  1. Past hour
  2. That beautiful smelling tree on our neighbor’s lot that hangs a bit over our driveway damn near killed my wife when it bloomed this spring. I loved it, but the doors had to stay very closed. When we moved from Hilton Head to Sarasota her new allergist (who turned out to become close friends) ran some tests on her. Not only did she not react much, but she asked what he was doing. He asked about her previous allergist and his tests. He never said anything (at least for a decade) but he reported the other guy and he was a total crook.
  3. That’s exactly what I said. They weren’t enough to get us there. Now whether you wanna call it a reload or a reboot is essentially semantics. Notice that neither of us used the word rebuild.
  4. I’d be willing to bet your mother would reject the notion she was a victim in any way shape form. I also recognize how fortunate we were. I never made the point with @daz28, but were my father here today, he would tell you my homemaker mother was the backbone of our family, and that had little to do with what her occupation. Great to hear on you and your wife—also likely a very strong person to chart that path.
  5. I think beane/McDermott know what they're doing. Every season we seem to say "what are they doing!?" and then somehow, they end up being right (for the most part). I think Joe Brady has a plan in place with the offensive group the bills have. I said it a few months ago, and I'll say it again, nobody we lost this offseason had a huge impact on games. I think losing Morse sucks, but everyone else is replaceable. Our best games last season were with Diggs basically being nonexistent. I hope other teams and fans sleep on the bills offense. I can't wait to see these guys thrive
  6. Slime now claims to know everything about you politically? The garbage never ends with that clown.
  7. The guys who are gone weren't enough to get us over the hump. And it's not a reboot, it's a reload. The Bills are the class of the AFC East until proven otherwise. McD will definitely play rookies. But as I said before though, they cut Morse and traded Bates with the idea of having McGovern playing C, which he is geeked over. It will take a lot for them to change their minds. I hope VPG can do it.
  8. Go lightly from the ledge, babe Go lightly on the ground I'm not the one you want, babe I will only let you down You say you're lookin' for someone Who will promise never to part Someone to close his eyes for you Someone to close his heart Someone who will die for you and more But it ain't me, babe No, no, no, it ain't me babe It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe
  9. I voted for Barry the first time and then realized my mistake in his first year and became an Independent. That's 7 years before Trump became the Repub nominee. So no, MAGA has in no way set my mind.
  10. I can see the logic there, but this was about 10:30-11:00 am in the morning, on some busy roads.
  11. Trust the science. Also the doomsaying hypocrite grifters.
  12. I think it will be a competition at C. No reason it wouldn't be. It's a false narrative that McD won't play rookies. Unfortunately teams rarely are willing to sub out guys on the OL for a drive or two unlike DL. If he doesn't win the job in camp he probably won't get a shot to play this year barring injury. He probably will dress for game day as I don't think there is another backup C on the roster now( correct me if I'm mistaken).
  13. That's the thing about non-premium/devalued positions...........you can usually find some players who look like they can become early career starters on day 3. Time will tell if they made a mistake selecting those positions to patch holes instead of leaning into premium position players at WR, OT and pass rusher and gambling a bit for potential higher impact return. It was a super-needy looking draft. Those tend to disappoint, hopefully that's not the case.
  14. ⬆️ Commie. Waste of skin moron.
  15. I think the whole concept of the Bills having a "deeper" WR corps thing started when they signed Curtis Samuel and everyone assumed they would also select a WR in round 1.........and probably trade up to get one of the top 4-5. Samuel was going to be WR4......coming off another 600+ yard season. Yeah, that's good depth. But then they traded Diggs and ended up with the 8th best WR off the board(a younger player who looks like a project in Coleman). Now, the Bills just have a whole bunch of guys who have never even had a single 900 yard season in the NFL for the first time since the mid 1980's. Coleman never even hit 800 yards in college. Guys coming off 200-300 yard seasons and projecting to be your 4th and 5th WR is not notable "depth" either. What they have is a very suspect WR corps.
  16. Indeed - your entire mindset is set by MAGA - you are aligned 100% with the cult despite not knowing who Rufo is and being an independent. DEI started in the 60s and Jimmy jumped on the bandwagon in 2023. Sit down Karen.
  17. Pollen, ragweed and mold. The pollen is really kicking my butt right now. Woke up yesterday morning with my throat and right eye swollen after mowing the lawn and doing some other yard work on Thursday. Allegra is what I take. I’ve been thinking about starting to get allergy shots.
  18. I don’t believe in arm punts. It depends on the other team actually intercepting it. They’ll be some dumb or selfish players who will intercept it, but the smart play will be to bat it down.
  19. Today
  20. Are they ‘relying’ on them. No. But this was a draft of need, not luxury. And I’m betting next year will be the same. As I’ve said many times they swung for the fences and missed. Now they need a reboot to get us over the hump and back to the promised land. It’s a process. 😉
  21. Guys still have to get open. It doesn't help Josh if he's continually having to go to his 3rd/ 4th/5th read cuz 1st and 2nd are covered. Sacks will go up. You can't mask quality with quantity. We're taking a chance that guys will either step up or reverse their career trajectory to date. No one, besides perhaps Cook and Kincaid, are proven and even those guys have only one year of demonstrated success
  22. Really really not trying to be a cynic but didn't Josh say the same things about Kumerow?
