James Cook is going to be a major problem
Augie replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
He also adds an element they were targeting even back in FA with the guy from Washington. We needed a natural pass catcher, and more speed in the backfield. I want to see Cook take those seams where Singletary gets 10-15 yards…..and turn it into 7 points. Sorry defense, you’re back on the field. First world problems! . -
‘Tis the season! Worry not, this too shall pass. The bright side? It means we are about to see Bills football again! EDIT: It’s funny, but looking at it like that leaves me wondering who is NOT on the list. .

Just focus on that last part and you should be fine! It’s this kind of stuff that makes me just pay for the Sunday Ticket rather than call and grovel for discounts or add-ons. It’s a natural barrier of frustration.

I’m pretty sure I know who wins this!

Rich Stadium Concession Prices circa 1975
Augie replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
They made up for it with cheap hookers and blow??? It’s funny to see cigarettes on the list. It wasn’t THAT long ago (1990) that you could smoke on a plane. The tide has turned there! I don’t think I even know anyone who smokes now. -
Keep Haack as Holding Specialist (EDIT: Goodnight Sweet Prince)

A backup long snapper on a team friendly contract would round out the picture. I say GO FOR IT! -

BUT…..the real question remains: will you be done forever? I always love it when people are done forever. It’s also amusing when people fall for silliness, but that is another topic. -

You and @Gugny have wandered into that gray area between cozy and kinky. …..but who am I to judge? 🤷♂️ -

We can share what we got of yours ‘cause we’ve done shared all of mine………..🎶 -
I think you spelled sarcastrometerer wrong.

Some of the larger properties have barb wire fencing, but they are usually housing hundreds of “residents”. You do NOT want to be on the wrong side of THAT fence. OK, I just watched the end of The Shawshank Redemption. This may be related late on a Friday night.
-
Quick and easy. I can’t imagine a greater tragedy, or a better cause.

Maybe his Friday night was the reason he woke up and didn’t know what day it was? 🤷♂️ I just came from a restaurant that has an “Awesome Fish Sandwich” on the menu….and it really is AWESOME!

Some time well before 3 years I would have “expectations” that exceeded anything he experienced. -
I will plead the 5th, and be happy not knowing the answer.

Some is better than other, but no. No I have not.

You realize, of course, that if scrambled eggs at happy hour catches on, this might have to be merged with the cost of chicken wing thread. Eggs>Chicken>Wings.

I agree Gabe could do that, but I can’t forget OBJ just might have been the Super Bowl MVP had he not been injured. Adding extra weapons for a shot at a Lombardi Trophy works for me. And he can win the SB MVP for all I care! EDIT: It’s almost like the NBA now, lets stack a team to buy a trophy, much like Von and OBJ last year. I have to say, I really hate that………unless it’s OUR TROPHY!!! .

I honestly have close to zero possibility that Davis won’t perform. My main concern is injury, which we all know happens every year to some degree. But I agree with you on the wait and see approach. No telling what the picture might look like in a few months.

When I lived in Hilton Head my boss was in Charleston. I knew the area pretty well back then. I also spent the summer there in a management training program the first year I was married, then just go home on the weekends. (That was odd after being married for only a few months, but worth the investment.) I’d consider it, but I’d still need a place to get away from summer heat. It gets much hotter than the west coast of Florida, which would be great for 6 months and a day to avoid state income tax. They would fly up (driving was 7-8 hours) and stay at the (then) Ritz across the street. I thought it was odd, but knew other people who used to come up for long weekends. Great shopping, good food and entertainment. Now? Not so much. I think a lot of big cities have suffered the same way. This is indeed sad.

I knew people from Florida who would travel to Atlanta to shop at Lennox Mall years ago! I wouldn’t drive the 20 minutes to get there now! Phipps Plaza is probably even more upscale, but it was taken over by the mobs in 2020. Looted for all they had. Atlanta is certainly not all bad, but there is a LOT of room for improvement! I like our house and our immediate area, but the greater Atlanta area is NOT near the top of my ideal retirement locations. Charleston, SC was mentioned and is very nice. I suggest renting there for a summer before making a purchase. I like summer, but it is brutally hot!

I need a very good reason to go into Midtown/Downtown. My neighborhood is full of people who used to live in Buckhead. The architect who originally designed our neighborhood (and some of the finest houses in Buckhead) recently moved in down the road and renovated a house. He was in the heart of Buckhead and while visiting recently said “everyone is trying to get out of Buckhead”. Our son and his wife rented a place from us between Midtown and Buckhead by the Beltline. They were ready to have a “family home” (expecting in October), but the drag racing and gun shots sped this process up. We were glad to sell that place when we did! It’s a terrible shame. We need leadership to clean this up. It can still be done.

Cannabis consumption on track to overtake alcohol

Go just 10 mph over in Atlanta and you just might get rear ended! 😱 I’m not a fan, but I keep my world small. -

Yeah, but those “water brakes” stop you on a dime! -
He was an uninsured driver who caused an accident. He had no assets, so the judge declared that he should work for a guy named George.
