  1. and Tums. Maybe a little Xanax at some point (kidding).
  2. I always had the upmost respect for Sam. Innovative offensive mind. Buffalo fans often think we started the no huddle game as was done so well in those days, but Sam was doing it Cincy in the 80’s, and I believe although they lost, think they made it two SB. Wasn’t easy to beat SF and Montana back then. RIP Sam.
  3. Bills 34, I’m betting the State would cough up half if the Pegulas basically will revitalize the downtown area, and probably build a couple more hotels. I may be delusional, but if I were Terry and Kim, I’d go to Goodell and say we’ll build this and invest in this area, but you have to cough up a SB in the future. I couldn’t agree more than a Lucas Oil stadium although I’d love for it to be retractable so when Miami comes up in December we open the roof. By 2023, we should have four winning seasons, and much more national coverage. Good take though bud.
  4. Even though on TV, our Bills Backers Bar on Saturday is having a 5th party at 2pm, so the Labatts will be flowing, wings cooking, and so on. Can’t wait to watch with 200+ crazy Bills mafia fans.
  5. Metaphorically, I never “aim to shoot the dog”. ( my old manager used to use that West Virginian phrase). You always aim high as an athlete. With a humiliating loss to the Titans Saturday, let’s hope B & B retire, and then we own the AFCE with more talent in free agency and the draft. Nothing less than 10 wins every year. We get our next Tomlin meaning a winning coach and Mgmt for over a decade, and bring pride back to this great city. We want teams afraid to play Buffalo in New Era field and the next stadium as that is coming in there to four years. I certainly hope we repeat Seattle’s architecture so wind is cut down, the noise level is deafening, and the partial roof cuts down on the snow and rain for fans.
  6. Couldn't agree more Old Time. I’ve been banging that drum for a while in the draft.
  7. 1959, after we win Saturday, I’m going to toast everyone and just enjoy Henry pounding it down the Pats throat. I hope they f%#&k are so embarrassed in such a humiliating loss. Then one of you guys can copy and paste the Pats fan thread so we all can laugh hearing them cry.
  8. 1959, well written. I would add if you looked at NO, SF as well as Baltimore all have a balanced attack, and all have a stout defense.
  9. Dab thanks for sharing. A little silly but funny. Happy New Years everyone.
  10. I’m guessing BeNe already has a list if Daboll does leave. Virgil, you have great posts especially you’re post game breakdowns, but I don’t know what’s wrong with the dad from ‘That 70’s Show’.
  11. Agreed on Yeldon. I like Duke, but there must be a reason why they are not activating him.
  12. just heard on NFLR. Too bad as he did some good things. Harlem is turning into the next Snyder.
  13. I read some of those twitter posts, and one of the guys makes a point that he has collected pretty good talent, just royally screwed the pooch on a coaching hire. I wouldn’t fire him, but I would make him use one consultant groups for advice about who to consider hiring.
  14. Sounds like they want potentially McDaniels, or Roman. McDaniels probably won’t take any of these jobs because Brady will probably be gone so Belicheck will leave. Roman can make sense, but he does really well with mobile QB’s like in SF, even Buffalo, and now the Ravens. I wouldn’t be surprised if they draft another QB.
  15. Yep Hemma, but unfortunately Wallace is still out and the good news is he only twisted his ankle, not broken. Let’s hope he can play, but if not if we win, I expect him back for the divisional round. Thank god we grabbed Johnson this off season.
  16. As far as the Titans game, the Pats have a great defense, but Henry will plow over people and wear them down. Besides the Titans will be on the field longer keeping Brady on the bench. I’m not a betting person, if I was, I would pick the Titans especially however many points they get from Vegas.
  17. Process, you are absolutely right in their draft pics, but by giving away their Tackle, etc. They have a lot of players to replace so I respectfully disagree (I know you make very good takes) as when you have approximately $108 mil, and have to spend 88% of their cap although can maneuver it. My point simply is they are going to plug a couple of holes in free agency. Not a spending spree, but strategically plugging a couple of holes.
  18. As far as Marrone, we did have to suffer with Rex for two years, but now we have one of the best tandems in the league in McD and Beane, but as far as Marrone’s coaching skills, they leave a lot to be desired. Khan will get sick of him either now or next year.
  19. Tickets are at a decent price. I wish I could go, but have a work conflict. I’ll have to settle on the Bills Backers Bar in Brandon. Cheer loudly.
  20. I forgot one last thing, the Dolphins will have $98 mil next year and given the history, everyone will increase by $10 mil. That is a lot of $ to extend contracts and strategically get some decent free agents.
  21. I see the Dolphins rebuilding, but could be ascending if they draft well. As long as Gase is the coach, the Jets will suck.
  22. I've heard the same on Movin the Chains. They were banging that drum for two years. They believe the league can make more $ for them and the players by a 17 game season, less pre-season games, and one more wildcard team. They proved over the last six years the 7th seed would still have winning record. Yep, they did say dressing all 53 makes sense and I agree with all of their points. The solution for the 17th game would be played at a neutral site to increase NFL interest in either othe markets in the US, and OUS. This way every team still gets 8 home games. I know I hate when we have to play one of our home games in London.
  23. I remember the Buffalo News cover the next day with this pic, stating "End of an Era".
