Were Dawson and Baker separated at Birth LOL
machine gun kelly replied to JP51's topic in The Stadium Wall
No argument, but Mayfield has been a nice extension from Brady. The Bucs haven’t missed a beat since the transition, amd that with eating $33 mil in dead cap from when Brady retired. A lot worse than our Bills with the exception of the Diggs exit, yet at least in that situation we received a high draft pic for Diggs. No such event occurred with the Bucs. Wait until the end of this year. The Falcons, Panthers, nor the Panthers have any shot at taking the crown from the Bucs. For the others, I never stated it was Baker that did the five years, just the Bucs never went south after Brady left the Bucs in the lurch. -
Rams extend RB Kyren Williams - 3-year, $33 million
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s actually projected at $14,146 in 2026. My reasoning is we have him at $5.3 mil. this year. That’s basically $19,446,000 over 2 years so an annual of $9,723,000 over an avg. for two years. The problem is we have to pay the tag up front. That’s even better than $13 mil. Per year., but we would get time to smooth out the cap and one more year. Either way we win. Thats my reasoning. This would be my final offer, and we can still give $23 mil guaranteed +$1 to save face for the guy. -
Rams extend RB Kyren Williams - 3-year, $33 million
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im fine with $11/yr. For 3 years. I was leaning up to this point with playing out his year, tagging him, and either sit out next year or sign the freakin tag. Either way we could be done with him at either 27 or 28. That’s the shelf life of most RB’s not named Henry. Besides Williams has done it longer than Cook. It’s beautiful leverage for Beane. 1350 all purpose yea rds in 2023 1481 all purpose yards in 2024. How the hell can his agent state cook has done more? -

JP, it would have been nice for you leave the last names, and no. Im still an avid Bills fantic, but now have lived in Tampa longer than Buffalo. We love Mayfield down here, but some who don’t follow the NFL that closely still think of the reputation of Mayfield in the beginning. He’s been a helluva find for Tampa. It’s a large reason why the Bucs have won the NFCS for the last 5 years just like the Bills. Mayfield is no Allen, but he is a heck of a good QB. -
I'm Shocked - Baylon Specter Hurt

Geez, just move on already. -
The report from the Bills is simply he is week to week, yet this reporter indicates 4-5 weeks. Maybe it will be this timeframe, but to me this is speculation as the bills usually don’t give out timeframes unless season ending like an ACL, or Achilles. So I’m going to remain hopeful he cuts that guesstimate by a week. Shakir is young and normally pretty healthy. There have been exceptions to timeframes like AP who cam back months before expected and killed it after his ACL. Granted these examples are usually the exception, not the norm. So my positive attitude is he makes it back no later than four weeks. He’d have a week before the Ravens game, so to me it’s not an absolute he misses that game. Probably, but not a fact he’s missing the game.

My thought that domes to mind is the West has two legitimate competitors in division with the Broncos #1 defense and another year to develop the offense, Payton and Harbaugh are two of the more accomplished coaches, so the other is the Chargers. Lastly, the Raiders now have Pete Carroll a SB winning NFL coach, and more experience in their new year, and Geno Smith who played well enough in Seattle. KC finally has some real competition in the AFCW.

Report: Micah Parsons requests a trade
machine gun kelly replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am aware, but do you want to maneuver us into a cap mess by pushing everything to the future. One of the reasons weve done so well, is Beane has been shrewd to extend early, and in the end get breaks, vs. Jerrah who waits til the last minute, and now he’s screwed on the Parsons extension. -

Don’t go down the rabbit hole guys. We couldn’t in a million years be able to find $40mil./yr. We literally have the least cap space in the NFL. -
I like Vic as he does a show in Saturdays on Sirius with Dan Leberfeld (Jets reporter) for years. No frills analysis and relatively fair minded. A little dry, but again fair. They are the opposite of Hot Take. I don’t know on Brown. He’s back on the field so I don’t know about the weight loss. He’s been rock solid for two years, and sure he had back soreness. Nothing right now to get over hyped about and we’ll see week 1.

When the Bills make the SB this year, what’s your go to?
machine gun kelly replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im very fortunate 1/2 mile from my home there are two restaurants in Tampa. One has the best wings down here so I’ll split with my wife 8 garlic hot with blue cheese of course. A block away is Mothers where 1 of the two owners is from Buffalo, so a Beef on Weck. Authentic, with the proper rolls served with dill pickles and horseradish. They use Prime Rib so very tasty. I only drink beer maybe once a year on the SB as I graduated to wine a long time ago. I have a system where I will then get a four pack of Guinness, and 6 pack of Harps. No self respecting Irishman dirties up a good beer with British with Bass. Only half and half so Harps and Guinness. I don’t do the SB party anymore as they are a distraction and can’t hear the game. We’d have my sons and their GF, but they are 26 and 24 and are into the party atmosphere. -
Training Camp 8/1 - Return of the Blue and Red

I’m tabling judgment. He may shine under Josh, or may be a bust. IDK and I don’t think anyone else does either as he’s had bums throwing to him. -
Keon keeps trying to beat Allen to Highmark lol
machine gun kelly replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
To me on time is late by a mile and that is just as a Regional Manager in a Medical Device Company. You have to demonstrate to your people you will learn, do, and perform everything they will do. Keon’s learning from one of the best. I appreciate he is trying. Hopefully, this translates to being as close to perfect as possible. -
I don’t think it’s an absolute either way. IR should be last resort as we all want Tre to be the old Tre, but a torn ACL, then Achilles is significant. After week 1 which I seriously doubt any of these opponents are serious threats, so weaving him in after a week to two fully healthy and starting against weak opponents would give him experience and can manage load time for Tre. We just don’t know how he’ll heal and progress as far as Mad Max.

Dave, I putlearning to play the piano on my bucket list when I retire. I’m sure you’re good.

Pete, I’m left handed (short bus as there are only 10% of us in the world) and have always batted, swung a hockey stick, and swung a golf club right. Swinging left is unnatural for me. Being taught by the nuns in the 70’s in elementary school, they used to make me cut papers, etc. after school with my right hand as they said I had a weakness in my right hand. Seems pretty antiquated now, but I didn’t know any better from the St. Joseph’s nuns at OMGC. Not sure if you know it, but now a closed down Catholic elementary school located in Blasdell.I I grew up on the border of Hamburg, but went to a Blasdell Catholic school.

NFL Radio Moving the Chains at Bills camp. Great listen
machine gun kelly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saint, I think someone else sent the link to the recording, so just scroll through the thread. Minus the commercials, it was about. 1hr. And 20 minutes. For me, I like the analysis of the team between the interviews. The guys I mentioned gave I teresti g interviews, but nothing earth shattering. I’ll agree with eball, they consider our team to be a blue chip team, and if you listened to their rating of the various rooms, these last several weeks, they have us because of depth towards the top in depth at almost every position. -
Ethan, first thanks for the distraction with this thread. It seems like we have a diverse bunch of guys (unisex phrase). As far as hobbies, I work in the business side of medicine, so not a hobby, but a large part of my life. Faith is important to me, and so is my family. I’m a father of three, and now with my second marriage two stepsons. My daughter is adopted from China, and turns out 8 years after the end of my first marriage (22 years), I swore I’d never remarry, but did to the most wonderful girl and coincidentally was born and raised in China. Talking to her parents is interesting as they don’t speak English. They live in my wife’s home about 4-5 months a year. I’ve always worked out since I was 14, and just a part of me. I have a buddy we try and train together around 4-5 days a week. I too liked all the Star Trek shows and movies except that DSN. I still go to church most weeks, but don’t ask my wife to attend. I have a park I enjoy the solitude. It’s called Philippe Park in Safety Harbor and on the north end of Tampa Bay. I enjoy the silence of it, and have actually started to meditate, which was a challenge as I’m usually a mile a minute. It’s nice watching the fisherman, and the older couple taking walks with each other holding hands. Movies Football (mainly the NFL) Love cooking for my wife and her kids Lastly, a closet Dexter fan. I’ve been able to get my wife excited on the shows, and her ring ton is the beginning song for Dexter. Mine is the ominous music at the end of every show. Anyway, it’s nice to get to know each of you. I appreciate knowing some of the other interests. Enjoy the weekend guys.

NFL Radio Moving the Chains at Bills camp. Great listen
machine gun kelly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was basically analysis as they are very fair balanced, and interviews from Beane, McD, Josh, Keon, and I’m sure I’m missing someone. It’s always a fun day as have been listening to this stuff for years.
