We probably won’t see him until training camp. I don’t care if he heals up properly. We have so many weak opponents this year, I wouldn’t even play him except games like the Ravens, Eagles, Chiefs, Bucs, Texans, and Bengals. He’s not needed for division games the Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Browns etc.

There is an article on the main board this morning how he had two knee injuries, had to have surgery and rehab. Supposedly it hampered his ability to increase strength and size. That makes sense and now even if healthy will never gain the weight needed to be an explosive TE. I’m sure he can still have an impact , but he’s not going to be Travis Kelce in his prime this year.

Tyreek Hill: Understands CTE
machine gun kelly replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s a POS. Don’t give him the time of day. Bye bye loser. You did Nossing last year. -
Jake, thanks for not only providing the link, but also typing out each injury. I’m sure in the link it will detail games missed for each injury. Beane knows it s a gamble on Bosa, but potentially worth it.

They are Colorado. My wife maybe the most patriotic American as she knows the difference as she lived for 33 years. My wife wept with me when I played at 6 am on YouTube “I’m proud to be an American”. She know sacrifice and loves our country. Makes me love her even more as she knows I’m a patriot. I get the warts, but there is no country better than ours. Enjoy your day bud. She called an audible on me not burgers, but made home made pizza and she’s happy as a clam. The old phrase happy wife, yadadyada.

Well written as I woke up thinking the same. I’ve not lost a family member due to war, but had a number of uncles and my dad serve during wartime. For two of my uncles and my father, it was the Korean War. For another uncle, Vietnam. They all came home, but lost friends over there in two wars. I pledged decades ago, I would go to church not necessarily for mass as I just went yesterday, but somehow has meaning to me to sit in a pew for a few minutes and pray for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I do it every year on Memorial Day. We just finished breakfast so getting ready to leave now. Thank you to the people on this board who served. I firmly believe all of us appreciate youre service and sacrifices to protect our freedoms. The last couple of years I’m constantly reminded how wonderful it is to live here as my wife emigrated from China 9 years ago, and has shared privately many times what it was like living in a communist nation. She sacrificed everything to get her kids, my stepsons to grow up in a free society. God bless this country we hold so dear. Enjoy those burgers and dogs today all and hug you’re kids.

Von Released, Frees Up $8.4M Cap Space
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey I liked Miller, but he’s done. He should work on his emerging mgmt career, and wish him the best of luck. Our guy from Tampa eventually was able to do it in John Lynch. He was a helluva safety for the Bucs in the defensive heyday and worked his way into mgmt as he’s an incredibly bright and approachable guy. He was always nice to fans in Tampa as a player. I met him several times, and maybe Von can follow that path as well over the next decade. -
K, I’m sorry for your loss if you liked that show. For me, the only shows I enjoy on ESPN is NFL Matchup, and the MNF shows prior to the games. The rest to me is garbage. Greg Cosell does a heck of a job on matchup as it’s a beautiful breakdown of key games each week during the season. I don understand loss as I really enjoyed the FBI shows and two were cancelled last week along with Blue Bloods and SWAT. Some of these networks are idiots.

NFL players to the Olympics in Flag Football?
machine gun kelly replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
BN, Metcalf was traded to the Steelers as an fyi. I agree with your supposition speed and elusiveness matter more than anything else. I coached my kids in a competitive flag league for 7 years alternating with tackle. Lamar is the better choice over Josh in this league. As far as RB’s, they aren’t used as much, but if they keep one or two, you want Cook as he has breakaway speed. Henry and other bruisers even with speed are not as needed. You want speed at all positions along with great hand ey control. Pulling a flag at full speed against elusive players is not as easy as one thinks. -
You asked, and they listened… (Bills on Hallmark)

He may well be best known for the Sopranos, but has also been a principle character from Seasons 6-15 on the #1 show in the nation in Blue Bloods. That’s also network tv with a much larger audience than HBO. I never used to have HBO so never had the pleasure of seeing it, so for me he’s always going to be Anthony Abidimarco, DA investigator for Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynihan), and has more scenes than I can say with Frank Reagan, the police commissioner (Tom Selleck) and Danny Reagan (Donny Wahlberg). Anyway, I like the guy, but another guy from the Sopranos had an often part as the NYS Attorney General, Michael Imperioli. He plays the character of Robert Lewis. Given I’m Irish Catholic from Buffalo amd have lots of family in law enforcement up there, I always enjoyed Blue Bloods, as the show was more about family and traditions,, than just a cop/legal show. Whoops sorry guys, it duplicated. -
I wish one of you would copy the pic as I don’t have Facebook, nor do I ever want to get on any social media. I’m on LinkedIn for business purposes, and here. That’s it. Before I married and was dating, I had to do Snapchat or Instagram out of necessity, but have since dropped them.

They do seem a likeable bunch, but someone needs to teach these boys how to eat a wing. Flats for sure, but they are not twisting and breaking the wing then sucking off each side. Someone needs to give these guys a tutorial.

Hans from Diehard? I know Ridge, Hans and Franz from SNL. I just read Hans and automatically thought about Diehard. Now give me my detonators.

Bud, I think there’s potential, but as we both have said, he’s done nothing yet as a HC. We’ll see. Im open minded. I felt the same way about McD 8+ years ago. I thought potential, but we hadn’t seen anything yet.

Prospector, not brown nosing, just appreciation for all these guys. Do for us. We have this forum because of them. To nonstopbust their chops on the schedule isn’t updated fast enough, etc. is not something I’m willing to just pile on. i realize you’re kidding. Besides, it takes literally two seconds for anyone on a google search to get details of the schedule. What’s the big deal?
-
MJS, As much as I like Ben Johnson and he has been a favorite for two years to get the HC job, he hasn’t done anything at all as a HC. So yes, an emerging HC. Pretty simple. As in the previous post, I think he really may be the answer to Chicago. I’ve never dislike the team and hope they can have success, just like I’m happy Detroit finally turned it around after so many losses.
-
I love the optimism, but do t underestimate Cincy, KC, and agreed the SB champs, Philly.
-
I tried to have your back Simon. I do think it would be helpful for a schedule update, but there is a right way to make a polite request. Some of these posters are showing a lack of appreciation you guys don’t get paid to keep this forum going. Anyway, I hope one of you guys can do it, but berating isn’t the way. Let’s save that for fake Billsfans who are actually other AFCE fans. We should always take care of our own.
-
Ben Johnson is a great new emerging HC. He may be the one to finally make the Bears relevant again in a couple of years. They have talent. I think it’s a great idea. Competitive practices help both teams.
-
Agreed on leaving it alone. Hey, if he’s happy, and thinks he can be successful on the Cowgirls, good for him. It was no great secret he and his position coach did t get along. It honestly doesn’t matter. All of us have had a manager we didn’t like, but had to follow their lead. It’s just business.

Hey, I think Seth was a little premature, but he makes a point we have the dates nd times, so the new schedule would be nice. I can look it up, but it would be nice on the homepage. I assume the moderators have a life and full time jobs, and families. We should always be patient with them as they do their best. With that said, I’ll give a big thank you to the mods when they do it,

Colts owner Jim Irsay passes away
machine gun kelly replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. I truly hope he’s found peace as addictions can wear a person out in unimaginable ways. The problem with that wealth is you have no one to tell you you’re going off a cliff. I’m sure he has a succession plan, and he was a good owner. He always cared about his players. -
I think this is the worst of ideas. I hate it with every fiber of my being.

As much as he lost a step last year, with the two out for suspensions, I don’t see how the Bills can afford to be this thin at the 1tech., DT. Maybe before the trade deadline if we could up grade at this or another position. We did it before with Douglas so it’s possible.
