  1. Past hour
  2. I know Anderson was hurt this preseason, so maybe they are mixing Hawes in for that reason. He is also listed as the first backup for both guard spots and center, so maybe they want to reduce the wear on him. But a TE like Hawes makes more sense. I kept waiting on Anderson to catch a wide open TD last year, but it never happened. Using a TE will keep the defense more honest than Anderson, and Hawes seems to just as good at blocking.
  3. Maybe?... but he's become so injury prone, is he reliable?
  4. Their offensive line while still having one of the best tackle tandems in the league is complete remade along the interior. They had Zeitler a reliable good vet leave in free agency and their All-Pro center in Ragnow retired. So they moved Glasgow into C and now they have two new guards a 2nd round pick in this years draft in Rateldge and a 6th rounder in 2024 at the other guard position. So out of your three interior spots all 3 players are playing in new spots and 2 are completely new players with fairly little experience. I think they were comfortable replacing one guard spot with Rateldge but when Ragnow retired not only did they have to replace the other spot but they had to reshuffled the positions. The reason Ben Johnson was able to do all those exotic play calls was because they had a complete wall in front of Geoff while also consistently being able to run the ball and do screens. I think they miss the offensive line play more than the playcalling but yeah it can take time for a new coordinator to gel.
  5. Our WRs are smart. They come back to the ball when they need to, as demonstrated on a few plays last night. If we ever have a receiver that stands around with Josh scrambling, he should be quickly on the bench. They are not great receivers, but they are great working with Allen.
  6. and LBs and DBs and Cheetahs... lol seriously I am not sure there is a D lineman that is gonna tack LJ 1 on 1 ... he is just a unique dude... you usually need pressure help or catch him flat footed...
  7. I was really pissed when they went right to it on the opening drive. If they were doing it once just to give them a look they felt they needed to defend, OK. Otherwise, save that stuff for January and take advantage of your 6'5" artillery piece in the pocket.
  8. I literally just came here to post something similar. There's a lot of hypocrisy in how people are evaluating this game. The Ravens were world beaters through 3 quarters and the Bills didn't deserve to be on the same field as them. Yet, when the Bills game back, it's because the Ravens fell apart, not because the Bills started to play to their potential with MVP at the helm. To me, both teams had up and down moments. McD said the team was overhyped in the first half and the defense settled down in the second half. I also think Josh took the fans leaving early personally. End of the day, sometimes stats and history are out the window when you have two great teams go against each other. They could play tomorrow and the Ravens could win 3-0. However, when it comes to the Ravens vs Bills, it seems like people can't give credit to both teams. It has to be one was bad or one was great.
  9. Right. And how did the Ravens manage to lose the game? Because the Bills managed to win it.
  10. Alexander will soon make a good broadcaster I think. One of the best, just a few years ago--and we know how good he was because our little boy Diggs could not stomach him. Once he signed that huge contract, I think in 22, which made him the highest payed CB?, it seemed he pretty quickly became complacent. When you have tens of millions in the bank, and more to come, easy to see how someone may soon decide to hang it up. You have to be highly motivated to play in the NFL. He seems destined for something else, soon.
  11. I agree. I think it was a solid 1st game from him. I don't think he is an elite game wrecker, but he looks like he can be very good if he stays healthy. And if he gets more attention from defenses, that hopefully frees up Rousseau.
  12. Yeah but they do sell sahlens Which is like the Rolls-Royce of hot dogs
  13. BlueRed might be the same guy who put 5 grand on the Vikings to beat the Bills a few years back. πŸ€”πŸ˜
  14. I said to a friend of mine that having to get the ball back in Allen's hands prevented McDermott from crawling back into his familiar conservative defensive comfort zone with a 1 point lead. Basically, his bad decision making saved him from his bad decision making.
  15. My favorite collinsworth lowlight was when flowers allegedly caught that third down pass before halftime and the replay came up and he was like β€˜did he get it yes he did’ real quick and they moved on when you can see him kinda trap it with the ground and the ball move a little lol don’t think they even reviewed that one. also the whole discussion about Coleman stepping out of bounds without really talkin about that he was obviously shoved out on the 2 pointer πŸ˜‚
  16. I never said it was mine........
  17. Physically he reminded me a lot of his brother. And I like his brother A LOT 1st quarter aside, I thought he looked really good. Gave their RT a lot of trouble second half. It was refreshing to see after Miller.
  18. All they talk about is bad coaching, playcalling etc...some of these guys just can't deal with the fact Josh Allen is flat out better. How many times does this have to happen before they realize it.
  19. Do you think it’s the right course of action for your beloved reliable mainstream media to try to keep this story under wraps for as long as they can? Your idiotic reply here makes me think you do. Did you see that story the NYT put together on the Minnesota kook?
  20. I believe he would have had a sack or two if not playing against Lamar
  21. Oh! I saw 'Roger' and wondered what Goodell was opining about. 😁
  22. rewatching this like ten times and laughing Great call I was peeing and missed it , my Son was telling me last nite about Oliver Great blitz and coverage call This aint Leslie Frazier's defensive play calling no more 🀠
  23. I think your wife may be humoring you in regards to what she considers a footlong πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ 😜
  24. Statistically a designed run is safer than a scramble There is zero data that shows he's more likely to get hurt.. in fact the long-term NFL studies show he's less susceptible to getting hurt on a designed run And running quarterbacks do not get hurt at any more rate than pocket passers In fact it's the tweeners who don't know if they want to be a pocket passer or want to be a runner that get hurt the worst.. Josh Allen is in the same injury category as a Tom Brady.. they don't get actually injured often.. pure runners pure pocket passers are on the same injury rate.. the lowest bracket of quarterback injuries And there is zero correlation between designed runs and quarterback injuries in fact they have a bigger chance of getting hurt getting knocked down stationary in the pocket
