Josh later said that was because the playcall came in late. He said we should have banged a timeout there. Two thoughts on that... 1. Is Josh not capable of calling a timeout on his own? 2. Was the play late because McD was taking too long to decide on whether to go for it or not, or was Brady just lost on what to do? Another possibility, McD was giving his input. I say that because I often see him hold a card up over his mic and talk while the offense is on the field. Im not saying he is calling the plays, but I dont recall ever seeing a HC micromanage so much before and I have seen it in other games too.

Karlaftis is just another version of Rousseau. Cook hasn't been very good, better this year than last but still meh. The other guys are role players or decent starters at best. KC didn't win this game because they're more talented than the Colts. They didn't even win because of the QB play. They simply out coached their opponent.

This season i don't think he has anyone to fall back on, good enough to take over the offensive game planning/play calling. If this crap continues with Brady, we can expect him to be replaced this offseason. The guy reminds me of Greg Roman now, and as good as he is with the run game, he is equally bad with the pass game. Is it that he keeps utilizing the same plays/play calls as teams seem to know exactly what to expect play by play? In particular, that WR screen to Shakir that never works.
