  1. Okay I'll start. Isaiah Hodgins for Vanessa Hudgens. Barely need to change the name on the back of the jersey.
  2. He is so incredibly entertaining to watch. Just a joy to behold.
  3. Yeah, I don't think his career is over by any stretch, even if he's suspended for two seasons. He's still young and QBs play into their 40s these days. And I don't think he'll just forget how to play football. But yes, I'd expect there to be a bunch of rust while he gets up to speed.
  4. We definitely need another DB to start the season, imo. I wonder if there's anyone that Beane is eyeing and this is just about freeing up every last bit of cash to make it happen.
  5. I HATED Rob Johnson during the '98-00 seasons and was a Flutie guy all the way, but I gained a measure of respect for him after attending the Bills loss at San Diego in 2001. The guy got KILLED all game long, but continued to lead us back with score after score in the second half to keep us in the game despite what seemed to be an endless stream of special teams gaffes. We ultimately lost because of a late game kickoff return by the Bolts and a blocked field goal when we were attempting to tie it at the end (the Jake Arians era...haha). But man, Johnson was electric that day, used every ounce of his athleticism getting us down the field and took a hell of a beating in the process. I still never liked him, but I respected him after that. Even though that turned out to be the last decent game he ever played as an NFL QB. Ultimately, he just didn't have a great feel for the game - kinda like Losman in that regard - some have "it" and some don't.
  6. I feel ya, 716. As I've gotten older, I've learned to enjoy the moment without fretting too much about the end goal (i.e., I'm not a "Super Bowl or bust" guy). This is a damn good team made up of seemingly damn fine men. I think we're in for a lot of fun this season. Can't wait for kickoff.
  7. This guy could be a hall of famer with Kromer's coaching!
  8. By all accounts he was really showing something in camp the past two years, but he either has the worst luck in the world or he's made of glass. Haven't completely given up on him, but he'll have to be healthy and stay healthy when camp opens, and he'll really need to flash when compared to Kumerow, Stevenson and the other 6-9 receivers on the depth chart to have a chance to stick.
  9. My first instinct was to look at the thread title, the kid's RAS score and then just laugh, but I went and watched some videos and the guy looks like a solid hands-catcher with some RAC ability. Will be an interesting secondary story to follow throughout camp and preseason and looks like a solid practice squad stash.
  10. I did find his hot GF's IG through this thread, so for that I am thankful.
  11. I'd stop watching until the GM/ownership group left or until they fixed the situation. I wouldn't root for another team. Just play more golf on fall Sundays.
  12. So, you're a "stat scout"? Got it. I don't know if he has anything left, but he's been perennially injured and seems to have been the recipient of serial bad luck with penalties negating his big plays. There's a ton of articles out there about it dating back to his rookie season (like the one linked here discussing his returns in a 2019 Wild Card game - one of which was an 80 yard score called back due to penalty https://theathletic.com/755119/2019/01/08/tavon-austin-prepares-to-return-to-la-where-the-hurt-is-almost-gone/ or this one explaining his extension in 2016 which references 3 or 4 TD returns called back https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/08/29/jeff-fisher-tavon-austin-was-paid-based-on-anticipation-of-what-hes-going-to-do/). Rams fans also seem to think he was misused and unlucky vs. viewing him as a bust. Watch his NFL film - he has good PR instincts and could fill the role for the Bills assuming he's healthy.
  13. I guess just a camp body, but he can definitely fill the PR role better than anyone we have on our roster. Apparently, his stats don't tell the whole story as Rams fans think he was hosed by playing for Fisher and a bunch of his electric plays were called back because of penalties. Here's the highlights: https://youtu.be/EJvZUVnI9dg Yeah, he was a lottery ticket for sure, and I don't really hold it against Beane or anything, but I'm sure he could have found some value there at that pick as he's done in the past.
  14. I was initially excited by Stevenson based on his college tape, but man, what a stiff he's turned out to be. Beane has been great at drafting "football players", but he definitely whiffed on this one.
  15. If either guy goes up there before Naaman Roosevelt, the Bills are officially dead to me.
  16. Jesus, what is with the obsession with this guy? I like Fitz. Cool dude and all, but he holds no records, zero accolades, never finished in the top half of the league (while with the Bills) in any major statistical QB metric, and never led us to a single winning season. There's probably 20 guys that belong up there before Fitz (Moulds, Ruben Brown, Fred Jackson, etc.).
  17. I've been one to sort of reserve judgment and watch this from a distance with curiosity as to how it would all play out. But I finally watched the Real Sports segment last night and Ms. Solis came across as HIGHLY BELIEVABLE and clearly exhibiting the behaviors of someone who was suffering from serious emotional trauma. After watching that I'm not sure how anyone could come away thinking that Deshaun Watson did not cross the line and do something seriously wrong during his interactions with Ms. Solis. I don't remember much from Crim Law, but it would seem some of his alleged behavior waded into actual sexual assault territory. I would not be shocked by a Trevor Bauer length suspension at this point. Edit: Also, if you value your humanity, do not click the link to the Cleveland Browns fan forum thread. It's the most disgusting thing I've read in quite some time.
  18. Yikes. If that list isn't a sign that Josh needs to check down more often, I don't know what is.
  19. ESPN+ has a ton of good live sports content if you're at all a fan of college sports. Now that they have PGA Tour Live it is a no brainer for me. I almost never watch regular ESPN "programming", but ESPN+ is good stuff for the price.
  20. I feel you, brother. We need community and love more than ever right now, wherever we can find it
  21. I love wings, but I love my health as much or more than those crispy snacks. The most I can remember putting down was finishing off an entire bucket (50) at Duff's with my Mom maybe 15 years ago when I was home to visit. I think she may have eaten 8-12, so that was around 40 for me. Nowadays I'm good with about 10-15. That's plenty filling at this point in my life.
  22. Yeah, that's what struck me the most. Guy could barely put two words together. Yikes.
  23. I think Watson ultimately gets something like a 24 or 25 game suspension. Make him and the Browns hurt for more than a single season, but allows him to get back on the field in 2023.
  24. I thought it was pretty clearly sarcasm by how over the top it was, but still, you're walking a fine line there and I can see how others would be offended. Sometimes it's better to hit that cancel button.
