  1. Bill - I'm Dan from Tampa on that show and you must have heard my rant. I also added on an e-mail, to him Hogan had. Hurt wrist last year he kept hidden. I've never been negative on Whaley, but I'm getting there. Ross and Booger were laughing at me adding to how stupid this decision is for the team. We have to hope McDermitt exemplifies some common sense.
  2. Funny as player after player retired and active for the Patriots always say they work on the fundamentals daily. Maybe that's the difference between the great teams and the mediocre ones. Just remember though this is one guy's opinion. Also, if I'm in the NFL and I'm fighting for the big second contract, after a month off to heal, I would work non-Stop at conditioning and technique on my own dime. Very few players ever get to a third contract.
  3. Everyone thought after three games Carson Wentz walked on water, then the Eagles came back to Earth. The Rams are probably regretting that trade last year. It is just as big of a risk on the top two QB prospects this year with teams ahead of us needing QB's. I don't see any other option but to sign the contract and give him a chance to keep improving. Remember he didn't have squat to throw to most of the season. If we take an excellent WR at 10, and possibly sign Floyd in the off season, we'd have a nice crew and can make a better decision on TT.
  4. WR and Safety if they resign, Z Brown, Gilmore, and TT. I didn't think OT as CK played well at LT at the end of he year to move Glenn to RT.
  5. Love to see it happen with PB, and Ragland, it could be a solid front seven.
  6. I honestly don't know why so many people get outraged by this game. I maybe watch 10 minutes of it each year, as I could care less. I'm just glad they moved it to Orlando as more regular fans can go so the little guys get to see their favorite player. Nice father / son trip.
  7. Nothing compared to the Pat Summerall broadcasts towards the end. I still remember 20 years ago, he was reporting "at the conclusion of this broadcast there will be 60 minutes, and then Murder....................She Wrote" Funny as I was single in my early twenties living with four guys drinking watching football, and even drunk we knew he was drunk.
  8. BF68 - that was discussed to death yesterday on NFR, and a caller made the same suggestion. James Lofton responded with asking him the avg salary of a player playing in the PB. He said $750-800,000. James respond with try $7 mil. They can't incentivize them enough. Lofton went on to point out the extra activities could be good like dodge ball. The PB is not meant to be a championship game rather just some entertainment and hopefully get to interact with some of the players. It was mentioned it was a very good decision to move it to Orlando as more football fans can afford to go, and more players will like going as they can take their kids to the parks, etc. We had a conflict this year, but will take my younger son next year since i live an hour away. At least they went back to AFC vs. NFC.
  9. They might as well turn it back to that 70's show on ABC, I think it was called the Super Stars where LT and Mark Gastineau did that military press, and the obstacle course stuff. AFC vs. NFC We can see if Watt really is the strongest guy in the NFL. That would be fun to watch.
  10. Don't forget to come into camp each year completely fat, dumb and lazy, and have to be on the sidelines like a dunce riding a bike, and doing sit ups.
  11. I feel bad for people like my dad who is 86, goes to 6:30 am mass each day and reads the paper cover to cover over breakfast. I'm 49 and receive most of my information digitally. Civilization moves on though, and just think what was common that is obsolete now, like the typewriter, beepers, and fax machines.
  12. I cannot wait to see Atlanta beat the Cheats by 20. My favorite parts will be BB throwing his tablet into the garbage can like when we won, and Brady throwing so many tantrums on the sidelines when their line doesn't have an answer for Beasley. A man can wish. Then Big Ben can tweet, "hey Pats, you're 4 for 9. We're 6 for 7! See you Next year"
  13. McDermitt is making sound decisions on paper as he is surrounding himself with very experienced assistant coaches, who have a lot of playoff experience. Let's hope Dougey fresh puts the right 53 together. I'm not as hard on him as many of you I'm just going to let it unfold.
  14. That May was the year I met my wife. She's put up with a suffering Bills fan for dry long time.
  15. Agreed. Everyone complaining about TT, I don't hear any better answers at QB. The top two in the draft won't be there as their stock will go up as you get closer to the draft like the last few years. Romo is one hit from retirement, and Washington will never let Cousins walk. So what is the solution? Hint, hint, there is none. We were 7th in scoring. The problem Mcdermitt needs to fix is the defense, and we did it a couple of years ago. Overall, Pettiness defense was good, but 28th against the run. Schwartz saw our talent and fixed it. I see Frazier getting a lot more out of these players plus what we do in the draft. We really need one to two durable WR, and two Safeties.
  16. I'd love to see the Falcons crucify them, but not as much as #3 with Brady crapping his pants. Go Birds!
  17. Thanks to the OP. I've lived in Tampa for 26 years, but I will die a BUFFALO Bills fan. I hank the Wilson family who mad aautely sure the Bills stayed in Buffalo, was so generous in their. Donations to Buffalo and Detroit, and for thePegulas who had the wealth too keep h teams in Buffalo. It's part of what defines our city. There is a learning curve for new owners to professional sports teams, and one thing I didn't know (learn d in the Graham article with the Pegulas) was they own the lacrosse team as well. They are truly invested in winning, and are doing the best they can to put a good product on the field. Did you guys notice how much distance they tried to put between Brandon and coaching decisions, after the rumor of him telling the Pegulas not to let Rexleave the building. We're going to fine in time, and just let it play out. The coaching staff hired to date looks sharp. They are what I always wanted in a staff. We'll see, and no peculation on my part.
  18. The are only two logical reasons we don't be an OC. First, he is part of one of the staff for the finL four playoff teams, or there is such a toxic air of Buffalo, people don't want to come here. I believe the former, not the latter.
  19. Barely the off season and we already have a dumb thread about trading for Rivers, Rothlesberger, Rodgers, Brady, Manning coming out of retirement. Didn't take long.
  20. Yeezus, you may have not noticed we haven't hired and offensive coordinator yet, and most likely because we're looking for one of the hot talented guys who are in the playoffs. Leslie Frazier is a good defensive coordinator, just not a head coach like Wade, coach 0-16 Marinelli who has gotten the most out of Dallas. Frazier in two different teams was a top coordinator, and Mc Dermitt has been a stud for over. 8 years on two teams. Juan Castillo is an excellent offensive line coach so I do not understand you're thread. Agree to disaree and this team has nothing to do with years f 17-14 years ago. Forget it. Just like this Dallas team has nothing to do with the one who won the SB three times in the 90's.
  21. The only way the Texans win is if Brady rolls an ankle, and Garrapolo on the next play. Otherwise this will make last week's games look exciting. The other pics are possible. I think we have three toss up games where with side can win. The Texans have absolutely no chance.
