  1. Past hour
  2. Guess you forgot about the Colts game where he made multiple long toe tap catches on the sidelines in critical situations? We really have short memories here I guess.
  3. when we had Emmanuel Sanders Gabe was a real good #3 receiver for the Bills.
  4. The deadline to be fully cap compliant as opposed to top 51 cap compliant was yesterday at 4pm. Prior to Tuesday at 4pm prior to the opening kickoff you only have to be under the cap accounting for the top 51 roster spots cap hits and the dead cap/void years. But yesterday at 4pm you have to account for the PS, injured reserve, and the last two roster spots. I Would imagine that the Bills probably needed this move to absorb the PS and last two roster spots plus have an emergency in season fund.
  5. Deon may care, but if I’m honest, I don’t care at all, dude is a multimillionaire, he is doing fine financially,
  6. i am not here to defend josh. we are talking about lamar jackson. that's the problem is any time someone talks about lamar they deflect to every other tangent possible. who won? it's a team sport not a qb vs qb dual. unless you're taylor swift you realize qb's don't play each other. well, we now know swifty has an account here and is a ravens fan.
  7. Again, whatever folks need to tell themselves to justify STEALING, good for them. If you don't think that consumers are footing the bill for enhanced security measures, subscription bleed, etc., you're totally delusional IMO. Just because you can't see all of the measures taken w/r/t digital content (as opposed to the fiberglass locking shelves at CVS, etc.), doesn't mean that expensive measures aren't being implemented. And those of us who pay full freight are paying for them. (Again, I know that a prevailing world view now is that if you pay full price you're a sucker. Times have changed.)
  8. Is that the game Hal Garner sacked the QB late while crawling on his knees?
  9. Remember when Netflix cracked down on all those account leechers, which then forced more people to pay for Netflix, which then resulted in the company lowering their prices? Yeah, I don’t remember that either.
  10. There’s only so much they can do.
  11. We needed it to get under the cap and to help when we lose someone, as we always do, during the season. OR... Beane trades another 3rd for a veteran
  12. In general, on all of yahoo’s leagues. It’s not the picks for this specific TBD league. I made that mistake my first year playing pick’em. I was letting it influence some of my picks, thinking I was making a “safe” pick everyone else in the league made too. Or the opposite pick of most in the league (to try and gain ground on them). But it has zero to do with the picks made by others in your league. Also, just FYI - the team listed on the left of the column is always the favored team to win. yes. On the main fantasy page, above the league name where it has these 3 options: “create group” “join group” “fantasy profile” click on fantasy profile. Then when it takes you to the new page, along the top click “history”. That will show your history for every year you played in a yahoo league.
  13. In the wake of this news, streaming companies should be announcing their lower rates any day now.
  14. I do doubt that if Piracy didn't exist that these corporations would charge less. They actively turned down an offer from ESPN for more money for NFL Sunday Ticket to be much cheaper and actually have al a carte pricing because they wanted to protect the price point.
  15. LOL ok. Yeah I get that this is a prevailing view these days - theft from big companies is fine because they're greedy. I don't agree that it's fine, nor do I agree that it's victimless, but again, I understand that it's a commonly-held core belief now.
  16. You think if they forced everyone who streams illegally to pay for those streams, then all prices would lower substantially? I don’t. The money would then move to the various streaming platforms and owners/players at these events would become even more wealthy.
  17. ravens fans should be familiar with really weird division opponent games. Odd games like that one happen all the time against division foes. I mean, didn’t jameis winston and the Browns shred the Ravens last year?
  18. You're not paying higher prices because others are stealing. You're paying higher prices because of corporate greed, which would exist with or without piracy.
  19. No, that production is usually distributed among multiple receivers we leave open; KC just refused to cover Gabe or fell down when they did. It was an all-time great game, but that’s it; it’s a one-hit wonder.
  20. This might really impact their quest for third place in the AFCE.
  21. The more fragmented they make the games in terms of streaming platforms, the more illegal streams we're going to see. I can afford as many of these services as they want to throw at me, but I'm not going to buy anything outside the Season Ticket on principle. What I expect the bean counters at the NFL don't understand is that with ubiquitous cloud computing platforms that can be spun up and turned off in moments with essentially infinite capacity, it'll be as successful as the war on drugs trying to stop it
  22. I have no hypocrisy on the Epstein files. I wanted them released 15 yrs ago. The reasons for not releasing them must be bad, really bad (or is it good, really good?).
  23. 1.6 bil is wild. You’d think if they were smart they would have done a couple hundred mil and just went into hiding
  24. Three things here: 1. I want one of those trophies. 2. Rapp brought no game. He refused to answer any player questions. 3. Hamlin should have been disqualified on the spot for even attempting to defend Ranch.
