The title is a little misleading as I’ve listened now to two interviews with the NFLR analysts, and it’s not that he wants this to happen, but Ross has been so open about his plan. Salguero is just piecing together what he has heard and interviewed people on and off the record. Ross isn’t doing himself many favors by talking so publicly about his plan. I’m not Necessarily disagreeing with rebuilding tE team, but he’s doing himself no favors selling tickets next year with these statements. The new coach hopefully asked for a long term contract to put up with these proclamations.

The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019
machine gun kelly replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Former,y, I see you’re point, but I referenced those two as Tate has great hands and route running, and will be excellent over the middle, as well as leadership to these young guys, and a tandem of Brown and Foster will work well for Allen’s arm. The other two are obvious as our interior will be relatively set, and we can pick up Tackles in the draft where it is deep this year. Just one man’s opinion, but I do see you’re point. It usually takes time for WR to develop out of the draft, and these two an contribute this year, and not break the bank. -
The Top 50 NFL Free Agents Of 2019

Paradis Saffold Tate J Brown That’s my picks and draft the rest and fill out the depth after the draft as there are always depth players after the draft if you can find them. If I remember correctly, Foster was undrafted free agent. -
I don’t why people want to overpay for a possible injury risk Tackle, especially since G and C are cheaper, and as stated above the draft is rich with Tackles. Our interior is the greatest need where we can build a great running program to counter the Pass. Bottom line is Tackles cost a ton of money right behind QB’s,WR, and Pass Rushers. we can get those more expensive players in the draft on the cheap, and fortify the positions of need. Remember we need around $5 mil for the draft, $5 mil for an emergency fund, and save some cap space for who we extend the following year to keep players here for the long haul. Just one of them will be T. White in 2020. He is a lockdown CB. Even if the cap increases to $90 mil, that is $15-20 mil off the top, so use the money carefully as Beane stated in the letter to season ticket holders. We’re not going to blow even $80 mil in this free agency. Maybe $60 mil. Wouldn’t it be more prudent to get a Paradis, C, and two WR, or a TE and WR?

RG John Miller - stay or go?
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. He would be decent depth, but hasn’t as you’ve mentioned in the last two years performed as a starting Guard. -
Would you trade a high 2020 draft choice for AB?
machine gun kelly replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I originally thought, yes, but he would never fit here, nor would he probably want to come here. -
Do You Still Wear Zubaz?

Funny as when I fly up for a game, I love seeing the Zumba and all of the other traditional garb. My very close friend from Jax (previous employee of mine) went to the game with me, I made sure to take him to the lot where it was all Bills fans. I’m sure there were others, but I had to say over and over again, South Park Ave. St Francis grad. They were just razzing him, not like a Philly fan. He’s a real wise#@$, and he said to me, “I grew up in MN during their heyday, and I’ve never seen fans like you guys. He couldn’t believe the score of NYS plates driving down for the game. I told him, “Now do you believe me we have the most rabid, craziest fans in the NFL”. He relucatantly agreed. He referred to maybe I should become a Bills fan, and the Zumba’s were in full force. I love this team and love the fans even more. if I was in Buffalo, I probably would by a pair. -
Until we see what happens in free agency, it’s impossible to predict the draft for any team. That’s why i’ll wait until we’re close to the draft and all the first and second tier URFA are gone we’ll have a better prediction on potential daft picks. What I can state is my hope we pick up an excellent C, G, and either two WR or a TE and a WR. I pray we take a Tackle with our top pick whether it’s 9, 15, or 20. Have a good day guys.

Better options out there if you look at the posted lists in other articles of URFA.

Augie - you always bring up a good point on Haslam. Unless he does a 180 and let the football people make the decisions, and give coaching and Mgmt at least three years to improve. He hasn’t shown to do that, but maybe he’s learned his lesson and they do have a lot of talent. i’m very Pleased with the OP, who is positive about this team. I only disagree it will be probably at least 2 years before the Pats start going down. Brady probably by 43 should feel it enough plus pressure from his wife to retire. By then Belicheck will be 68 and at some point will want to get to his next step in life. Unless they find another Garropolo which is not easy, they will go down. i agree about the future tough teams in the playoffs. It is tough to predict, but I believe the Pegulas learned their lesson with Rex, and have made very good decisions since that time. Thanks again for the optimistic attitude. I hope you’re right.

We should have never tried to get him on the cheap, and he did perform at NE for awhile. I wouldn’t want him back as we have much more attractive URFA out there this year if not resigned by their respective teams.

Rex Ryan and Charles Clay
machine gun kelly replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Always great to talk about hindsight from a fool, and liar himself. Who cares what he reported on ESPN. He always states self serving remarks to make himself look better as both HC ended up in flames. I agree though that Clay hasn’t worked out and we paid for it like so many others under Whaley. -
Super Bowl game day thread
machine gun kelly replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rams have been money in the second half. I would wait before the shoo the Pats win again. You may be right, I may be crazy, but a lunatic is what you’re looking for. Couldn’t help the Joel reference. Actually a great game at 3-0 at 3 minutes left in the first half. We’ll see who ends up winning second half adjustments. -
2019 HOF Class announced/NFL Honors ceremony

Boselli only played 5 years, but I know they accepted Davis too. He’ll probably get put in next year as a bunch of 1st ballots the following year, first of all Manning. -
What confuses me is the repeated talk about a pass rusher. My reasoning is simple. Offense 30th Rushing 9th Pass 31 Defense 2nd Rushing 16th (We we’re hovering between 9th and 10th until the Cheats gashed us for I think 273 yards) Pass 1st We have Murphy and Lawson on one side and 55 on the other. Now we are desperate for an OL, WR, and TE’s. Maybe in a later round more depth with Rushers or an eventual replacement for Alexander, and a CB. I know a lot will be handled in free agency, but not everything. Excellent Tackles, and even interior lineman unless a cap casualty, and Tackles are more expensive then interior lineman. I agree Dawkins will improve, but we made a terrible mistake in trying to make Richie take a pay cut when he was blowing holes for Shady. Look at between Wood, RI, how many runs came off Center. I know he went crazy, but he seems to do that when he doesn’t have anything to do. Anyway, that is my two cents. I know pass rushers are awesome, but we have far more important needs.

We deserve to see a terrible Brady
machine gun kelly replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now that’s funny. I doubt he’ll be terrible, let’s hope Darnold and Suh wreak havoc on TB. That will cause picks or sacks. I’d would take the penalty anyway for Suh to pancake TB. He has the disposition for it. Thanks for the laugh with the pic. -
There is a good chance the Giants, Lions, and Jax could pick QB’s. If that is the case I don’t see Washington trading up, but the Steelers might. If 1 or 2 don’t take a QB, then I can see a trade with Washington. Even though Beane wasn’t officially in last year’s draft, you can bet he had advised McDermot, b/c the only reason Whaley was fired before the draft, McD would not want him to give up knowledge of Buffalo’s board. I say this b/c based on last year, we traded down and up to get their guys. I still think it was a good draft, so you can most likely expect movement both ways to get the best players. To go down, one of these teams must covet the available player. We’ll see. I can only imagine how stressful that day is for the staff.

Funny this was discussed on MTC with Pat Kirwan and Mills. Pat made the argument from Foles perspective he’d want to get on the free market, but Kirwan stated why wouldn’t they pay Foles, b/c it would be a total of $24 mil towards the QB position and Weitzel was hurt the last two years even though he is dynamic. They discussed that if Wentz keeps playing reckless with his body, they have to have an excellent back up. we’ll see as some team that really needs a QB, will pay up like the Jags, or Dolphins, or even Tampa if Arians wants to move on from Winston.

2019 HOF Class announced/NFL Honors ceremony
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it is a good list. I was listening to NFLR and 93% of the top 10 eventually get in at some point. The timing is from 1970 to present per John Clayton. As far as Kevin Mawae, he went to 9 Pro Bowls when players always and 2 All Pro and didn’t miss a game in 10 years. I do agree with the above poster, I’d love for his family’s sake, and he earned it Kent Hull to get a yellow jacket.
