Domestic terrorist attack in Wisconsin

That’s different. I didn’t say he didn’t commit a crime. I certainly think he was at a minimum a misguided dumbass. No way he should have been there but it still isn’t murder. Lets hear from him why he was there. -

Sorry to burst your bubble but this is a clear cut case of self defense. I've got the receipts: Video 1 - Shows he's being chased by a mob Video 2 is in Slow Motion and it shows him being attacked by multiple people Image 3, one of the guys who was attacking him had a hand gun who he later shot in the arm. Image 4 shows him getting hit by a skateboard Image 5 shows him getting drop kicked This is self defense. Case closed -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

The lockdowns and extreme social distancing measures will be looked upon by objective scholars as one of the worst public policy responses the world had embarked upon in our life times. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

This is where I fall, drops in cases/deaths are reaching immunity levels and that social distancing similar to like how Sweden did it is as effective than lock downs. This analysis indicates Sweden got it right. (aside from their nursing home debacle) According to his model, his projections are right in line with what I was thinking which is to hit new lows in October. However, he does see it sort of bottoming out at that point. I don't really have a good feel for what will happen once we get to November and beyond. I do believe that we will see deaths continue and it won't go down to near zero. Neither does the flu. -

Every single metric continues to head lower. Yesterday we saw the 7 day moving average move down to 974. Two straight days now of total cases below 40k. Positive percent rate is getting really close to where it was 2 months ago. -

Gamblers on the betting odds liked the first night of the convention. Down to only 11 now from a high of around 25. I also happened to think it was a very good night for them. -

At this rate we could possibly be below 900 deaths per day (7 day moving average) by the end of the week. Hospitalizations, cases, ICU’s, percent positive rates and deaths appear to have all turned the corner. -

I have to be honest with you, that one confounds me a little bit. I would be very interested in seeing some Seroprevalence studies from before this latest outbreak. Also, there was an interesting study that came out of Hong Kong that shows that some people are becoming reinfected after about 5 months but the good news is that they have T cell immunities and that they are barely showing symptoms so I wonder if some of that is going on. Right now at this stage, I just think we need more data to come up with a plausible explanation. I don't really have a good answer till I see a little more. But, it has sort of made my brain go a little haywire trying to figure that out. -

Every day that passes by, Sweden's strategy looks better and better. The only thing they should have done differently and they will be the first to admit it is protect the nursing homes much more so than they did. That has been their only failing. They never wore masks, they had freedom, practiced common sense social distancing measures and allow things to develop. I have such admiration for what they did, they knew it was going to be very unpopular with the rest of the world and they stuck to their beliefs and allowed the science and data guide their decisions. Now, unlike any of their neighbors they really don't have to worry about any more outbreaks (so it seems) whereas their neighbors do. -

Not sure what is going on, but ever since Kamala was selected as the VP choice and throughout the convention, betting odds have been consistently moving this race closer to parity. I've seen 2 polls so far and no convention bounce. -

Deaths are at 980 (7 day moving average) off of a high of 1070 from about 12 days ago. Expect the true deaths to follow this trajectory with a 4-6 week lag. Lots of the deaths that are counted on any given day typically are not from that day but anywhere from days to weeks earlier. Sort of like backfilling. -
