That was the same play. Bosa was coming off slowly - I think he felt he had time due to the substitution.
-
Yes, please! Eagles don’t use him. He’s a beast and would be infinitely more happy here where Josh would get him more than 2 touches a game.
-
Could you imagine? McDermott would sit him until he “earned it” then he plays 10 % of the plays in his first 3 games

Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone
Paup 1995MVP replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s a real short sighted approach. The defense has dominated one game out of 4. The Saints went into Seattle and were curb stomped by the Seahawks 44-13. We were 2 inches from losing the lead in the 4th qtr after Rattler’s pass was a smidge low to Cooks who pretty much waltzed between both our safety’s who had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. That is ***** defense. And for whatever reason-be it talent, scheme, motivation we play ***** defense a lot. Our offense is good because we have a ridiculously great generational QB, a great RB, and an excellent run blocking O line. However, we run an offense that isn’t using the talents of our QB or our receivers to the best of their ability. Throwing only 2 targets to Kincaid is inexcusable. As is throwing no targets to Coleman in the second half Is inexcusable. We have Palmer Shakir Kincaid and Coleman. All are good players and are being underutilized. Yes we are 4-0. And it’s a close team oriented group of guys. But the coaching and playcalling on the whole is average at best. And eventually mediocrity will get you beat. -
RFK In Charge of Health Care

Hmmm, Fauci must have been lying -
From my couch the problems would appear to be, in order: LB (particularly the stunningly lost DWilliams), inconsistent rookie DT's and then safety (especially Rapp, who has been gawdawful while Bishops is getting somewhat better).

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Offside Number 76 replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, Coleman has missed more games due to injury (4) than Worthy (3), right? And that's without having an oaf of a teammate run him over. So that takes care of the "best ability is availability" argument. Very basically, for the other poster to say "well, what's Worthy done the last three weeks," is incredibly lazy. And inapposite, for that matter. I like Coleman--a LOT. I want him to succeed. But he isn't the better player right now, and I'm certain that I'm not the only poster who thinks the Bills helped out their big rival in the AFC with that trade a couple of years ago. -
I knew he would start this after I saw their first game and they barely threw. Thats the problem with diva receivers! He doesn’t care about winning; he wants the ball!

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Nihilarian replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Buffalo had drafted Worthy, all the complainers would do is B word about his size and not seeing the ball enough. The Buffalo Bills are a run-first team now under Joe Brady, and Coleman is a great fit as he can actually block and catch those contested balls. I love this current offense as it's a tough, hard-nosed, dominant run scheme that doesn't turn the ball over. This also allows Josh Allen to be the best QB he can be in any offense. Just rewatch the 4th quarter against the Baltimore Ravens again. Bottom line is that Buffalo did the right thing in drafting Coleman. Alas, some fans are never happy. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW – At the One-Quarter Mark
SoCal Deek replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well done Shaw. I have to admit that I hadn’t ever considered the lack of preseason as well as you summarized it here. The first four games have lined up nicely for our Bills and if you look around the league it’s obvious that many other ‘good’ teams have yet to get their feet completely under them. -
Where is Landon Jackson ???

Shaq Thompson has been working in on some 1st and 3rd downs but imo should be taking all of Williams' snaps, including when they run 4-3 sets after Milano's return. -
maybe he embraces “everybody eats “ and he will he be happy with 4 targets a game and blocking for Jimbo C

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW – At the One-Quarter Mark
Rockinon replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
This style of defense demands stringent gap discipline. The Bills historically have been able to shut down the run when they really want to. I think all the new faces on defense is having a negative effect, but I believe it's fixable. The last couple of years the defense has seen some devastating injuries late in the season. This year though, it feels like so far the injuries have been minor and that reinforcements are coming back just in time to make a strong run later in the season. This plus those new faces learning their role within the defense is only going to make the defense better. Perhaps, by leaps and bounds. It's going to come as a great surprise to many here I think. -
I sometimes wonder if the Bills sort of use a Bill Walsh approach on defense as almost seems like they have scripted plays. We're going to do this and see what you do, then we will adjust as usually the team seems to play worst in Q1 on defense and gets better as game goes on. Yes I believe that was McD's complaint, they didn't give the Bills time to properly substitute. I do think the one time they were called for Too many men was on Bosa and the issue there was Bosa didn't show any urgency in getting of the field, he trotted off and slowed down as he neared the sideline. I'm guessing he will get a talking to on that one.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
JakeFrommStateFarm replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our passing offense is absolutely atrocious!! We have a small undersized slot receiver and Kincaid! That's it !! Where is our deep ball passing offense ??? -
He plays for the 4-0 Eagles and is mad he isn't getting enough touches So why would a team that goes with everybody eats and want receivers who celebrate each other as opposed to getting in their feelings think he would fit? And why would he want to go to a team where he may have a stat line of 2 catches 27 yards in a win and want him to be ok with it? The titans got a 1st for him...
-
Pretty sure the Eagles got a first for him
-
Not exactly a fit for an offense that spreads it around. Then there's the cost/compensation which would be high. We need a Safety because Rapp has been 💩. I'd be looking into Justin Simmons if I were Beane.
