  1. Please define “a moral person.” BTW - “hoarding” has a negative connotation which kind of gives you away. Is Bill Gates “moral”? He’s using his wealth to try to fix the world, while he encourages others to do the same. Is he a moral person, in your eyes?
  2. I wonder how many teams are owned 100% by a single person/family and how many have investors. I think investors are a fairly common thing, and they have nothing but the best legal and financial advisors. This isn’t like us buying a vacation home with my sister-in-law. You can do your billionaire buddy a favor by letting him inside.
  3. My sister-in-law lives in NE PA and ran into someone in Bills gear. Apparently that person IS on TBD and apparently knew of me. No mention was made of him having me on “Ignore”, so that’s good I guess. 🤷‍♂️ .
  4. I just got home from my “bookstore”, a/k/a Costco where I picked up a couple easy reads, a Baldacci and whoever wrote this one for Patterson. My wife is still trying to finish The Art of Racing In The Rain. I liked that one, but she just doesn’t have much time.
  5. I’m the cautious type who avoids riff-raff as much as possible. 😋 I was thinking of hosting a game last season, but then the season got ugly, and many fans followed suit. Maybe early next season, before they ruin our collective mood.
  6. At 83, if anybody catches it you get points in my book. Make it happen FAST so you don’t get vaporized. You HAD to go there??? 😂
  7. Funny, I moved away from WNY in ‘77, spent college years in Cincinnati then moved to Hilton Head, SC. The people from SC say y’all in daily conversation, which I thought was a little rednecky. Until it came out of my mouth. I still remember the first time, kinda stopping me in my tracks. Did I just say that???
  8. I thought that was just in Italy! Is “anyways” a thing? A friend makes fun of me because I’ll sometimes say that instead of anyway. So he’s justified in razzing me I guess, but I’ve seen it with the S at the end here, amongst my peeps. So, maybe it’s a regional thing and I get a pass. And if I’m lying, he’ll never know. 😋
  9. That is the ONLY way I could do it due to a tear in my rotator cuff that just won’t get better this time. I would “have a catch” with my son in high school, but I would punt it to him (or go underhand) and he would throw it back to me. He was the QB and punt returner so it worked out great. He never muffed a punt, even if I think he briefly went brain dead a couple times and forgot to call for a fair catch. Yes, I still give him a hard time over that when I can work it in. 😋 I’ve got one throw in me then I collapse in pain, so it had better be for a TD!
  10. I have found them to be very helpful and lovely people…..when you are signing up for something. Try to cancel anything? Good luck.
  11. RIP What a name back in the day.
  12. When did you get work? Good for you! I see a new ashtray in your future! Are you excited???
  13. That was my first thought regarding “having a catch.” My first thought looking at the title was “I could care less.” That one just annoys me. If you say that, stop and think about it.
  14. I was not aware she had openly discussed it, but I love hearing that!
  15. As unfortunate as that is, we all knew it was coming. It just stings when we start seeing it actually happen.
  16. I started a job once on the same day as another guy and we became friends. His last name was Ruggerio, nice guy from Chicago. So, I’m sitting in his office one day and I notice his name plate says Ruggiero. I had to ask if he spelled his own name wrong, or just pronounced it wrong. Say it out loud. He seemed genuinely confused. No, that’s the way it is. Okay then……. 🤷‍♂️ Some kitchen stuff is one thing, but your own NAME??? 😂
  17. I love her. She is her Mom’s child. She’s still near the top of women’s tennis, but if down the line she became more heavily involved I think that would be great.
  18. They say the first million is the hardest. Then you only need 899 million more.
  19. You paid for part of the stadium, not the team. Very different.
  20. Haven’t we seen a team that had to sell already because they couldn’t pay the inheritance tax? That’s not chump change!
  21. ….and it’s gonna cost a bit more than 50 yard line Club seats.
  22. Did they have a stadium coming out of the ground across the street when they moved? Teams usually move because they can’t get a stadium. .
  23. In the land of the real world, yes I think it matters.
