  1. Unless we basically run the table and go 7-0, we have zero chance of the playoffs. I still want to see us have a winning record, and really the only hope which is such an outside chance is Harvin looks explosive after the bye, Watkins back at the earliest possible time and is full speed, McCoy keeps his hamstring healthy, and Dareus's fat butt finally gets in shape and plays at a high level That's much to ask is it?
  2. It is ridiculous the Taxi Lobby can keep Uber out of NYS. It's great down here in FL. I wonder if someone in a few years does a study to see if it reduced DUI's in those states. If you really want Uber in NY, get MADD and SADD, on your side as they have a powerful lobby and no Senator wants to piss them off.
  3. Finally someone uses a font I can read without my glasses. Just kidding 26 CB
  4. Has anyone scouted the high schools for 2022? Just. checking.
  5. Going out to buy a bottle of jaeger right now. Glug glug glug.
  6. Not trying to be. Negative nelly, but how much are you letting rusty guy, who is a rookie get in with Hughes, and LORAX. Hughes has 4 sacks, and Lorax has 8, leading the league, and the team 2nd in the NFL. He is getting some rotational work giving the other two a break, but the liklihood of a sack in his first game is a long shot, no yes, I know how long Tannehill holds the ball. I do think. He will be a star in the making. LO is 33. Ride him as long as possible with the fountain of youth and he'll get eased in just like Ragland next year, and Adolfis this year.
  7. Somebody please cue the Adam Sandler clip. That is the dumbest I've ever heard and we are dumber for hearing it. You guys who think EJ has any trade value are in fantasy land. Hell, Romo has little trade value who when healthy is fantastic, but he is old, and often injured.
  8. I would save Pittsburgh as you can use that powerhouse later. Does anyone earl thine won't beat the 49ers? Last year, I would be worried as our team just read their press clippings. It seems from all interviews these guys are talking like winners meaning they are not looking ahead and are not pounding their chest. I'm petty confident in next week, but after a five game winning no streak can Rex keep these guys humble and just get to business with the Pats in our house.
  9. BADOL- what I wonder is how many games will shady be basically the dpsavior of the offense before you finally admit you were wrong even to some small degree, because now you look like your just digging your heals in the sand. You have that right, but if he plays 16 games like this you'll have serious egg on your face for two years of bashing him.
  10. I'm not crazy about how he chooses to protest, but it has brought attention to the topic,so he's accomplished one goal. He absolutely has the right to do it. Whether I think he should join coalitions against black violence or oppression are my ideas, not his and that is ok.
  11. Henderson was activated today so let those two (Mills) duke it out in practice. They can also rotate if one is gassed. Great place to be. Just likeShq Lawson is now a luxury given Alexander now leads the league in sacks. Lawson should be back in two weeks.
  12. Cool guys, and for those who don't know what we do in Medical Device Sales, as I've been in it for 18 years, and management for 10. These surgeons or interventionalists like Orthos, Interventional Cardiologists, GI's, Neuro Rads (the brain guys), and so on when they have cases, they text or have their assistant contact the rep for his availability for a case. If he's taken up, and needed, will rearrange the case for the rep to be there. We in some cases see more per week by all the docs than them. That's medicine. Routine cases yer as a courtesy, but years ago when I did carotid stent interventions, many of the docs may only do 12 a year as too o many other types of interventions. I support 5-7 per week. I get films sent to me, no HIPPA names so I don't know who is the person, nor do I care. I just always cared about helping my doctor and have a good outcome for the patient. Every time I'm on a plane and someone asks me what I do they are dumbfounded how many reps are in these cases. So when one or two accomplished Ortho reps make the statements they made above, I'll take them at their word as they know more than I do about these fractures. I'm just saying listen to these guys. They know what they are talking about.
  13. They could have fixed the GH testing years ago, but ignored it. The Olympics have been doing DNA, hair testing forever. You can't get around it, and if your using GH, you'll get caught. Just look at some of these guys. They aren't that size on hard work alone. I'm a skeptic as I was a national level power lifter for 14 years. I know what looks like clean and when to call BS. If really enforced and they nail everyone who's been taking GH in the off season, what happens in suspensions, and the size of some of these guys. Anyway, it's game day so Go Bills!!!!
  14. It would be great to have Darius healthy today, but I'm glad Rex is sitting him get it worked out, and we need him or realllyhe Dolphins. If he can play next week great but I want him 100%. We need him in a rhythm for the Patriots the the two games after. Worthy and Bryant are laying really well right now. It would also be great to have Lawson out there for the Dolphins just in a rotational basis, but Alexander is playing like he's 24 years old.
  15. So that's basically a 9.9 year win season avg. for 23 years including any bad years, he basically was almost always a 10+ win team for his career. I want his luck if anyone is asking that position. The man is in the freakin HOF, with very few GM's in that club.
  16. Every game I've attended which is usuallly in the upper decks as i'm not local, but even when I grew up in Buffalo, Bills fans are smart. Shut up on offense so you can hear a pin drop. It's funny I remember some dumb fans screaming and whole section shhhs them, "hey offense". On defense I can't ever remember sitting once. Smacking the metal chair in front of you screaming as hard as possible in the huddle and the LOS and then let it play out.
  17. Not the sarcasm, but I'm with Weo. You have to look at his late round drafts,, free agents, and trades in Buffalo, Carolina, Anne Indianapolis. Kind of surprised Mike you would start his thread
  18. Crazy why. You've said nothing. What do you mean?
  19. Exactly. 30% sounds about right. Hughes and Alexander stay fresh, and he gets experience and confidence. Sees NFL game time experience. Alexander would be a good mentor with his years of experience. Light play in the Dolphins and if he looks good, put a wrinkle in for the Pats game.
  20. Banker - You officially get my vote as the funniest poster on TBD. I belly laugh more from some of your editorials than anyone else. So I'm going to say what I've always opposed because I never want to see a guy get really hurt and still maintain that premise, but launching like a missile at thatShoulder to Garroppolo not seriously injure but just inflame that bruised should so much he can't play. Then keep hitting Brisset until they have to go to Edelman. Again, a thumb injury shouldn't be that bad, at most a ligament repair and back to full strength. I've never subscribed to the whole blow out Brady's knee thing. That's reprehensible, but these two going out for two weeks and are healthy as Tom's back next week. It's all about running against that tough Patriots defense. Powell impressed me last week with Woods and they out physicaled a very physical team. Can we pick off these back up QB's like Gilmore did last week. I'm hoping all of these questionable are back in today.
  21. I disagree with these people who keep wanting fired. Bill Polian always states on his radio show, "ok, who's better". I haven't heard that answer. Look at his full body of work. Corey Glenn, Kiki was amazing his first year, Darby, Miller, and even Karlos was fantastic last year. Whaleyhas zero to do with injuries. He most likely expects Shaq Lawson will come back healthy and could be a great contributor for years. Ragland''s knee? How about the Hughes trade? For every miss, there are more hits. Washington has looked sharp out there. Whaley didn't hire Rex, the Pegulas and Brandon did that gambling on increased media presence and ticket sales. If last week was not an anomaly, but a the at will a physical, fast and game plan well, i'm in a wait and see mode. If we keep firing front offices and coaching every couple years, please take a look down the road in Lake Erie, and we should rename ourselves the Browns Light, or the Dolphins. Look how Cindy stuck with Lewis. You can say they hadn't won a playoff, but have been there for six years straight. I like how Shad Khan recognized, they had a poorly talented team and has given the front office (my St. Francis graduate) Caldwell, and Bradley four years. Caldwell has brought in a lot of talent. They should be performing this year. They are not so to me, at the end of the season, Khan fires Bradley, but keeps Caldwell. Let it play out guys. This team has nothing to do with the one 7 years ago, 10 years ago, and 16 years ago. There is no correlation. Other than Brandon. When he makes football decisions, that makes no sense. See the 2000's. He has done a masterful job regionalizing the fan base, marketing in an economically depressed area, selling as many boxes as he can itch no Fortune 400 companies in the area. Record setting season tickets for a team with no playoffs in 16 years. The Pegulas screwed up in not letting the GM find his person, because then you can hold him responsible for the results. Remember, Rex reports directly to the Pegulas. I'm happy to look at the end of the year if a nightmare, and if they have to clean house, then so be it. If they go 9-7, with a much harder schedule, you give Doug and Rex one more year. After three years as the Bills coach, he can't do it, then you've given all parties ample time to improve a team. Remember guys, we have two hurt QB's in NE. I know how good Belicheck is as a coach, but we just handed it to the Cardinals they went 13-3 last year, and a coach in BA, who took a team 5-11, to a playoff team in one year and another two. If we win tomorrow, we have the Rams, 49ers, and Fins. We could conceivably be 5-2. Nothing's a given, we really have to win these three to have a chance. After that we have tough, tough sledding with NE, Cincy, and Seattle, and eventually Pittsburgh when they typically get hot. Don't give up guys yet. Stop thinking we're dead man walking. In about four weeks we'll know.
  22. I always thought he would do the day treatment thing. I was in psych a long time ago, over 18 years, and probable went to day treatment and was tested every morning. He may be ok.
