  1. This is probably my least favorite holiday, but I wish the best to all my friends and persons I know on this board. I’ll enjoy a heck of a lot more thanksgiving, Xmas, Easter, etc. you guys have a great time with you’re parties and kids having their fun.
  2. Bud you know I like and respect you as you’ve always been in my opinion respectful and honest as a Bills fan. This is trying to file up a rival base. You’re better that that my friend. So enjoy the game and we’ll probably talk again after either way. No matter the outcome, if you’re respectful, I promise I will as well. You’re a proud Chiefs fan. That’s respectfutl. Please don’t go the other way. Hey, you beat us four times in the playoffs. You’re poking a bear. C’mon. Your better than that one.
  3. Bull, while I appreciate your enthusiasm, I really do, the fact is we are not getting consistent separation. Coleman has proven now in two years he’s too slow, and also has two team discipline infractions. We need one of the several names floated these past two weeks by insiders. On the positive side, I believe Palmer participated yesterday in some capacity yesterday. If we want the most remote hope of winning Sunday, we need him, as well as a great day by Cook. We also need Kinkaid to make it through the game. Beane needs toget his head out of his behind, and find a trade partner. Just admit he was horribly wrong on Coleman (not publicly of course) by trading for a real WR. I’m normally pretty positive about McBeane, but this isn’t working. We can’t reasonably expect Cook to run for 216 yards every game.
  4. That’s only if the Pats lose and we win. We’re actually behind if we don’t win. The Pats even in this circumstance has the head to head on us. We have to also beat the Pats in Foxborough.
  5. Bruffalo, I’m in agreement as schedules are determined years in advance. I think most people on this board know that. This year we get again as many know the NFCS, and AFCN. We also play a 1st place schedule for the other two AFC opponents, meaning the AFCW, and AFCS. We can’t determine that. Their 13 wins and division title determines it, and it’s a rotating. NFC #1 seed each year so this year we get the Eagles. You know the SB champs. We still have the Texans, Chiefs, Bucs, a much better Patriots team and they will all be battles.
  6. I’m seriously doubtful Tomlin will get fired. That’s not the Rooney way. They may be disappointed in some aspects of coaching, but they’ve also enjoyed a pm equal or winning record for what 15 years or longer. Granted Tomlin inherited a solid team under Cowher.
  7. Thurmon, you know I respect you a great deal, and yes, Shakir is a solid slot. He’s not an x. In addition, Palmer is week to week. I applaud Beane for trying with Moore, but it’s failed so far. You’re right, we don’t need a great WR room, but a team. With that said, JA looks a heck of a lot better when he had Diggs in his prime and opposite Davis who served a purpose as a third or fourth. Not a number 2. We do have a WR problem. That doesn’t mean it fixes everything. JA is having problems with no one to throw to for whatever reason.
  8. This is silly. We need a separating WR. There’s no talking out if it other than to cover themselves. It’s called two eyes. Watch an all 22. You’ll see it if you know what to watch which most people on this board do know how to read offenses and defenses.
  9. I love that guy. You could keep going. For me, Heat, Black Hawk Down, Superman, Armageddon, and on and on. I loved him in a bit part in Shooter, the TV show. He can play so many different roles. Bottom line, he is Buffalo, and makes me proud. He should be out some Sunday not as the Bills legend, but share the spotlight with Thurmon, or someone. I think his kids would like that one. I love when every couple of years he some son WGR when we are competing for a playoff spot.
  10. I wouldn’t say that, but anything is better than the downfield production we are getting from the WRs right now minus a couple of flashes from Palmer who’s now sidelined until further notice. Wed better trade for a separator, or were not going anywhere.
  11. I wish there was an option to choose two. I started with Beaker (Kermit- To me he looks and talks more like Beaker if you watched the Muppet Show), not that I think he’s so cocky, but he’s treated in the media as if he does nothing wrong when he’s had two down years. Kelce is more of the annoying one with his never ending presence on social media, and don’t get me started with the ongoing crap on Swifty relationship. He’s also taken a downturn in his performance, but just occasionally listening to guys like Collinsworth on the broadcasts, you’d think they both walk on water. I don’t hate either one of them, as there are only 1-2 people I hate. They are just annoying to me.
  12. DJB, you’re a great Bills fan and TBD poster. Why didn’t you just title the link you provided? Not like you friend.
  13. I assume you guys are kidding as this is the pope. You do know there is a huge RC population in Buffalo and elsewhere. I don’t mind some innocent kidding, but as the mods say, don’t demean any group.. well I’m Catholic. Please live this alone and appreciate it.
  14. I love that guy. He’s been so good in so many movies and tv shows. One of his best was in the first season of Shooter, the tv show. He was in Armageddon, Superman, and so many others. He loves the Bills and Buffalo. It’s ok to live in LA or wherever and still love his home team. That’s what makes us special. We don’t give up on our team no matter how long we are away.
  15. Sounds good BoyysT. Dan. I don’t mind sharing my real first name to excellent posters.
  16. Boys, I typically get on Audacy if not live and listen to his picks as he just does it for fun. I only disagree with one of his choices. I seriously doubt we will get swept by the Cheats.
  17. I thought about the poll, and it depends on several factors. Does Hairston’s play increase as well need it against KC’s speedy receivers? Does Hoecht and Ogunjobi continue to make a nice impact on our defense? Does Palmer come back so we don’t have to run the entire offense through Cook? I love Cook, but if they shut him down to even an avg. day, we are no match the way our WRs are separating to keep up with their WRs. These are just some matters, and I’m sure there are others. Moore better get on the same page with JA and be used effectively downfield. None of this end around crap, nir 1yard off the LOS. I also hope Kinkaid can keep getting healthier as he is very impactful over the middle along with Shakir. Our once open downfield threat is what we desperately need.
  18. Something to consider is if an O Lineman is grabbing the defender on the number inside it is not holding. Once he goes to the outside, that is holding. It’s usually caused because the O Lineman is getting beat, and he hopes he can get away with it. The more blatant the hold, the more likely it will get called. Part is also a sign of a QB holding onto the ball too long. As many know, JA may be holding onto the ball too long as the WRs as many have said are not separating in 2.5 seconds. Those are the quick release QBs. This speaks all the more to trade for a WR. The article this morning in the Syracuse paper in WR options among the DT options. It’s on the main page of the TBD. For me it’s 1st, Brian Thomas, 2nd, Chris Olave, and 3rd, Rasheed Shaheed. Josh is lost without proper use of our WRs. Palmer’s injury came at the worst possible time.
  19. I’ve not read all 19 pages of this thread, but Thomas had 1282 yards last year so not sure why they would want to trade him. He could be a very valuable, cheap, and young talent so I say go for it. Most of these threads are guys over the hill, or not what we need. We need an X, and if Palmer comes back, we would have two outside threats to compliment Shakir and Kinkaid. I underestimated Cook this year, and now he looks like a steal at $12 mil.
  20. It’s not only that about OJ, but in 1973 when he went for 2003 yards, it was the most all time on a per game average. The 2000 yard players besides him did it in 16 or 17 games. OJ did it in 14 games as the seasons were shorter. I even went back to Jim Brown in his 12 games as the seasons, and he didn’t run as much on a per game basis. I should add I’m aware Jim Brown didn't accomplish 2000+ yards, but I’m looking at a season divided by games for an entire season, and the most on avg. per game for a season so that is how I did the math.
  21. Well he deserved it and should win OPOW.
  22. It’s a valuable tool. From what I saw was executed well.
  23. Not if everyone just considers this the receptacle for all trades for the next short period of time.
  24. Im so sorry for him. Sounds like an impactful, and talented player., my god the giants are bitten.
