while being paid. It isn’t as great when he drives home alone. And unpaid. But he enjoyed it. 🤷‍♂️ Whatever makes you happy.

Only if there is room left over after we add the iconic Applebee’s and Dave & Buster’s. That’s what we are know for, after all. The area is too remote to build much around it. I just can’t see it. Use the space for nearby parking. .

I wish I could remember who the Negative Nancy was who insisted that Josh slipping on 4th down in Nashville was a myth. I saw is live right in front of us, and that was the best view I’ve seen to prove it. He slipped. It happens. Like 13 seconds, I’m long over it, but I’d like to sit next to that poster, watch that replay and have them explain how it was anything else.

The people you know who want the west coast of Florida are pure evil! You should stay as far away from them as possible, as should everybody else! How can I ever afford to move back there if everybody else wants to be there?

The third and most recent time I seriously messed up my rotator cuff I was playing some of the best tennis of my life. I was playing so well, I didn’t want to mess it up so I started hitting the gym on a regular basis. I soon found myself at the doctor’s office while he reviewed my MRI. He wanted to know about my exercise routine, and he stopped me when I got to the military press. He said something like “Nobody should ever do that! It will wreck your shoulders!” To which I responded “then why is the equipment in the gym owned by the hospital? The hospital where you work and operate and where I just had my MRI?” Working out sounds like a good idea, but it’s also a potential problem. .

Some states don’t worry about that stuff. They know who they are.

Well, those turned out nicely. May I suggest you buy generic Bills gear in the future? Honestly, that’s what I do. Just generic Bills gear because I never know which one will be a knucklehead and force a trip to Goodwill. I absolutely LOVE the sea of jerseys, but maybe I have a commitment issue. If I WERE to pick a jersey, it would be either Kyle Williams, Josh or Butch Byrd (and Butch would have to come from China).

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I want to GET to the Super Bowl. I hope we then win it, but we have to GET there first. The best way to do that is to win as many regular season games to make the AFC Playoffs come through Buffalo. There are no extra pride points or anything. Win, and move on. But maybe that’s just me? I’m really curious. .

I used to be a big tennis player. I never got tennis elbow from tennis, but I went to physical therapy for a partially torn rotator cuff. You can’t work shoulders the entire time, so they had me doing curls. Apparently my form was less than perfect (it doesn’t take much!). I got tennis elbow from the curls. I am here to tell you, it is NO JOKE! I couldn’t pick up a soda can or shake hands without extreme pain. It lasted about 10 months and then, one day out of the blue…..it was gone! Hallelujah!
