There are definitely those that find irrational ways to poop on the team, because they done want their heart broken. What’s more likely though are fans of the Cheats, Fish, and Jests, who pretend to be Bills fans to crap on our site. That is much more prevalent. It’s hard sometimes to discern between the two. I really try to ignore them, but every once in awhile, they just annoy the heck out if me which is what they want.

Raiders fire GM Telesco after 1 year
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not as funny as Denis Leary was in “The Ref”. “ God, I freaking kidnapped my parents”. My wife laughed hysterically watching that around Xmas. -
I don’t care about the towels either way, but if it keeps fans from slapping their seats, clapping, etc along with the screaming for so much crowd noise Nix has problems. He hasn’t played in a raucous crowd like ours in the NFL. Maybe in college, but he’s dealing with the Mafia this Sunday. I remember I received a Bills towel several years ago at the home opener, and made for a good hand towel in my car.

Raiders fire GM Telesco after 1 year
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
They all went to St. Francis like myself, but they all played for St. John Fisher in college football (D3). Caldwell, Telesco, C. Polian were all buds, kind of close, but not the same year as Daboll. Polian was in homeroom with one of my cousins for four years as Frannies does homeroom alphabetically. Then they split off based on their academic abilities. My brother and every cousin went to Frannies so have some history. They’ve all lost their jobs as of recently, but doesn’t mean they may not regain these positions in other places. I didn’t know them. -
Chris Spielman to interview for Jet's GM position
machine gun kelly replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought it was wife’s breast cancer that was the end for him.. if memory serves, he chose his marriage over his career. I was proud of his choice, but I’m sure the concussions and other matter also contributed to it. The bottom line is is he’s been in some way in the front office for awhile, so if deserved, good for him. I’m a fan as well at least as a player. -
First, I hope Californians stay safe as that smoke is toxic. If I was making the call, I’d give the teams fans time to reroute plans just call it’s AZ. God knows we had to reroute two regular season games, but I understand the playoffs are different. Not at the expense of their fans, staff, players and coaches. It’s even worse as it’s an open air stadium on the sides so the smoke will get in there.

Don, you know the funny thing is if this person just said things in relevance like, well the 3rd down defense has been pretty bad, the injuries to the LB’ers have been a problem, the pass rush has been up and down, Kinkaid we all expected more on a thought a breakout year, etc. would be reasonable. That’s fair minded as no team is perfect so we have flaws like any other team. Just like the Broncos running game is pedestrian at best. These foolish takes are just that and had intent for this reaction. He received what he wanted. Not everyone is a rara, the Bills can do nothing wrong. Then again, we also have so many strengths that most teams in the league don’t have which is why we won in MCDERMoTT’s coaching 13 wins, which was never done by any Bills coach in history, a 5 time AFCE winner, playoff appearance in 7 of the last 8 years. Welcome to reality. Go to the board you’re really a fan of as it’s not the Bills. My first paragraph shows you many Bills fans get frustrated with our flaws, but we have common sense.

Simon, thanks for standing up for the real Bills fans. I’m not indicting this person, but it certainly smells as you state of negativity, and I’ll leave at that point. I just wish some would at least take a fair minded point of view, vs. a negativity only slant. An interesting point brought up this morning on WGR IS OUT IF THE 14 playoff teams on 4th down when not unrealistic like 4th and 17, McD was rated as the #1 coach in this crew. For all the clock management, he’s not aggressive enough, etc., he’s done a better job than Dan Campbell and others as Campbell was sometimes too overly aggressive this year and it cost him in some situations.

Joe Brady has proven this season especially he is a top talent OC like Ben Johnson. He has a lot of weapons so he’s not vulnerable to an overly liability to Diggs. Surtan can only defend one guy. Samuel may be of help Sunday, but we’ll see. We also may see a nice day from Hollins. My guess. The RB’s are going to have a good day and so may the TE’s.

Wild Card Round, Broncos v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
machine gun kelly replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Similar. A telling point is McD is 9-4 against rookie QB’s. He’ll have Nix seeing ghosts by the end of the game. Bills. 27 Broncos 17 -
Glad you’re good Scuba Steve. It looks like it will be cold for a couple of days. I welcome it as I get to haul out the leather jackets and sweaters.

Dion will handle him. He’s a multiple time pro bowler and has been nothing less than stellar. Agreed with New Era he’s formidable, but Dion has faced that before. Besides Josh is one of the least sacked guys in the league as he evades pressure. He can also put on the cape if he needs to do it as he’s incredible in the playoffs. A heck of a better than Lamar. His playoff record is atrocious.

Scuba, my man Chandman is in Jax where it was 36 degrees in Tampa this morning feeling like 31, soJax probably was 5 degrees colder. I know it’s not Buffalo at 16 degrees this morning, but the difference is you don’t deal with four months of 93 degree weather with 95% humidity day in and out. I know you were just kidding, and Chand, thanks for sharing the video. That was awesome. BILLIEVE!!!!!

Raiders had discussions with Belichick about becoming their HC

Dude, you always make me laugh. -
Amari Cooper is back and will practice
machine gun kelly replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Some get so myopic on him missing a meaningless game, when speculating of course, but a loss issue, or a family matter that are not our business. This game matters. I knew if we were patient, he would do the right thing. He wants to win as much as all of us. We are favored by 8.5 pts. So the guys in the desert seem to think we’ll win. I don’t disagree, but might be closer than 8.5. The only winning team record is the win over my Bucs who finished 10-7. They lost to every playoff or even team with a winning record. We on the other hand beat the SB champs in the Chiefs, the hottest team this year in the Lions, and it’s important to consider the 49ers were in the SB last year. Let’s not forget the 10-7 Hawks. We beat them as well. We are battle tested and should win this week, but probably by 3-4. -
Raiders had discussions with Belichick about becoming their HC
machine gun kelly replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
He did it with the Jets. It wouldn’t be the first time. He’d be smart to stay at UNC and set up his kid for the next head coaching job in 3 years as he’ll be 76-77. -
I didn’t write elite, but we have several very solid players that came here because they want to play with Josh. The easiest example is he bought O Line. We didn’t overpay for Edwards, and McGovern, yet we have a top O Line in the NFL. Go look at whatever website you want. Cooper was a trade, but we captured him for $850 k, and whether you agree he’s a solid player, he’s helped this team. Rasul Douglas loves being here, and we didn’t overpay for him. We also have depth players that want to play on a winning team as evidenced by a 3rd 13 win season. What do you want? Sure, the SB, but that’s what 31 teams want every year. The team is more than a sum of its parts. This is probably the second most talented team in the NFL behind the Eagles, if you consider head to toe. Not just the starters.
-
You beat me to it Turk. Players often pointed out they want to play with Josh and take less. This is a desirable market, and the canopy already will cover 65% of fans. In time maybe they can make small increases to 75% or so, but is that really so bad. The wind confusion alone will mitigate a large portion of the harsh elements. If you go from high winds to almost nothing or slight, and you’re not rained or snowed on, the fan has still gets our history of an outdoor team. its better than what Pittsburgh, Cleveland, NE, NJJ, and NJG deal with regularly. Players want to play with HOF QB in the making. There is no way Josh doesn’t get into the HOF with another 10-12 years of success under his belt.

I hate when you guys (the few) bring up past misery, and yes, it was a forward pass. The crappy thing is I had to go to an NSM (National Sales Meeting) in Nashville right after the game. It was horrible. I certainly Oy had my Bills cap on every morning at the hotel gym, and argued with work colleagues. I must have said 30 times, it was a forward pass.

Pin the Head Coach on the Donkey....
machine gun kelly replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting minds think alike. Carroll is a decent candidate for Chicago. Chicago desperately needs a seasoned leader, one who will get the Bears defense working again, and a promising running game as he did at the Jets, USC, and Seattle. He’s an up tempo coach who motivates his teams. Caleb would benefit from those two aspects and Carroll will groom his replacement in 2-3 years and get their program back to viability. As much as I like Ben Johnson, he’s meant for a different type of team. I like Johnson, but if he ends up getting an experienced QB, he will flourish at his first HC gig. GB, I forgot to say thanks as you’re posts are always thoughtful and insightful. -
Personally, I consider Sunday a win. Rest everyone, stay healthy and screw the Cheats out if #1. The heck with those guys. I’ll forever hate the Cheats and Fish.
-
That was my take as well, and it’s none of our business if he had a death in the family, or some other family tragedy. If McD states he’ll most likely play, he’ll play. As a reminder, he probably wants an extension so this is last chance in the playoffs to prove his worth. He was cheap this year, so now we’ll see if he’s worth it. I like Cooper, but he has been up and down. I’m not a hot take quick overreaction guy, but really want to see some great performances in the playoffs. He helps us get to the SB, and I’m all in on paying him.
-
I thought you were going among the many to select Joe Brady. Chicago is an attractive spot as they have a QB, who needs development, some young talent, and 8 draft pics, 3 in the first couple of rounds.
-
Sack, I’m just reading, but agree with you. He's a good coach, but when they give you bad ingredients, the cook can only do so much as Parcel’s stated many years ago. With his resume, he’ll get picked up right away for someone needing DC talent. If I were Chicago, once their HC is hired, I’d scoop him up in a heartbeat as Chicago needs an excellent defensive coordinator, and has young talent.
