  1. I suggest we find out! A life size Josh statue would be pretty huge.
  2. A) I like our top paid players being QB, CB1, Edge, WR and LT. The Pats* are a couple TE’s and a LB. I like our plan better. B) You don’t even have to mention the Browns by name. The 💩 says it all!
  3. He might get a nice Pay Per View check if they put him in a cage match with Dareus fighting over a single donut! The human body is just not meant to be that heavy. To expect him to still be athletic enough to play in the NFL is a tough ask. I was skeptical the first time I saw him, and I hope I’m wrong but….I’m afraid he may be done if he can’t find the discipline to keep his weight in check. Even if he can, he’s still a very big boy on compromised knees. I’ll root for the person and hope he finds a way.
  4. Too many Skittles and all reason is lost! I’m just glad nobody got hurt, and I’ll hope he learns from it…..this time. History says that is unlikely.
  5. We went to some nice places on the water, but what stood out most to me, as I walked around town in my Bills gear, was all the people saying “welcome to Wisconsin!” in their funny little accents. I got that all over town!
  6. Was this your most recent gig in Williamsville?
  7. My sister lives in Appleton (nice town!) and we attended the Bills game in Green Bay a few years ago. I must say, I didn’t really see Titletown and I wish I’d made a point of doing that. Having said that, the thing that stands out to many people is that Lambeau is an NFL stadium sitting right in the middle of a normal, middle class residential neighborhood. All those houses contain potential customers/users of the shops. Highmark stadium sits in the middle of the vast wasteland that is most of Orchard Park. There are very few people living near the stadium. I’d love a hotel and some more shops/restaurants/bars within an easy walk of the stadium, but I don’t see that happening. Maybe a new stadium will cause that to happen, but I doubt it. It’s too remote to draw much attention other than on game days, when they are probably too busy to be of much use while being overwhelmed 8-10 days a year. What might be possible is some kind of shuttle/light rail from downtown. I’m NOT an expert on WNY or the obstacles related to connecting downtown to the stadium, but it would be more practical than building out around the stadium, it seems.
  8. But it will be in your dreams!
  9. I take Venmo. @plenzmd1 made me! .
  10. This, from the guy who was “a problem” in his last location. He and Josh are a team for the ages!
  11. Fondue is one of my favorites, too!
  12. I’m tied up and can’t watch, but I’m guessing this is a great piece. How can I be so sure? It says Josh is mic’s up. Sounds like must see TV!
  13. I wonder if anyone posting here put $5k on the Bills? What was the spread? And did he tell his wife???
  14. I have to correct you. This is disbelief I’m speaking of. Beyond that there is not a listening problem. She listens just fine. It’s ignoring what I said that stings!
  15. Not to get too far off track, but our old friend was able to go to work in the morning rather than have a 24-48 hour tequila hangover! 🤢 🤮 In an attempt to get back on track, if he had had access to a dispensary (they were in FL, right?) he would had had safer options. I know, I’m the first to say let the facts come out, but there should be safe options everywhere. I might need to have you talk to my wife on that one. How many decades do you have to repeat it before she believes it??!! Give her a half glass of wine and she’s got the whole room voting as to whether this could be true! 😂
  16. Apparently, weed ain’t what it used to be! We have old friends who recently told us the story of the time he took one hit too many out on the deck late at night. He sat there for a while, then decided it was getting late and he should go inside. He had about 10 steps to take to get inside onto the couch. About halfway, he knew he wasn’t going to make it. He went down. From weed! He landed on the threshold with his legs on the deck, his torso inside and a carpet burn on his face! The wife couldn’t move him, so she put a pillow under his head and went to bed leaving him in the wide open doorway in bear country. 😂 Weed…..It’s not what it used to be. .
  17. Prison overflow? Keep a close eye on the towels!
  18. We drove down to see the Orange Bowl (FSU vs Notre Dame) one year and got off at the wrong exit. It’s hard to believe you are still in the USA. It was terrifying and we worried we might not get out. I had a client once get robbed and carjacked in Miami. The cops showed up (one car) and my clients said “they just left, right up this road”. They were told the cops didn’t go in there with just one car, far too dangerous. That reminds me of the old joke: You know what the best thing is about Miami? It’s so close to the US! It’s another world, with extreme wealth and extreme poverty and violence in fairly close proximity. As for the “why” of this shooting, I thought I read there was an intent to not actually PAY for the drugs. Some details may come out, but I suspect we’ll never know the full story. It’s just incredibly sad all around.
  19. Oh, you should be fine. Do you have a bike helmet or something you can wear?
  20. I wish some people could see the obvious: somebody lost a son over this. No, he probably wasn’t a saint. It’s not news to you, but nobody on this board is a saint, and nobody should be murdered in cold blood over something that appears to be so trivial. A family is grieving, and I think it’s appropriate to focus on that right now. Maybe later, when more facts are known, we can start to understand what happened here and why. In the meantime, it’s not our place to play judge and jury here. All I know is I’ll pray for the family. This is far, far too common, especially in some areas.
  21. Hey! I resemble that remark!
  22. Watson was the LAST guy who should get a fully guaranteed contract with the legal issues and questions about availability hanging over his head. They did the OPPOSITE of what rational minds would have done. I agree though, the Murray deal seems to say the rest of the league knows what a boneheaded move that was.
  23. I was shipped in to St Joe’s for high school, and that was as close as I got to downtown. I had two completely different sets of friends. I had the kids I spent the school days with, then the friends who lived out near me. There was very little overlap in those crowds. A bit strange as I look back on it, but it certainly could have been worse.
  24. Maybe they will only guarantee 90%? That would be bold for them! Do you think every other owner hates Haslam? That Watson deal was insane. I laugh at the thought of owners meetings being like a middle school lunch room for billionaires. I wonder how those cliques line up.
  25. Do you think the Pegula’s fired up the private jet? I’ve loved our Bills for a loooong time. I’ve just never understood the obsession with another person’s signature. I had a tennis racquet used and signed by the Bryan brothers at Wimbledon (forget who used it, but won in a drawing at an exhibition from their former coach). A tennis buddy is an electrician and came to the house when I had an issue. He spent most of a day, then wouldn’t let me pay him. I gave him the racquet at the courts the next day. To him it was like a million dollars. I made space in my closet. Not right or wrong, just……different views. .
