It is good news on Hairston. He can learn from his occasional mistakes, but he has such make up speed, it will be a good test. He also gets much needed playing time before the big bad Chiefs.

Well it’s been too many years and consistency to say it’s luck. It does suck, but K I agree 100%.

Boys, I know, but not a lot we can do about it mid season. Thompson is our best potential as the Mic. Ogunjobi and Hoycht are a last ditch effort to give some life to the line, and Mad Max has to find a way in the field soon, hopefully by the Chiefs. He’ll make mistakes, but has rare speed to make up for his misses. Im still praying we add an Olave type to the WRs to make it easier for JA to hit downfield. It’s worth it. The last thing is JA has to find quicker options to get rid of the ball faster as he’s taking too many hits as he doesn’t have anyone open.

The only easier fix is to play base defense, with Thompson out there every down.

Thanks 89. I’ve met Evans a really nice guy. I’ve never heard a bad word about him ever since he’s been here. He’s not the typical arrogant SOB weve come to expect from WR’s.

And so have the Bills. Is it so hard for you guys to have compassion for another good team that s not the Bills? I’m frustrated with our two losses as well, and even more frustrated when we lost this four SB’s. I’ve spent the first half of my life in Buffalo, and the second half here. We’re not talking about the Dolphins, Cowboys, or Patriots.

Utica, you’re right the Bucs have won 2 SB’s. That doesn’t mean losing say a Josh Allen type of guy like Evans who has been great for over 9 years is not tragic. Just like losing for the season Dion Dawkins who is equally special. The bad thing for me is Baker has fought so long to be on top, and he’s finally there, but now loses his top four weapons. We’d be going nuts if it were the Bills.

I really feel for Bucs fans including my two sons. As some of you know I live in Tampa now, and all of my friends down here are big Bucs fans. Evans has been so consistent for so long. As some know he’s had the most consecutive 1000 yard seasons in the history of the league.

I hate to admit I agree. I’m sick of Coleman out there and Kinkaid not out there. We should have Palmer when healthy, and integrate Moore more along with Shakir and Cook of course on all plays. They screwed the pooch on the Coleman pick.

Agreed, Douglas is an upgrade over Tre by far, and probably costs a 7th rounder. I’m still clamoring for Olave for a higher pick. He gets injured, but with our stable of WR’s may not need to play every down.

This argument has been made before, and it’s foolish to think any college team could beat even a bad NFL team. They can’t. Those WR’s look like they may make it in the NFL, but that’s not a given.

Noggin, not everyone is Irish so a number of people down where I live have no idea what an Irish Retreat means, nor Irish Alzheimer’s. So wiseguy, it was for their benefit, not yours.

Miami’s not trading Waddle even if it does implode. So for me an out of conference trade is all that can happen which leaves Olave. He does get hurt from time to time. The only saving grace is if Palmer can heal up soon as he wont be necessary for Carolina, but after that we need him as a focal point. I may have written this once before, but Moore better get in better synergy with JA17. Coleman should sit except for red zone and accept it was a major screw up we drafted him. It’s likely Hairston could get back by KC, and just accept hes going to make some mistakes, but has to start getting on the field. Im also in the camp we probably could get Douglas from Miami in that he cost them nothing, is better than Tre, and they won’t care if they get a 7th rounder for him.

Im just reading this thread and thought the same. We are in abundance of slot type WR’s, but are poorly lacking in outside, downfield WRs.
