Exactly. I have avoided watching them this year. Cannot stand looking at Mahomes faces or how he wears his helmet. So I'm not really sure where they are different from last year. Basically the same group of players. Same coaches. I just don't get how they are struggling so bad.

According to NYT playoff machine, Bills currently have a 92% chance to make the playoffs. It is +/- 6 % depending on a win or loss. Not exactly a must win, but probably is to keep longshot chances alive for division. Wins against Texans and Pats raises chances from 14% to 40%.

I keep remembering the year we were 6-6 and everyone counted us out. The Chiefs absolutely could go on a run. I’d be surprised if they lose more than one more game.

It was ugly. Allen was 9/30 passing. Just 131 yards. He did add 54 yards on 4 carries. Our leading receiver was Coleman who had 49 yards on one catch for Josh's only TD. Cook played well having 99 yards on 22 touches and a TD. But even for how inept our offense was, it still took them converting an improbable 59 yard field goal at the gun to get the win. As long as Allen doesn't 💩 the bed against them again, I believe we win this game easily. -
JA - 1st player in NFL history with multiple 3 pass/3 run games
BADOLBILZ replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah when Allen throws 50 TD passes per 17 game season from age 36-38 I will say he "passed" Peyton Manning.😂 Unfortunately, because of Beane we've thus far been denied seeing if Allen could evolve into one of the greatest passers. And it's cost them as they've gotten deep into the playoffs and Allen has been unable to translate the run-around-til-someone-gets-open offense into production in the elite 8 level of the playoffs. They've had 1 good offensive performance in 7 of those games. -

I think this is Keon's last shot to really turn it around here. The team has tried to do less harsh actions but now they benched him and told him shape up or ship out. And sometimes guys need to be cut or traded to click or they never get it. I think if Keon shows up and works hard the rest of the season they will bring him back and try to get it to work if nothing changes expect him to be traded for a later round pick swap of some sort or in a package as a throw in for another WR.

Let’s assume that all your complaints against D’s are justified. Does that justify the current regimes actions? -

Coward!!!!! (Have a great time)

In a way I’m glad that happened. They would have lost to the Chiefs the next week and the “can’t beat the chiefs in the playoffs” narrative would be even worse now.
-
That's also correct. Agreed. - Forget WR 1. We don't even have a WR 2. Probably the worst WR corp in the NFL. - We have one of the worst defense. Josh Allen probably about to get us to 8-3 with crazy stats. And the award goes to Matthew Stafford? LOL. No disrespect to Matthew Stafford, but he's NOT playing in those awful conditions.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
Kirby Jackson replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would try to bring those 2 back. I’m assuming that’ll cost about the same as Torrence. I’m thinking Anderson fills one spot next year. Agree on the WR. I don’t think they can focus on the draft for that guy. They CAN gamble on George Pickens I suppose. He looked incredible last night. Can you depend on him? Who knows but the talent is there. Great call. He will be against Christian Gonzalez too. He does suck. Lol, everything posted is some manufactured way to pump him up. Lol, earlier in the thread we talked about ignoring his last 17 games but looking at his first 5. 🤣🤣 The Bills score more points when he’s out of the lineup. I haven’t compared the average depth of target for Ladd vs. Keon. I’d like to see it if you have it. If you compare Keon to other Bills receivers, I’d imagine that 41% is by far the worst. He plays with the MVP of the league and is one of the least efficient receivers in the league. -
wrs are weak. turn josh loose...the winter soldier...Brady let Josh be josh

Not sure this answers your question but I'm worried about our defense regardless, and then I'm also worried about their defense. -
Easy to say if we had a normally functioning defense. Our defense has a better chance at letting him break the NFL Playoff record for yards in a game than causing him to fumble once.
-
Without, at least for this week.

I said WRs and Shakir still made a catch, albeit for negative yards, my main point it's one of the rare times all have been on the field at the same time this season, specifically Palmer and Samuel.

How do the Bills fix their road game woes?
dollars 2 donuts replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Side note (don't shoot me): Since the start of 2023 the Bills are 11-11 on the road, including playoff games. ...and they have one on the road in Houston in almost an entire generation dating back to 2006 when I believe another Josh (Reed) made a simply gorgeous back of the endzone toe tap TD pass reception from JP Losman, with seconds left in the game, for the go ahead score. Are the Texans better with or without CJ Stroud? -
I think we may be set at S for the foreseeable future. Bishop will be the full time starter and has really developed into a playmaker. IMHO, the ceiling for him is very high and the trajectory is clearly pointing straight up. Right now, Poyer has helped immensely in Bishop's development and I think Poyer is enjoying this ride. He still has the skills but I read a couple weeks ago he believes this is it for him. Maybe he retires and becomes a coach next year. He would be very good at it. Opposite Bishop, I can see the Bills moving Taron from NCB to the other S this offseason. Hancock will be the backup. IMHO, Taron would be an excellent S. He is a sure tackler, good in coverage. May not have the same fast twitch reflexes from a couple years ago (hence the move) but he is smart and knows the defense. With Hairston and Benford at boundary CB, we need to find another NCB in the draft. I do believe our secondary will be a major strength of this team next season.

Week 12, Bills v. Texans, PREDICT THE SCORE!

I found a couple free HMO plans thru blue cross/blue shield that look pretty darn good. I can get the exact name of the plans if anyone wants them. The coverage appears better than my mom’s old independent health plan (which she liked). We were able to compare it to the new plan independent health is offering to replace hers for $40/month and it has better coverage than that plan too. We are leaning toward one of those 2. The one plan has slightly lower out of pocket costs in some stuff like x-rays ($25 vs. $50) and out patient hospital ($375 vs $475). But the other plan provides an $81/month credit toward the Medicare part B premiums that are deducted out of social security payments every month. So I think we are leaning toward that one. Ive had blue cross/blue shield for many years now and love them. It’s not Medicare though. Next step is to call blue cross/blue shield directly. That’s been helpful for us in eliminating some plans we were considering. Personally, i’d recommend everyone do that before choosing your plan. Once you have it narrowed down to a couple, call those specific insurance companies and talk to them to make sure you are reading/understanding everything correctly. Double check that your doctors and medications are covered, etc.
