  1. I think people are seriously underestimating the Raiders. Their defense is really coming on strong. They went on the road last week and held Indy to 260 total yards and won despite losing the turnover battle -2. And lets not forget that they went into Dallas a few weeks ago and beat the Cowboys while hanging 500+ yards on them. They are a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team, but they have a veteran QB and a higher ceiling than the Pats. I would much rather face a one-dimensional team like New England.
  2. There are a lot of extenuating circumstances that have led to the drop in performance we've seen from Baker and Lamar this season. I'm not super high on either of them, but they are much better than they've shown in 2021. The Ravens have been decimated by injuries this year and we know Baker isn't healthy. I think the Browns and Ravens should find a way to lock up these guys. I think Lamar gets a Josh Allen type of contract in the offseason. Maybe a little more based on the cap and inflation. I'm not saying he's "worth" that, but they need to keep him and that's what he's going to demand. As for the Browns, they were a nothing joke before Baker. Do they really want to play the QB carousel again for 20 years? Baker is probably around the 12-15th best QB in the NFL when healthy. The question is whether the Browns can get Baker to sign for a contract number in that range. They shouldn't break the bank for him, but do they want to roll the dice on him bouncing back with a big year in 2022 and demanding huge money or walking?
  3. This year really shows you how it's such a game of inches in the NFL. Bills are literally 3 fluke plays/bad calls away from 13-3 and Josh being #2 in the MVP race behind Rodgers (slip against TN, missed DPIs against Pats and Bucs). But overall, I agree with those who say Josh hasn't been as good this year. It's clear from the stats and the eye-test. He's had a few real stinkers, which is something we didn't see much of last season.
  4. His vision on the kickoff returns is comically bad. If he wasn't on our Bills, I'd probably find it pretty amusing actually.
  5. With one single data point, this is honestly meaningless. To prove the point, I just quickly went through Allen and Brady's game logs to see their records in games where their quarterback ratings were sub-65 (i.e., "Bad Games"). Brady is 10-23 (.303 winning percentage) and Allen is 2-9 (.182 win percentage).
  6. It's the playoffs. Of course I'm worried. I'd be worried if we were matched up against Jamestown High School.
  7. What I wouldn't give for him over Stevenson. Kid's nickname should be Mr. Magoo.
  8. The other thing that struck me today is that we have 10 wins, and not a single one has been by less than 10 points. Has that ever happened in NFL history? Just a very odd stat.
  9. Holy crap. Stevenson is a joke. Need an upgrade in the offseason. He's horrible
  10. And Stafford turns it over again.
  11. Starting to feel like Jax all over again. Sloppy, unfocused and stupid.
  12. Get both. That's what I do when I'm in town! Also, to the OP. Jealous man. Your boys are going to have a BLAST!
  13. I heard he pancaked Judon and said "You just got Rick-rolled by MASTER BATES"
  14. Interesting. I wonder why Bates fell all the way out of the draft. Not even a late day 3 selection? He looks undersized, but solid to me. He's only 24 years old. Hope the Bills keep him here in this utility lineman/backup center role for awhile.
  15. I feel like we just laid an egg against the Colts. For whatever reason, we just weren't ready to play that game and it showed. We lost the turnover battle 4-0. I don't see that happening again. The Colts are good, but they aren't some juggernaut. I think that game is a toss-up if we meet them in the playoffs.
  16. I'm surprised that John Elway isn't on the 300/50 list. He's the perfect comp for Allen. Allen is just a little taller. Otherwise, they are very similar in their styles and skillset.
  17. Can't wait. I knew we outplayed them, but I never really felt comfortable until that last touchdown. Now I can just enjoy what really was a dominating win (428-288 in yards, 35/25 TOP).
  18. Exactly. They are the Chad Pennington New York Jets. Enjoy the occasional wild card and winning 1/4 against the Bills for the next 10 years (if they stick with Macaroni).
  19. Macaroni Jones in 2 games vs. Buffalo: 188 total yards (combined passing/running), 0 TDs, 2 INTs Josh Allen in 2 games vs. NE: 562 total yards, 4 TDS, 0 INTs That's a BITTER PILL for NE fans to swallow.
  20. I don't usually listen to the post game show, but tuned in yesterday and my God, Schopp is an absolutely awful host for that type of format. I actually don't mind him for the most part during his daily show, but he is the wrong guy to have on the radio after a big Bills win like that. Hearing him took all the sails out of my wind.
  21. I think the two biggest MVP's by far were the Pro Bowl voters and the Boston white dogsh*t eating TV guy. Kudos to them.
  22. I agree. I've been a fan since 1984, caught the entire 90s run in person, and Josh is without a doubt my favorite player to this point. Loved Thurm, Bruce and especially Andre (before Super Bowl XXV), but Josh is a cut above in the pure joy to watch category. You only see a couple of dudes like this in an entire lifetime IMO.
