  1. Eh, it's a free market. They have the right to try and renegotiate and the team has the right to tell them to pound sand, which is likely what will happen in this case. Poyer is a top-5 safety, imo, and I have no problem with him asking to be paid like one.
  2. Kelce Waller Andrews Gronk Henry Kittle Goedert Pitts Gesicki Schultz Hockenson Fant All of the above are arguably better than Knox. And don't get me wrong, I like Knox and want to hold on to him. As it is right now, he's a quality NFL starting tight end. But as the other poster said, he needs to take the next step to be top-10 at the position.
  3. I agree. And if you draft a stud WR, their second deal comes due when Diggs is at the end of the line on his playing career. Gabe Davis would appear to be the odd man out in this scenario, but maybe you could move him in a trade if he blows up this year?
  4. Honestly, looks like a workout warrior bust to me. Wouldn't use anything earlier than a 3rd rounder on him.
  5. I actually agree, Greg. Just using those home wins as a template and working from there. Point being, I think we should win 13-14 games, but it never really shakes out the exact way you expect it to.
  6. Reminder - every single team in the NFL has a road game at Buffalo penciled in as a projected loss. So, start from there, and then give us three road wins at Pats/Find/Jets and all we need to do is win at Chicago and Detroit. And I like us to take 2 of the 4 against Ravens/Rams/Chiefs/Bengals.
  7. Just wait until he's spilling the playbook to Bellicheat.
  8. I haven't been this upset since Leif Larsen was released.
  9. Marquez Stevenson is a thoroughbred. Unfortunately, his blinders are affixed directly in front of his eyes.
  10. Matt Haack and Taiwan Jones for the #1 pick. Make it happen Beane.
  11. There's other guys with more speed and agility that make you say "wow", but there's something about the combination of Burks' strength, hands, deceptive speed and highpoint ability that screams AJ Brown or Eric Moulds to me. I feel like we haven't had a real big physical receiver in forever. The guy just looks like a football player to me and he's the one I want if we go the receiver route in round 1.
  12. Yep. I was like, "Holy sh*#! This kid is a freak!" watching that play. Juking Alonso (i think it was him) out of his shoes was also an early "WOW!!! LMAO!!!" moment for me.
  13. Yeah, I don't understand it and it's frankly an idiotic move on his part. Look at the guys who are considered some of the smartest dudes in the league - they all have agents. What does that tell you, Lamar?
  14. It's honestly pretty damning of the kid's judgment/decision-making.
  15. I'm 43, born and raised in Buffalo, and we had season tickets from 1988-1995 (when I moved to California). I'm basically in the sweet spot for the OP. Obviously, I'm obsessed with the Bills and have been since they announced Kelly would be coming to Buffalo after the USFL dissolved. I had tons of opportunities to meet the big 90's stars, tossed a football around with Andre Reed on the Rich Stadium turf and even appeared in a commercial where Jim Kelly picks me up and lifts me in the air, etc. So, it's hard for me to say either way, but I'd have to think that the team being so good in my formative years has influenced the intensity of my love for the team. For instance, I'm a hockey fan, but never had the same level of interest in the Sabres (don't get me wrong, I've always followed them and was insanely excited when the LaFontaine trade was announced, loved Mogilny, Pat, Andreychuk, Housley, etc), probably because they were mediocre in comparison to the Bills at that time.
  16. He's a better prospect. Started over JJ in college (#1 vs. #2). 5th pick of the draft (vs. 22nd for JJ). 13 TDs as a rookie (JJ had 7 and 10 respectively in his two seasons). 18.0 ypc. Elevated his offense/team to playoffs and SB in first season. Extra year on his cheap rookie deal. And I don't see him backsliding. If anything, I expect him to put up MONSTER numbers next year. No brainer for me.
  17. If you want to go with that reasoning, Jamarr Chase is just as good as JJ and has an additional year on his rookie contract.
  18. Is this the greatest offseason in franchise history? (Offseason only - forgetting what immediately preceded it, of course)
  19. Clearly we are trading Josh Allen for Baker Mayfield.
  20. I wouldn't say it should always be a Josh run, but yes, his running ability is one of the things that has made us so potent on offense. Go back and watch the Pats and Chiefs playoff games. Without Josh's running ability and our willingness to lean on it, there would have been many more opportunities to bite our nails while watching Haack barely escape a blocked punt.
  21. I feel horrible for laughing at that.
  22. Yes. Must be devestating to be "punished" by a powerless anonymous message board member posting from their parents' basement.
  23. I will never begrudge another human being for following their heart and doing what they believe is best for them. Let's move on and stop embarrassing ourselves
  24. Okay. I think that Tua is a "legitimate starter" in the vein of of Kirk Cousins, Mac Jones, David Carr, Jimmy Garopalo and others. Meanwhile we have Josh Allen. So,we win 3 out of 4 games vs the phins, where does that leave Miami?
  25. Can you imagine being a fan of another team when you've got to go against Josh freaking Allen? Honestly, that must be a terrible feeling. It blows my mind that we are now considered, far and away, the favorites to win the Super Bowl this coming year. We are that big bad team that is expected to wreck the league. Really fun from a fan perspective. Let's hope our guys can deliver on that promise.
