  1. Bills 27 Bucs 24 Brady finally gets the motivation and the kick in the ars from McD to get going and finally throw the ball downfield. This then will open up Cook in the second half achieving 104 yards. The Bucs get behind early as Moore finally starts getting used effectively, and Palmer comes back. People will be surprised in Kinkaid’s absence Knox steps up like he did before Kinkaid came into the league with a couple of acrobatic catches for a TD and a 3rd down conversion. Im sick of being negative as I was so upset about the Fish loss. My optimistic side says behind closed doors McD is raking Brady over the coals to get a downfield passing game open. He’ll always going to be supportive to the media of Brady, but what happens in his office will be different. He can’t be hard on him in front of the team.
  2. Good analogy as I can’t believe any Bills fan wouldn’t know the Remember the Titans reference.
  3. If the guy had a problem a decade ago, and has never had a problem since, it’s a private issue. I’ve dealt with people who had past issues, and if he’s moved past it, leave the guy alone. I’m not crazy about the trolling thing from Sunday, but it’s really trivial.
  4. That would easier to do if Brady would take some pages out of Daboll, and Beane would get his head out of… , and stop neglecting WR. This has been going on for 5+ years. Brady is also not utilizing Moore and Samuel correctly. Get these guys schemed downfield and once Palmer is ready should be some alternating guys with Shakir DOWNFIELD. Every loads up on us as they know exactly what we’re going to do. Ugghh!
  5. Sounds good T. Whenever you vacation in the Tampa Bay Area, send me a PM and we’ll make it happen.
  6. He still going to be fired at the end of the year, and will never get a second chance as head coach. He can be an OC somewhere. On that note, I can hear it in McDs pressers his frustrations with Brady. I don’t think he’s retained by the Bills and definitely not getting the nod for a HC job.
  7. You know when you lead people and his job is much more than my $30 million book of business which is peanuts, but so et8 es you just have to admit privately you made a mistake and move on. You don’t have to mea culpa to the media at all. Just change it. He’s a waste of space. I hope he doesn’t play another down for us. We’d be better off.
  8. Hey, I’d bring him home tomorrow, but McD is never bringing him back, but that’s too bad as he could probably scheme these worthless receivers open.
  9. All good T. On this One point I disagree. That’s all buddy.
  10. T, I’m not saying it’s a distraction at times, but I’m a focused guy, and he’s much more focused than me. He wants to win. Marriages don’t destroy work ethic if you’re the right guy. Josh is the right guy. You can’t use garbage for weapons, and expect to win. Lastly, the OC has to have a better plan if he wants to win. Those are the problems. Not Josh. Not an indictment on you at all. You’re a solid poster, and respect your opinion. I just don’t agree with youre findings on this one position.
  11. SDS, although I agree with you the experience leaves something to be desired as I’ve been to more Bills/Miami games than I care to admit, as living in Tampa, it’s also not horrible. In many ways, Jax was worse for the Bills/Jax playoff game in 2017. I used to go to Miami every year was during the drought. What was disturbing was the play of our loved team.
  12. Tmaster, I know you’re a very good poster, but his misdoings are not about getting married, it’s about not giving him like Parcells said the right ingredients to make the stew. So basically a flawed approach to drafting with Beane, then a forced flawed approach to OC by Brady, and a flawed group of WRs, minus Shakir, and Kinkaid if you add TEs. Rbs have been great and so is the O Line. Josh didnt forget how to be a QB, he is play has flawed WRs and their use. Moore and Samuel need to be more utilized, and less on Coleman.
  13. It’s amazing the fans who have less than 200 posts always incredibly have the most criticism. He has every right to his opinions, ans that’s fine. Always respect other points of view. Allen is not the problem, but both the WRs and the OC are the problem. Shakir’s heroic efforts are admirable. So are Kinkaid’s. The O Line is solid, the RB’s are great. The QBs only flaw is he’s dealing with mediocre to poor WRs, and that is the problem. Brady has to find a more effective way to utilize Samuel and Moore, hopefully get Coleman on the bench except for spot duty and just accept he’s a failure. The reason Josh is getting turnovers, is he’s trying to do too much, because he has a flawed group of weapons. It’s also why we are leaning so hard on Cook. What else are we going to do? Knox temporarily will have to step in and let Kinkaid to completely heal. If Beane doesn’t use his 1st and 2nd rd picks next year on fast WRs it’s criminal and should be fired the day after the draft. I’m not kidding. I’ve been criticized for being too McBeane friendly, but I’ve had enough. I’m sick of the inaction on WR in the draft for over 5 years minus the Diggs trade. Veteran free agents isn’t feasible with our cap issue, but the draft is cheap labor for 4-5 years.
  14. That was a good point on George. I met him once. I was a medical device repeat the time before mgmt, and had to meet an uber rich guy on a private plane for a unique CGM device (the first and I was one of only 7 pilot territories to field test). Steinbrenner was in the Tampa private airport next to TPA. I’m waiting for the billionaire flying in from an island in the Gulf. I saw him and introduced myself. He was so gracious, spoke to me about how my dad was invited for a tryout in 1955 after Korea for the then Brooklyn Dodgers. He asked more questions about my dad as he was waiting for his private jet. Many know he has the Yankees preseason stadium in Tampa and an incredible philanthropist in the Tampa Bay Area. My point in this inconsequential story was he was nothing but decent, friendly to a young (at the time) ambitious med device rep who was a go getter. I agree with the premise that so many owners make $ no matter what and is a simple investment. Steinbrenner truly cared about winning. As stated, so did the Maras, Rooneys, and so on. So far, I still like the Pegulas and believe he wants to win to a point. I’m one of the only not NHL fans even though an immediate family members has worked for the Sabres for 25 years. When I was younger my ex wife’s trade off was I can be obsessed with the Bills and the NFL as long as it was not every sport. She put up with me for 22 years, and my current wife basically when I start yelling at my iPad or tv, she’s basically states I’m going to Costco. What the McBeane administration does from now til the end of the year will be telling.
  15. I usually read these posts early in the morning so you beat me to it. Both Brady is not scheming them open, and the crop of current WR’s minus Shakir are terrible. Beane should have worked harder on a trade before the deadline.
  16. You needed a graphic for your remarks. Problem solved…
  17. The pictorial was funny, but agreed on the bipolar comment.
  18. While I agree, Beane has not given Josh the toys to really win. We looked absolutely terrible yesterday. They wanted it a lot more than us. Most of you know I’ve been very pragmatic about the coaching and management of the team, but this is enough. I’m old enough to remember how they destroyed us for a decade until that fateful Sunday in 1980. I don’t remember the early 70’s, but knew how much my older brother and dad hated the Fish. I was embarrassed to be a bills fan yesterday. My wife had to drive her younger son to work, but think she also left so she didn’t have to hear me yell at my iPad (the Bucs were playing on tv, so I used a Chinese website to see the Bills).
  19. Hondo, I agree. I love Buffalo. I know I haven’t lived there in awhile, but Buffalo never left my heart. I raised my kids the same way and they are true blue (royal blue) bills fans. They come over often for games and know the team as much as myself. Go Bills! the chiefs taught me we can win. I have no idea just like all of you if we’ll win the SB. 31 teams lose. I think it’s possible. I would’ve wanted a WR like Shaheed ans think Beane made a monster mistake, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love this team. Bleed red, white, and royal blue. I still love my Bucs, but I’ll still root for my bills in a week even against the team I’ve lived in that city for 39 years.
  20. In my humble opinion that’s what needs to happen for Hancock and Hairston. We could be seeing an evolution of our new secondary. We still have Benford and I don’t see Taron being done.
  21. Donuts, you’re a great Bills fan. Thanks for the research effort. We will win in this game, and we will be in the positive for years.
  22. History indicates different. I think well keep all of them, but the Edwards/McGovern deals will be a bit shorter than Torrence.
  23. I thought it was a terrible pick, and hoped he could contribute, but it was an Elam type miss.
  24. 716, even though i grew up in Hamburg, mydad used to be as a side job the House Manager of the K of C, mygrandma lived in the front of my Uncle Opthamology office, my mom worked for my uncle, my brother lived in Lack, so i basically grew up around Lackawanna. Whenever I drove past that stadium i always thought whatan ungrateful SOB Jaworsky was for not taking the time to come back for Homecoming. I couldnt stand listening to him on ESPN before he was canned. Be proud of where you came from. Living in Philly is fine, but don’t forget you're roots.
  25. Turk, I agree we are not using let’s see Moore, Knox, Samuel enough or in the right manor, ans lastly I understand Kinkaid had the oblique, but he’s the most impactful target outside of Cook, and of course Allen. I like the ball control offense, but we aren’t being as versatile as we can be. Escalating utilization of Moore and Samuel as long as healthy downfield, not the BS behind the lines. Increasing Kinkaid utilization, and getting our 3 RBs involved in the passing game is paramount for an ever increasing offense. I know it’s devastating losing Oliver and Hoecht, but increasing utilization to get reps in Miami with Hairston’s and Hancock is so important as that is when they both need. REPS! Same goes for Bishop. Cam Lewis can handle Miami so we get one more week with Taron resting. We can only pray Milano, Williams, and Bernard doesn't get hurt. We also have to have a healthy Benford for this defense to work. I know Prater made a mistake last week, but until Bass is absolutely 100% healthy, we stick with Prater. Anyway, this is just my two cents on what to do. You guys can debate it all you want as that is what we do on this board. There are a lot of decent football minds on this board as I consider myself to an extent one of them. That doesn’t mean I’m right and another is wrong. Turk, although I appreciate youre sentiment, we could’ve still benefited from getting Shaheed vs. the Hawks. That was a bad miss on Beane’s part, or Olave. I know some speculation was a move for Brian Thomas and that could’ve worked. Now we have nothing, and that sucks.
