He has come close to squandering the supreme benefit of the doubt that he had gained by drafting Allen - seven years ago. Since paying Allen big money he has made bad decision after bad decision. This past offseason was an absolute travesty: he signed two expensive vets who were facing suspension, and has gotten next to nothing out of his first three draft picks. Meanwhile he went on the radio and insulted the fans about his handling of the WR position and now is scrambling because gee, the fans were right. Today he needlessly gave away to a rival a depth player the organization has invested in developing. He’s just bad at his job and has a thin skin to boot. With every move and non-move Brandon Beane becomes less and less impressive.
