All true but that doesn't negate that the Coleman pick was a bad one. He was never going to be an X WR in the NFL for several obvious reasons.That's just poor scouting and planning. It's hard to get over the top with such blunders.

There are many of them, I just picked a not too technical one here from Thad Brown and Carl Jones. A few notes I want to point out. It is noticeable the Bills have been focusing on taking away the best weapons. Metcalf in the Steelers game and Chase in the Bengals game. The difference is when Mecalf was shut down, the Steelers were cooked. The Bengals still had Higgins (healthy) and Gesicki, which made life miserable unless, I guess, you have the Texans defense - actually I'm not so sure how it would go if Bengals offense would play Texans defense in snow. Naturally, Jones mentioned he's wondering what would the Bills do against the Pats, specifically, Diggs. Very good point on the pass rushers reducing their moves to one, especially the first half. This is where we really missed Bosa and the disappointment on Rousseau whose game is built on power. Burrow was on his game, and with the weapon he has, it is HARD to stop. 2nd half, the Bills took chance on blitz. You win some, and you lose some but the point is you HAVE TO take chances then. By the same token, I'd say the Bills offense had to take chances on all those 4th downs. I myself and many in the media believed that is not sustainable, which I still believe 100% true. Against the Bengals in the situation we were in that game, it was the right move. But it should not be the right move against teams like the Pats that has a decent defense. The point about Lewis, I see why the Bills claimed Slay and it is unfortunate he won't report to address maybe the biggest weakness in our pass defense. Maybe the new Safety they signed could help. I don't think they gave enough credit to Thompson. In this defense, good to solid play of your MLB makes a big difference. The run defense requires everyone doing his job and we are getting that under Thompson vs Bernard.

There’s 100% tension between them. They’re rarely ever together. And while I have legit criticisms of McDermott, this year has made it pretty clear to me that Beane is the bigger hindrance to us getting over the hump. Just look at McDermott’s post-trade deadline presser.. you could tell he was under the impression help was coming and Beane failed to pull the trigger. Beane isn’t terrible, but when the margins are so tight and we are paying a QB 50M, he’s got to be better .. and this isn’t isolated to Beane.. seems every team with an elite QB is now struggling with this issue and the Chiefs are finally coming back down to earth as their cheat codes in Kelce & Jones age out.

Offense calling as aggressive. Defensive play calling is not. Thats the divide youre picking up on IMO. Not gunna beat a dead horse, but crazy that he can figure this out on one side, but not the other, the one he specializes in.

Yea. I’d tend to agree, and the Chargers beating Philly was huge, but they could easily go 0/4 in their final games.

When a team has to win out and have other team/teams lose it rarely works out. Anything is possible but I think the Chiefs are done this year.

I think it's obviously important for seeding, but I honestly don't care that much about the division. Once KC won the Superbowl in 23 as a wildcard, I try to do my best to enjoy the regular season because in this Allen era it really is about the playoffs. I've come to realize that the regular season is really not the most important thing as long as you make the playoffs.... Aaron Rodgers won 3 straight road gms in 2010, Elway in 97, Eli in 07 &11.... Etc I still get mad sometimes tho. Again I threw my phone after cooks fumble vs Cincinnati lol I'm hoping we can get enough wins to rest guys vs the jets. I'll b happy with that as a regular season achievement, but ultimately it's to best set yourself up for a playoff run

Yet the teams receiving stats sit in or near the top 5 of almost every receiving category. Tied for 4th with 11.7 YDS per reception. 3rd with 8.2 YDS per passing attempt. 2nd with a 69.8 completion percentage. Tied for 4th in 1st down percentage per reception with a 56.7% Tied for 1st in the league with receptions of 20+ yards with 50. 3rd with receptions of 40 yards or more with 9. Tied for 7th in TD receptions with 22. The Bills are 26th in passing attempts but are extremely effective when they do. Granted these are team stats the include the WR's, TE's, and RB's. But the point I am trying to make is that as a group, he obviously has someone to throw to. Yes #17 does have a hand in this obviously, but he can't throw it to himself. Well, technically he did once. Go Bills!!! And stop hating on our receivers!!!!

Not happening. The Chiefs last stand to save their season was Sunday night vs Houston. They didn't so their 2025 season is dead.

I’m sure this will change for me come Sunday, but I just don’t have the juice for this game that everyone else seems to have. If anyone can convince me that the Pats can lose to the Jets or Dolphins, I’d have a different tune, but it just seems like delaying the inevitable. And worst case scenario is us playing everyone Week 18 on the off chance Pats lose and it doesn’t matter. I don’t necessarily trust Vrabel against good teams in the playoffs. He’s also never had a Drake Maye.. and we’ll see what Maye looks like in Dec/Jan clutch football, but the closest they’ve come to remotely losing to a bad team is against the Flacco led/no Chase Bengals. And on the bright side, should the Pats eventually clinch the Division.. if the Chiefs manage to sneak in as the 7 seed, it just doesn’t seem right to have Bills/Chiefs in the Wild Card. Give me the 5 seed in that scenario & Bills/Chiefs at Highmark.. last game ever there, with a Super Bowl on the line. Absolute cinema.
