McDermott still in over his head

My word choice may have been poor. I certainly didn't mean to say we don't have any good players besides Allen. We have a mix of good, mediocre, and bad players outside Allen. In other words, our non-QB roster is a lot like other teams and certainly worse than some. Beane hit a homerun with Allen and that can't be ignored. But if I ignore it anyway just as an exercise, he hasn't been an elite GM - the kind that builds SB rosters. -
Vrabel whining about the officiating in Bills/Pats

They also apparently forgot about the 1st match-up we had w/ them, which was fairly one-sided in their favor. -

Here's another one that should have wiped out Henderson's 2nd half TD: And I don't complain about missed calls like this, it happens to every team in every game. The officials are only human after all. But it's ridiculous to try and act like there was bias shown towards either team. -
Trump’s Rob Reiner Post

This is just wonderful for someone who grew up watching these guys - Rob Reiner and Albert Brooks, high school buddies. (True: Albert Brooks's original name was ... Albert Einstein.) I always thought Brooks was the edgier/funnier comedian/writer, but as I got older some of the contrasting sweetness of Reiner's movies started to grow on me. Both great American comics; I don't know how much of it translates to other cultures. What an awful end to a 65 year friendship. -

Yeah, bad look for Vrabel and really all of New England (although cant say I'm surprised at their fans). It's like they completely forgot about that 20-year Brady era where they got every call, the refs made up rules DURING THE GAMES for them, and the numerous cheating scandals that surrounded them. -

I like our TE room. One guy who is great in the pass game, not a blocker. One guy who is good in the pass game, good in the run game. One guy who is not much of a threat in the pass game, great blocker.

Is it too much to ask to get off to a 7-0 lead for once. The last 2 weeks were exciting wins, but I really don't need to see a 2 or 3 score deficit for the Bills at any time this Sunday afternoon.

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Dillenger4 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
What are you talking about?!?? maye had his chances. he couldn't read our D at all. His throws were out of bounds and high all day. he was lost buddy. He's an OK QB, I'll give you that. Like serviceable. Real coaches like our D co and head coach can figure him out with ease. (e.g. see yesterdays game). Your OC was runb out of 2 towns for a reason. Now he has a JAG in Maye and it shows. You guys will lose to Baltimore and the Phins. Bank it. -
well they did trade their stud CB in mid-season for draft picks.

I agree that the Bills benefited from several soft calls at very critical times, much like Mahomes. But I don’t feel the least bit bad about it. -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Lafromboise replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not about that. It's he's being hyped up as if he's in the josh allen, Patrick Mahomes joe burrow class. !@#$ stupid. Josh allen was 2nd mvp voting HIS THIRD YEAR and the whole media world was talking him down like he's freaking garbage. now drayke maye is the second coming of christ? With the easiest schedule in the league? Talk to me when drake does something. GTFO -
I thought of all that was warming up for Easter. 🐰 For me it’s the relationship between intake and exercise. I’m busy and active when it’s nice out. When the weather turns I not only get fewer steps in, but I’m sitting around more….thinking of what to snack on. Fewer steps AND more snacks is a double whammy.

I always thought Vrabel was a good coach but he always has that I smelled a really bad fart look on his face combined with supreme arrogance. He just is mad that his coach of the year chances just took a serious hit. -
Josh Allen is a huge Knox fan. This is enough for me.

rehab stays are very expensive. I think one can assume his parents paid for some, if not all of them. seems to me, they were very devoted parents. The pics of Rob and his daughter on a recent vacation appear to indicate a loving relationship. -

MasterStrategist replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know why people want to compare season 2 of Player X to Player Y. Josh Allen ascended like few others have done in the history of the NFL. Too early to tell on Maye, but these stat comparisons are just pointless. I said it yesterday, Maye is getting close to his ceiling IMO (having watched him a lot at UNC). He plays within a very well-coached system in NE, on offense. But at some point, that "it" factor has to be evident to see. We saw it with Josh his rookie year and 2nd season -- 3 4th Qtr comebacks in his rookie year & 5 4th qtr comebacks in his 2nd year. Those are the "it" moments, do you have a QB that is going to go out and win a game that you had no business pulling out or trailing in a critical moment. I'm not gonna blame Maye for yesterday, but facts are he did nothing when it mattered in the 4th qtr. That's just 1 instance though. Patriots haven't trailed in a 4th quarter during their winning streak. And Maye hasn't had a single 4th qtr comeback to his resume, rookie or this season. This isn't the only thing that matters, but he needs to show some of these traits and he'll get a shot in the playoffs / next few weeks potentially. -
I could see Hawes lining up whatever side Garrett is on?? Also run Reggie Gilliam or Gabe at him - all are excellent blockers
