  1. I've brought this up a number of times. I honestly believe that a significant percentage of the people who have died "because of COVID" either died not because of COVID or were within weeks of dying.
  2. Their defense is gonna struggle.
  3. Let's take a look at Miami, Florida the "epicenter" of the COVID-19 world, according to very credible MSM journalists.
  4. Because they have "Flattened the curve!" Success!!!
  5. Some of those Midwest states that have populous areas such as Detroit and Chicago are at about 10% antibody infection rates. So they still can get hit but it won't be nearly as bad as it was the first time around for them. San Francisco is one that hasn't been hit that badly yet, I think it's just a matter of time before they do get hit.
  6. When New York, New Jersey and other states mismanaged by leftist politicians were getting crushed, it was Trump's fault. But when Florida, Georgia and Texas was hit, it was Trump's fault and these states that are managed by Republicans fault. Soon, the right leaning governors states will have a good stable situation and will move to some left leaning governors where the "hot spots" will be and the blame will shift just to Trump. Do you see a pattern here?
  7. Arizona looking good as well
  8. The simple answer is.... No With that said, Florida looking better by the day. Lowest percent positive rate in over a month.
  9. Houston has burnt out. Remember all that panic porn a couple weeks ago how Hospitals were on the verge of collapse and Hospital beds, ICU’s were running out? Good times
  10. Trump won't do that. Because it would be an admission that he unnecessarily shut down the economy. He actually has mentioned Sweden in a negative light at least a good handful of times. With that said, this is yet another interesting study that shows that HCQ with the right combo works. None of the studies that have shown it not to work included this combo. Yet, every study with this combo has shown it to work. There is a good chance that this is going to be one of the largest scientific community failures that was politically/pharma motivated that I can think of in a long time.
  11. Great news! Looks like what we've been discussing over the past 6 weeks seems highly likely. Our theories on herd-like immunity at 20% COVID-19 antibody infection levels seems to be all but officially confirmed. I remember it was discussed early on and it was Sweden who first made this observation, not because of the T-Cell immunities from previous human coronaviruses but that 17% was their burnout level. Now we have a pretty clear indication that it's because of T-cell's from past common colds that help us fight this virus. This is a pretty big major F'ing deal and should significantly alter how we view COVID-19. More money should be put into this so that it can be positively confirmed.
  12. Oh my God! This is awful. Lots of death and permanent damage that will be inflicted upon people.
  13. And you're just an idiot.
  14. From the panic porn article: Headline: Coronavirus on track to overwhelm Houston hospitals in two weeks, mayor says This is the very definition of Panic Porn. Let's consider that A) He's a Democrat and B) This is NBC news. Did they end up having shortages as he panicked to the media? No. What did some of us say would end up happening? That the virus was going to do what viruses do, spread until it burnt out? That's exactly what it did. With this virus, there shouldn't be a need to panic provided you protect the most vulnerable. All these stories of PPE shortages, Ventilators, hospital beds, ICU's, etc etc. It's all panic. They never bear out except in the media. Everyone who needs a hospital bed or ICU or ventilator gets what they need. It's panic porn induced by Democrats and the media. And you have a bunch of uninformed people who buy into what they are selling and parrot what they have without any ability to critically think for themselves.
  15. Don't bother, he doesn't do nuance. He parrots mainstream analysis.
  16. That's one of Trump's problems. He doesn't get into the weeds, frankly he doesn't understand it. He sees things from a very visceral point of view, he tends to have good instincts but when pressed to discuss in depth on a granular level, he's unable to do so. Even though Cuomo made some horrendous decisions that actually cost people lives, he was able to at least pretend to show empathy and explain things on a very detailed level. It provided comfort to people, it demonstrated that he at least appeared to know what he was talking about. Trump on the other hand looked oafish, appeared to have no mastery of the underlying topic. And his answer on John Lewis showed pettiness. Then when asked about the deaths he said "it is what it is". Even though I agree with the sentiment in that the Virus is here and we have to do what we can, his answer showed no empathy. I understand that people on this board are ok with that and frankly it doesn't personally bother me one bit. But as someone who is rooting for him to win, I thought that interview highlighted a lot of his weaknesses. What are we gonna do? He is who he is.
  17. How about you stop pretending to know what you're talking about? All you do is parrot mainstream news, you lack any ability to critically think for yourself when it comes to COVID-19.
  18. Gene, you’ve lost a step.
  19. Great interview. Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s top chief who made the risky and controversial recommendation to not have the draconian style government goes in depth about their situation and why they had higher deaths than Norway and Finland. All the things we have been talking about he discussed. Sweden’s differences in migratory patterns, their population density and the role it plays with the spread. He went on to discuss that viewing COVID-19 in a vacuum is a mistake. That he believes the IFR will be somewhere not too much higher than the common flu. Between .1-.5%. He says that it’s odd that countries are still pushing for masks because there is no new evidence that has come out to suggest they help. He also touches on T cell immunities and how they have most likely reached a herd-like immunity. That his only lament is that they didn’t protect nursing homes better early on. And that they were a success. @Doc Brown Have a listen. I think you will see a lot of the things I mentioned he goes in depth with those things. This think you’d appreciate the added perspective
  20. I think we will begin trending down slightly beginning sometime in mid to late August. Not sure it will be a precipitous drop since other regions are starting to bubble up but the main population zones as you mentioned will have burnt out and will start trending lower. I do think we will hit new lows in deaths by time late September comes around.
  21. Can we not just say that this is now pretty much conclusive? It's funny how guys on a message board are light years ahead of mainstream professionals and analysts when it comes to some of these topics such as COVID-19. We've literally been talking about this for well over a month now.
  22. There will be blood

  24. This is why it’s called panic porn. When mainstream outlets promote sensationalist stories and headlines, view it with extreme skepticism and do your own research that is outside of the mainstream. They have no incentive that involves the whole truth.
