Great find, great post. Cowherd has been on board for a while.

He’s one of the biggest Josh fans out there, and when he changed his mind he owned it. I must admit, I had early doubts myself but I’m thrilled to have a seat on the Josh Bandwagon!

I used to take my oldest to a sports bar on the weekends/meat market at night. He was maybe 8 when we started, and the cutest thing in the bar. The servers all loved him, and he won a strangely high percentage of the regular drawings they were having. Unfortunately, giant beer and tequila tee shirts that wouldn’t fit him for years were not great gifts for a young boy. It became awkward when he got a tee shirt with a gecko (the name of the bar) kicking a football thru the uprights and the caption said “Gecko’s, the easiest place to score!” That took some fancy talking on my part. 😂

Special times and special memories. I miss those days! Most people who go to a game on a Friday night (or strangely Saturday in WNY) don’t realize all the hard work and dedication that goes into it. Our boys used to get up super early to be at the gym by 6:00am so they didn’t miss their weight room time during two a days. Most of the kids hated the double practices, and ours got up at 5:30am to do extra. They got that kind of work ethic from their mother. .

It sucks to be out of work.

Well, at least we have Josh and not Deshaun Watson. That’s got to count for something.

That sounds very reasonable. A lot of us are about the same age from the same general area. I knew a guy in college in Cincinnati for a couple years before I learned we played hockey against each other in Williamsville. It was our guys against their guys on the pond across Maple Rd. I’d bet there are at least a couple…..”WAIT! You’re him?” situations here.

After the second time…………..you were just ready for a buzz on anyone’s tab. 👍

It just wears you down and before you know it……I heard “Y’all” come out of my mouth one time while living in Hilton Head, SC. 🤷‍♂️ Like Florida, HHI doesn’t qualify as “The South”, but it came out of my mouth and I was shocked!

My first thought! Does he really get paid if he never made the roster? How much? I’m not sure how this really works.

I don’t see it in this window we are in. Don’t trade away a guy who might be critical one high ankle sprain from now. It’s not worth a late round pick for next year when we could win it all this year. I’m wrong a lot, so…….🤷‍♂️ What Shakir has shown makes Crowder a possibility, IMO.

I’m not sure what the etiquette is, but the maids cleaning up after visitors flying home from vacations must get a different kind of tip if they discover what had to be left behind. It could be it’s own little cottage industry. We can share what we got of yours ‘cause we’ve done shared all of mine…..🎶

Some will take this as an opportunity to condemn McD for having Johnson on the staff. “That’s all his fault! That’s on him! He’s the reason we couldn’t run the ball!” I like people who take every situation and try to make it better. It seems we have done that here.

Ford went out of his way to publicly promote Kromer. That was a good sign all around. Kromer is effective, and Ford heard the message. Good for BOTH of them! And for the Bills!!!

Thank you! I had heard about the interview in ways that made it sound much worse than that. I have no problem with calling it what it is, and being proud of how he handled it.

It will continue to look bad in retrospect no doubt, but I’m WAY over it. We can’t change it now, so I’ll just look at the present and toward the future. Live, learn, move forward. To each their own, but I personally feel that is the healthier approach for me.

Umm, why was the little girl checking the cat’s anus? N/M, I probably don’t want to know! My awesome suggestion is Brandon Beane and the wizardry that allows him to turn guys who won’t make our team into trading chips for the next draft! Anyone else remember the old asthma (I think) commercial that says “when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.” VERY TRUE!

Some people here require perfection (like they think they see in the mirror every morning). Always finding that one thing that went wrong and latch on for dear life. I’m with you, if you look at the Big Picture you will realize how fortunate we are to have him. A little hyperbole after a trade like this is to be expected. Relax people. These are very good times.

I wonder what the odds are that we actually use that pick vs using it as a chip to move around. That is Bean’s M.O. Keep picking up those little chips to use to get that one guy they like but don’t think he will drop all the way to him.

I guess Van Morrison got sick of that. We saw him a few months ago on his “Everything But The Hits Tour”. It was really odd! Still good, but odd, and at least a little disappointing.

Getting him the first punt in our last game was more of the same, I believe. Trying to do the right thing by him. Players notice that stuff.

I’m just thrilled that we are on this end of the deal for a change. We used to look for starters and depth guys on other teams scrap heaps. We are now the team that others look to when they need pieces before the season starts. I’’m good with Blackshear making it to our practice squad. He clearly has something to offer, and it seems to be instincts and effort more than amazing physical talent.

I think a PPV cage match might bring in a few dollars from some of the regulars here and might make this a viable venture!
