Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
Magox replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At this stage, it doesn't matter if they are to blame or not. It's their players that continue to keep getting infected and a cancellation potentially puts Buffalo at a disadvantage in playoff scenarios. -

I would hate to win a game by forfeit but a simple cancellation is unacceptable. No matter how you rationalize it, the bottom line is that the Titans continue to keep having players come back infected. A cancellation could have playoff implications that put the Bills at a potential disadvantage. I'm sorry, but if there is a choice between the two it has to be a forfeit. -

You’d have to have a skewed viewpoint to not interpret it as such. -
Panic and warning points

How did you miss my ignore function? Let me throw you into the bin with the rest of the riff raff.

I just got a warning for responding to someone on the football side about viral shedding. I didn't even initiate the conversation, they made a comment about it, I figured I'd throw in a few sentences about viral shedding and BAM! Warning! LOL What a joke.

The owner of the board obviously can do as he wish with this board. Just that the board is now overrun with fake and troll accounts that have done nothing to advance discussion. I'm not sure what happened but sometime over the past year these accounts have exploded and the volume of troll threads are ridiculous. Some of the people that have either been banned or have or are leaving PPP are quality posters. People who are able to thoughtfully articulate their positions, maybe some have gone overboard but their presence will be missed. Even though I often times disagreed with some of their views I enjoyed reading their posts. I cannot say the same for some of the people that remain. I never used the ignore function up until about 6 months ago, now I have about 10-15 users that I have placed on ignore. Wish DR had done the same. -

I bet -
So DR is permanently banned? That's too bad, I have no idea what he did or didn't do, I just know that PPP is worse off for it. Unfortunately, many of the new posters that have appeared out of nowhere in PPP have made the board almost unreadable. Oh well.

[Incomplete Title] Brett Favre compares Josh to ...

These comments do the heart some good. -
For me it was his rookie year at the Dolphins. We lost that game but I don't remember ever feeling so optimistic about the Bills outlook as after that game. The game was wild, Josh was running all over the field, making defenders look stupid, making great passes on the run and leading the team back to an almost victory. My heart was racing a million miles per hour, I happened to be at that game with my brother and father. It was truly a great game to watch and we almost pulled out a victory, with that great scramble play with Josh throwing it just a wee bit short and Clay dropping a very catchable pass. My brother, father and I all pretty much all concluded that we had found our raw, exciting future franchise QB.

Anyone Else Having Trouble Dealing with this Success?

Just enjoy the ride! Soak it all in! The best part about all this is that this journey is just getting started! -
A few things: A) Those other QB’s have earned the right to have the reputation that they do. B) Josh Allen has been unfairly ridiculed by his diminishing chorus of detractors C) Josh is quickly shedding off the “inaccurate” label and is moving into consideration as one of the better QB’s in the league. Josh has been graded and judged on unfair expectations like no other, thankfully Josh believes in himself so much that he hasn’t let it outwardly bother him and that he’s put in the work to continuously get better. I think where Allen has improved the most aside from his deep pass touch is that the game is slowing down for him and he’s seeing the field much better. At the trajectory he is on it is not unreasonable to believe he could end up being one of the top 3 QB’s in the league on a consistent basis.

Josh Allen was going to take a big step regardless of whether or not the Bills had traded for Diggs or not. But the addition of Diggs not only accelerated that step but made it into one huge leap, the trade was the best move that Beane has made as a GM aside from the Josh Allen draft choice, and he's made lots of them.

Allen has stopped running??? Any reason
Magox replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen is seeing the field NEXT LEVEL style. I think he is wanting to use his elusiveness, athleticism and strength to transition into more Aaron Rodgers/Ben Roethlisberger style of play to look at opportunities down the field as opposed to running for first downs. -
Josh's Development is as Dramatic as Lamar's Was Last Season
Magox replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lamar is a lot better than I thought he'd be, but no way is he able to make the first quarter throw that Josh threw to the sideline about 20 yards down the field to Diggs or the ridiculous throw to Brown that should have been a touchdown. There are but a few players in this league that can make those throws. -
Is Mahomes better than Josh Allen and Tre White ... now?
Magox replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought it was a possibility that Allen + White could be as valuable as Mahomes. It wasn't based off what they had accomplished just a belief of what could be. Right now, that possibility is becoming more of a reality. With that said, the only way this argument will hold up is if the Bills win a Super Bowl. Until then, it's not a reality. Even though I do think that the trade doesn't look nearly as bad as it used to. -

Sorry to hear that man. Enjoyed your posts. Best of luck to ya -
Buffalo is one of the best teams in the NFL right now and that's with the defense playing nowhere near to it's capabilities and an offense that is beginning to gel. 13-3

And he certainly wasn't smoked. Just a phenomenal catch by Duke

Norman very nice on coverage, even though that second one he definitely interfered/held on the play.
