  1. Past hour
  2. Lol. I posted in the wrong thread.
  3. the biggest blunder was they had fred on the roster and brought in cj and marshawn with out really giving fred a chance. I think they wasted about 3 years of production they could have had out of fred and then when he was producing on the field they still kept bringing backs in, while he kept out producing them...was a bit mind boggling
  4. Anything over 47 mil is to much
  5. Total revenue [$551] minus Player Expenses [$282] = $269 but op income is $101. What makes up the $159 of additional expenses? How much is for coaches/GM/employees? stadium lease pmts? travel? .... ???
  6. And then when he got back from his 3 game suspension he was being outplayed by FredEx. He had already been hit with a 3 game suspension. The next one was going to be a big one.
  7. Urgh. Draft pundits had us taking Jason Pierre-Paul or Mike Iupati. Possibly Bryan Bulaga. (Though some had us taking Jimmy Clausen. Could you imagine that nightmare!)
  8. The same people complaining about the deal are the same ones that'll cry endlessly that this team "laCKs pLaYmAKeRs!" He's a playmaker, you retain guys like that.
  9. Jerry Butler says hold my beer.
  10. Anyone have any intel on when Bass is expected back or how SVPG is progressing? For SVPG, did he tear his calf muscle as he’s been out for awhile.
  11. Don't forget Perry Tuttle! Although, Jerry Butler was a major outlier to the poor run of Clemson players.
  12. Been around some 25 years. Way back had good magazines on team and player analysis. Was always on the mag racks at stores like Wegmans
  13. Oh my freaking God what a train wreck that press conference was—lol. Thanks for posting! I forgot how dark those days really were. That’s like a SNL skit (from when SNL was good). ”I’m not the smartest guy in the room. I’ve never been accused of being the smartest guy in the room.” —Buddy Nix
  14. So you expect Beane to see the future? If people knew the future do you think Jefferson would have been the 4th WR taken in that draft or would he gone first instead of Henry Ruggs? Maybe we should slam every GM who passed on Jefferson before the Vikings took him too because they all should have known a guy who played a lot of slot in college was going to be the best 1 or 2 WR's in football. Sorry, the hindsight stuff is a waste of time and not based in reality.
  15. Alright then who is going get home for us when we need it? Not being snarky, seriously, what’s the vision of pass rush look like?
  16. Yes agreed but it isn’t out of the question he could be released. His contract is largely signing bonus prorated over the next few years (3.5 mill total). It’s a tiny fraction of the cap. With his salary being no longer part of the guaranteed chunk of money due to suspension, he could be sent packing if the rest of the lot show up big. I think this is unlinkely still, but I wouldn’t say he is a lock to be brought back to the 53
  17. His UGA days are going to allow him to get absolutely loaded doing that job in Atlanta. Nice fallback to have.
  18. Overreaction. Money on Bishop starting at safety to start the year. Cam is also not practicing, signing Tre just about numbers now Don't be rational on here, thats not allowed. Now that the Cook deal is done, people have to find someone else to gripe about.
  19. I don’t think it would have been something that moved the needle for almost any other fan base. There’s such fervor here for this team at this time. Allen is so good and in his prime and we have been so close for 5 years now, people don’t want to see anything derail a potential SB run.
  20. you would’ve sold it for a couple cases of beer when it doubled and that would be way worse
  21. Spiller had the one big year in 2012 with 1,700 (1,244 rushing and 459 receiving) total yards and 8 TD's. I thought he had turned the corner. He had another solid year in 2013 with 1,100 total yards, but only 2 TD's. Then he quickly faded off into anonymity.
  22. No one's giving us anything for a guy under a 1 year contract with 5.43m in guaranteed money that's suspended for the first 6 weeks of the year.
  23. I would give you credit for seeing something that not one single rational person could have imagined. Let’s not hold our breath on that. Looking forward to the egg on your face in Nov 2026.
  24. If i recall, he was one strike away from a huge suspension. He had the hit and run. Plus he was arrested with a loaded firearm in his vehicle while in a state that prohibits it.
  25. I’ve been saying this for 4 years. You don’t have to vote for or like Republicans. You don’t have to vote for Trump. What you absolutely should not be doing is voting for the DEIMOCRAT party. Ever. They are the party that hates the country. Period. Full stop. We can talk about their loving embrace of socialism. Their DEI policy. Their belief that everyone and everything is racist. Their open border policy. Their abandonment of American labor. And what they did during Covid and to the economy should never be forgotten or forgiven. All of it stems from a hatred of the core principles of limited government, the constitution, that we can own guns, and that we believe in God. And now we can add - Trump. If Trump supports it they hate that to. It’s insane. They got Democrats to support crime in DC this week. Their party no longer acknowledges nor respects those principles. It’s reflected in their deep blue ***t hole cities people can’t get out of fast enough. Everything liberalism touches turns to ***t.
