  14. Deaths are now below 1000 a day with 7 day moving average. Over the past couple days the pace of decline in deaths have accelerated.
  15. My gut tells me that with the social distancing measures and most likely even higher flu vaccine use that cases will be markedly lower than previous years.
  16. Gummi Bear has been one of the best Twitter data analysts when it comes to COVID. His projections here pretty much line up with what I believe. I think we will hit new lows in deaths by October sometime and continue to go lower after that for a bit. The question remains is does cross reactive T cell immunity along with 20% covid antibody truly create herd-like immunity? Some believe it doesn’t but the actual evidence suggests that it likely does. And will we see a resurgence of viral infections throughout suburbs and rural parts of the country in the late fall early winter?
  17. Cases in Florida and positive percent rate continues to rapidly decline, which to this day is still the best forward looking indicator for viral prevalency. Clearly the virus has burned out in some of the population zones. Things moving along nicely.
  18. I don't see him making the final roster, special teamers are at a premium for many of the 2nd/3rd string spots on the team and there are guys that can perform that role better than he's able to that are competing with him. With that said, if you get a RB down or two he could be called up from the practice squad.
  19. Deaths down to 1015 (7 day moving average) Its beginning to make that steady descent in deaths.
  20. I hope this turd doesn’t become president
  21. More on excess deaths indirectly due to COVID and stringent social distancing measures. Suicide edition due to economic factors And this from CDC And more regarding suicides And who is it that typically commits suicides at higher rates than any other age group? You guessed it - Younger folks The more we apply logic and facts the more we understand that younger people are disproportionately affected by a wide margin when it comes to excess deaths caused by stringent social distancing measures. Because he is an in-the-box thinker.
  22. It's just common sense. Imagine how many people have died from not getting the care they needed because of the stringent social distancing measures.
  23. More on the excess deaths and how a statistically significant number of them were due to the stringent social distancing measures. OHCA is out of hospital cardiac arrests —-“it is interesting to note that the excess in OHCA was greater than the number of patients who died with COVID-19 diagnoses during the same time frame.”—— and the crux of the overarching point that we have been making: —- “ Finally, patient fear of contracting COVID-19 while seeking care may lead to avoidance of lifesaving therapies. A review at the patient level is essential to obtain a more granular understanding of these data. However, in the interim, providers should consider the unintended consequence of the pandemic response in the context of chronic and emergent cardiovascular disease. ” —— This is just one of the many forms of deaths caused by the stringent social distancing measures.
  24. At this rate within about a month Texas should be below it’s pre breakout hospitalization rate and make new lows in deaths in about 6-8 weeks.
