At least we will be wearing Buffalo Bills helmets, and the “white” won’t be a version of the Lions uniforms after a laundry accident.

Full disclosure, I was never a baseball fan because it’s too slow for me personally. I would have a Braves game on in the background sometimes, but it was mostly white noise to me. I stopped even doing that back when they had “confusion” about the strike zone. The Ump does not decide the strike zone. It should not be different from guy to guy. I’d have an electronic strike zone before putting up with their arrogance. That’s just my way of looking at life. I don’t need to appease anyone’s ego. I also avoid the NBA like it’s my job. Same reason.

I’m not a conspiracy theory guy, but I’m also not a fan of the excuse that we’re not crooked, we are just totally incompetent.

I’m impressed, I would have thought the Greyhound bus would have been a straight shot south. Why splurge on a plane ticket like that? Bengals are showing off now!

We spent about twice that on tickets for the four of us at the opener in the lower bowl. (My wife is neither patient nor frugal when it comes to purchasing tickets.) We could have waited, I’m sure, to get the ticket prices down but it was a decision we made. While I’m looking forward to attending the Monday night game in Atlanta with family, the opener proved to me once again how much better the viewing experience is at home. If the price really annoys me, I’ll gladly just stay home. It’s better at home in so many ways I don’t feel the need to stretch myself on tickets too often.

That’s one of the worst no calls I’ve seen since the Saints didn’t go to the Super Bowl. It does make you wonder how it could be THAT BAD. Did they not correct that call? What was he supposed to do? That’s crazy to me. The NFL is slowly following the NBA into obscurity for me.

They probably all still have active leases in WNY. It just makes sense.

I will if he won’t. Rex with the Bills was a clown with a giant ego. If he was that good of a coach, he’d still be coaching instead of a blow hard on TV.

I just have flashbacks of people racing thru the area where Cole Bishop should have been on their way to the end zone. You have to be in the right place at the right time. He’s improving, I suppose, but it’s far from comforting having him out there. Let’s not overreact and make it too low of a priority, because it matters a lot. I’m sure some guys will pick it up faster than others.

It looked like the Lions had an unfortunate laundry accident. Hard pass for me. And the helmets were worse. NO, it’s not why they lost, but it is one of the reasons I don’t care as much as I used to.

I do NOT know this world, but I sat in on the calls about my coverage. I even learned a little bit, while nodding along and my wife asked the questions and took notes. Anyway, one of the things this guide taught us was to look at how long each company had been doing it in your area, were they making or losing money, financial strength, etc. He showed us some things and said that may look like the best deal, but it probably won’t last. I wish I knew enough to help.

Why? It’s already been decided: “it’s very clear that the 90% of us wish a change.” All it took was one loss. This place is amazing. Some of our fans are as bad as those uniforms.
