  1. Past hour
  2. play 20 games a year and by the playoffs every team will have half their opening day starters on IR.
  3. The biggest takeaway I had from last night's game is the most dangerous thing from the KC offense is off-script plays with Mahomes prance-scrambling to run for 1sts or find wide open guys at will once the play breaks down. Need to bring a rush with 4 while still containing him. I also hope the Bills O is practicing over and over what to do when a 0 blitz is brought at a crucial 3rd or 4th and short
  4. The 9:00 AM update had the hurricane hunters measure an increase to sustained winds to 180 MPH and pressure drop to 896 about 2 hours before landfall. The second strongest hurricane to ever make landfall in the Atlantic and that one was in 1935.
  5. wrong, they are required to do something, and you do do it every single time. I just wanted to argue, carry on.
  6. my intention wasn't to turn this into a thread on education, but some of this isn't correct. you can absolutely take AP classes in ny. i'm not sure what you mean by need to qualify, but they don't want kids who are failing earth science to take AP bio. otherwise any kid can take an AP course if they want. there's no more or less availability. and canisius offers less, "college level classes"...what? you do realize canisius is a college prep school? all jesuit high schools are. i went to the jesuit school in rochester, and we absolutely had AP classes. It's in no way an apples to apples comparison. those schools have far different expectations from their students. if you're a pain in the ass or don't do your work...you're gone. the work load alone is easily double to triple our local public schools. that being said, those schools aren't for everyone, but to say the offer less college level classes is insane and wrong.
  7. It's a report. It's possible they aren't being honest. But this is literally the 1st sentence in the 1st paragraph. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are not going to trade receiver Brian Thomas Jr. despite the second-year player's struggles to start the season, head coach Liam Coen said Monday.
  8. KC has better receivers of course, no one can argue otherwise. What you see with Mahomes though, is how great he is when things break down. He knows where everyone is at all times.. his line caves in but he buys time with twitchy movements and he gets the ball out to guys that break open. He anticipates it. When he does throw a pick or two (like last night), he doesn't go to the sidelines and sulk. He's yelling at himself and whoever can hear him. He gets mad and that pumps himself up to make some plays on the next drive.
  9. Yeah,I have always gotten the feeling that other GMs roll their eyes when the see him calling. Like, they know he's going to make an offer and seriously low ball them. He was the kid in the lunchroom trying to trade is bologna sandwich for 2 cupcakes and 3 chocolate milks to be named later
  10. Well we know the Chiefs DL will hold our OL from getting to the second level. And, we know their OT will false start every play. And, we know their grabby DBs will start out holding our WRs at the line. And, we know Mahomes will get away with grounding and Allen won't...........Need I say more. Intangibles goes to the Chefs
  11. I’m not disagreeing with you. How Beane and McDermott have assembled our WR core is horrible! We are literally getting NOTHING from Coleman, Samuel and Shavers and little if anything from Moore. Then you factor in Kincaid can’t stay healthy and your only reliable WR is Shakir. But yet we think our passing game is good! The S position isn’t much better. What’s even worse is Beane’s remedy was bringing back Gabe, Poyer, Hamlin and Jordan Phillips!
  12. It was a different set of rules back then too. All of OJ's running came before the NFL changed the rules to open up the passing game. Illegal contract and holding were not even a concept back then. Receivers faced physical corners off the line and would get cloth-lined or blindsided running their patterns and it was all fair game. Not anymore. A DB looks at a receiver funny or hurts their feelings with a little trash talk and he gets flagged for 15. Advantage offense which is why the focus is on the QB. Also, even in Kelly's era QB's got roughed up. You see classic games and by today's standards there might be 10 or 15 roughing the passer calls.
  13. It is interesting how much of KC's offense comes off schedule. Mahomes drops back, called play does not work, he runs around a while, then throws to a guy who is open by 10 yards or just runs. For all the sophistication that is Reid, much of the time it is sandlot ball.
  14. That’s pretty harsh about Shavers. Not saying he is a world beater by any means. But if he is dressing for games, let’s send him deep off of play action and see what he can do. Doesn’t he have some straight line speed?
  15. “This all misdirection by orders of Steve Bannon. The hats have already been made”. - nedboi
  16. I still don't get how people defend this, Shakir is his truly only weapon right now which they spent a 5th round pick on and all those other guys you mentioned are jags (Kincaid may be another weapon but it's hard to tell since he's always injured and his 1st 100 yard game in going on season 3).
  17. get ready for 2-3 game changing calls to go the Chiefs way......No chance Bills win this game....
  18. would make zero sense for the Jets and I doubt Beane has considered that
  19. THINK MAN, who in their right mind would trade for an injured DT. How about the salary cap ramification to the Bills. It would cost the Bills well over $20 milion in dead cap to trade Ed Oliver. Which means who do you want to cut so we can afford to trade Ed Oliver?
  20. That’s because our democracy is at stake and they are both more dangerous than TRUMP. Apologies for stating the obvious.
  21. I can't afford the disciplinary points.
  22. You are much more diplomatic than DC Tom.
  23. wonder if jets would trade us breece hall? be a great 2nd rb to cookie.
