Mini-Camp: A James Cook Barometer
machine gun kelly replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m in the camp as some others. Let him play out his rookie contract this year. Tag him in 2026, and draft one in the 2nd or 3rd rd in the 2026 draft. I wouldn’t do an extension for him. You have to be the complete deal to get an extension like a Barkley, or Henry. There so few RB’s who can do it all. -
You guys know they flipped to Udacy a few years ago, and as far as content on WGR, that’s in the eye of the beholder. I don’t mind the Jeremy and Joe morning show, and when Sal does the extra point show, he’s interesting to me. I work in medical sales so I’m in the car in and out all day. I’ll never listen to the afternoon show as they are bafoons. I usually switch to the Movin the Chains guys in the afternoon. Besides, Steve Tasker can’t finish a thought so that’s painful. Besides, it’s certainly better than all the hot take silliness on the sports tv stations.

He’s washed up. He’s not doing anything for the Steelers.

Exactly, and would add Pitts over three years only caught 55% of his targets, and hasn’t improved after his rookie year. In Kinkaid’s case he’s never had knee problems prior to last year, but admitted this summer he had knee injuries to both knees and tried playing through it. He also had more receptions for a TE his rookie year than any Buffalo Bill in 65 years.

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
machine gun kelly replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey, if you guys want to speculate fine, it for me, some areas of an athlete’s life that have nothing to do with football, is none of my business. My only comment is Josh and Hailee, congratulations on your nuptials, and may you live a long and wonderful married life. I hope the public and can respect you’re wishes for privacy on such a special day. Besides from future Childrens birth p, this will be one of the most important days of youre life. -
619, thank you for sharing and these accomplishments do matter. These arguments that everything is meaningless without a title is silly. Sure, the OP even states he wants a title like the rest of us. I guess some have such a lack of gratitude for what we have done, they magically forget 17 years of languishing in misery. Also the mid 80’s where we were winning 2-3 games a season. I’m 57 amd I remember all of the agony and humiliation of admitting to people from other areas being a Bills fan. I pray during football season each morning along with prayers for my family and dear friends that we finally win the big one. I pray, but understand those who choose not to do so as that is their prerogative. Go Bills!

Tyreek Hill: Understands CTE

Zoidster, I don’t do the redhead thing. Girl next door, who secretly is a freak or at least that was my fantasy in the late 70’s when I developed hormones. Im glad you shared though. -
Ross Tucker interview of Michael Hoecht
machine gun kelly replied to Commish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Before that,he was the host of the early morning show on NFLR from 6-8am, then with Bob Papa on the morning drive from 8-11am, until he ticked off someone on the company and was abruptly gone. I used to call into him regularly and was always fun to talk to about Bills stuff or NFL topics. He has lost a ton of weight. It’s smart as 300+ lbs. is not good for someone’s health in the long run. By the way, most of these guys stopped using steroids post college, and converted to GHB as it clears the system faster. I only know this when I was competing they would urine, lie detector, and for the nationals hair test you. They don’t do lie detector anymore. That’s why the NFL Players Union fought hair testing for so long. -
Tyreek Hill: Understands CTE

Good catch Dawk. That’s exactly what I was thinking of in Sgt. Schultz. I know Nossing, I see Nossing. As a kid I loved watching the reruns of Hogan’s Heroes on Ch. 29. That along with Star Trek, The Brady Bunch, The Munsters, Adams Family, and Gillian’s Island. That was a long 3hr. Cruise. The real question is Ginger or Marianne. I was a Marianne guy. -
You can’t tell by the look on a guy’s face whether he is tough. Heck I looked like an alter boy when younger, but was a state champ wrestler, national champ Powerlifter, and bounced in some of the worst roadhouses. That aw shucks look an be in youre favor. Now I truly am just a middle aged man who enjoys working out to be healthy. My hitting days are long gone. Besides my joints are that of a 68 yr old more than decade older than my age from the powerlifting. The body isn’t meant to do that stuff. If he behaves like Deon back in the day, afraid to tackle people then make all the assertions you want as you have a body if work. The Utah posters states he’s tough, so that’s good enough for me. Last year he didn’t have a full off season due to injury,so another year in McD’s defense he’ll probably take the next step. Look how Spencer Brown evolved over three years.

We probably won’t see him until training camp. I don’t care if he heals up properly. We have so many weak opponents this year, I wouldn’t even play him except games like the Ravens, Eagles, Chiefs, Bucs, Texans, and Bengals. He’s not needed for division games the Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Browns etc.

There is an article on the main board this morning how he had two knee injuries, had to have surgery and rehab. Supposedly it hampered his ability to increase strength and size. That makes sense and now even if healthy will never gain the weight needed to be an explosive TE. I’m sure he can still have an impact , but he’s not going to be Travis Kelce in his prime this year.

He’s a POS. Don’t give him the time of day. Bye bye loser. You did Nossing last year. -
Jake, thanks for not only providing the link, but also typing out each injury. I’m sure in the link it will detail games missed for each injury. Beane knows it s a gamble on Bosa, but potentially worth it.

They are Colorado. My wife maybe the most patriotic American as she knows the difference as she lived for 33 years. My wife wept with me when I played at 6 am on YouTube “I’m proud to be an American”. She know sacrifice and loves our country. Makes me love her even more as she knows I’m a patriot. I get the warts, but there is no country better than ours. Enjoy your day bud. She called an audible on me not burgers, but made home made pizza and she’s happy as a clam. The old phrase happy wife, yadadyada.

Well written as I woke up thinking the same. I’ve not lost a family member due to war, but had a number of uncles and my dad serve during wartime. For two of my uncles and my father, it was the Korean War. For another uncle, Vietnam. They all came home, but lost friends over there in two wars. I pledged decades ago, I would go to church not necessarily for mass as I just went yesterday, but somehow has meaning to me to sit in a pew for a few minutes and pray for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I do it every year on Memorial Day. We just finished breakfast so getting ready to leave now. Thank you to the people on this board who served. I firmly believe all of us appreciate youre service and sacrifices to protect our freedoms. The last couple of years I’m constantly reminded how wonderful it is to live here as my wife emigrated from China 9 years ago, and has shared privately many times what it was like living in a communist nation. She sacrificed everything to get her kids, my stepsons to grow up in a free society. God bless this country we hold so dear. Enjoy those burgers and dogs today all and hug you’re kids.

Von Released, Frees Up $8.4M Cap Space
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey I liked Miller, but he’s done. He should work on his emerging mgmt career, and wish him the best of luck. Our guy from Tampa eventually was able to do it in John Lynch. He was a helluva safety for the Bucs in the defensive heyday and worked his way into mgmt as he’s an incredibly bright and approachable guy. He was always nice to fans in Tampa as a player. I met him several times, and maybe Von can follow that path as well over the next decade. -
K, I’m sorry for your loss if you liked that show. For me, the only shows I enjoy on ESPN is NFL Matchup, and the MNF shows prior to the games. The rest to me is garbage. Greg Cosell does a heck of a job on matchup as it’s a beautiful breakdown of key games each week during the season. I don understand loss as I really enjoyed the FBI shows and two were cancelled last week along with Blue Bloods and SWAT. Some of these networks are idiots.

NFL players to the Olympics in Flag Football?
machine gun kelly replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
BN, Metcalf was traded to the Steelers as an fyi. I agree with your supposition speed and elusiveness matter more than anything else. I coached my kids in a competitive flag league for 7 years alternating with tackle. Lamar is the better choice over Josh in this league. As far as RB’s, they aren’t used as much, but if they keep one or two, you want Cook as he has breakaway speed. Henry and other bruisers even with speed are not as needed. You want speed at all positions along with great hand ey control. Pulling a flag at full speed against elusive players is not as easy as one thinks. -
You asked, and they listened… (Bills on Hallmark)

He may well be best known for the Sopranos, but has also been a principle character from Seasons 6-15 on the #1 show in the nation in Blue Bloods. That’s also network tv with a much larger audience than HBO. I never used to have HBO so never had the pleasure of seeing it, so for me he’s always going to be Anthony Abidimarco, DA investigator for Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynihan), and has more scenes than I can say with Frank Reagan, the police commissioner (Tom Selleck) and Danny Reagan (Donny Wahlberg). Anyway, I like the guy, but another guy from the Sopranos had an often part as the NYS Attorney General, Michael Imperioli. He plays the character of Robert Lewis. Given I’m Irish Catholic from Buffalo amd have lots of family in law enforcement up there, I always enjoyed Blue Bloods, as the show was more about family and traditions,, than just a cop/legal show. Whoops sorry guys, it duplicated. -
I wish one of you would copy the pic as I don’t have Facebook, nor do I ever want to get on any social media. I’m on LinkedIn for business purposes, and here. That’s it. Before I married and was dating, I had to do Snapchat or Instagram out of necessity, but have since dropped them.

They do seem a likeable bunch, but someone needs to teach these boys how to eat a wing. Flats for sure, but they are not twisting and breaking the wing then sucking off each side. Someone needs to give these guys a tutorial.

Hans from Diehard? I know Ridge, Hans and Franz from SNL. I just read Hans and automatically thought about Diehard. Now give me my detonators.
