  1. Past hour
  2. The Eagles were a pass interference play away from winning the 2023 Super Bowl, two years before Barkley. It can be argued the defense was the biggest difference-maker this time around. And technically, the Ravens went a round farther in the playoffs the season before they signed Henry. I agree that RBs have been undervalued for most of the last decade. But we need to be careful not to over-correct the other direction. This is still a passing league. By far. Cook is a nice weapon. But even without him, this offense is still among the NFL’s best. And this team is still s Super Bowl contender.
  3. Yurp. That's what first came to mind. Either that or simply beating the stupid Chefs at home.
  4. Agree, a last second win over KC in the AFCCG would tough for to enjoy. It’d feel like a repeat of previous games against KC, and there’d be no joy until the end. I’d enjoy every second of an easy win over them.
  5. I was surprised by the number of Cardinals fans I saw at the opener, and I mentioned it to some of them. They all basically said “Have you seen how friggin’ hot it is where we live? It’ll kill ya! We saw Buffalo on the schedule and that sounded good, so here we are!” 🤣
  6. They're waiting till hard knocks to tell us he signed? Would they?
  7. Midnight at the oasis Send your camel to bed Shadows painting our faces Traces of romance in our heads Heaven's holding a half-moon Shining just for us Let's slip off to a sand dune, real soon And kick up a little dust
  8. Hey Matt! I'll be at the Tampa preseason game too with my son (flying in from Rochester) and the wife!
  9. Hard to imagine having a better situation for your QB than having an elite RB that can score from anywhere on the field with a top 5 OL. Cook is a great player. Spend money on great players not below average or rarely used players like Epenesa, Samuel, and Gilliam. Cook is far better than the 8th best RB and Davis and Johnson are probably not in the top 25. I will concede that we don't know if Davis will get better and so far he looks like a faster version of Moss. So that is good. But the talent difference between Cook and the backups is significant.
  10. I love attending sporting events and concerts. They give something to look forward to, and I always have a great time. However, they only last a few hours, and typically I don’t remember much. Once the cost reaches this point, it’s impossible for me to justify. There are too many other ways to spend that much.
  11. I wish it was closer. Hoover’s Dairy in Sanborn has some delicious nog too.
  12. Curious once roster cuts are made, if Beane will look to strengthen the LB and S positions, if an experienced player comes available.
  13. Nah, he's a brother ✊
  14. Alright, so now we have the same roster with the only exception being i have Shavers and you have Forrest. My feeling is Shavers can also be used on Special Teams. When he was initially brought on board as a UDFA, it was in large part bc they felt he could be a core ST'er. I recall McDermott saying recently something along the lines of "we know what he brings as a WR, we need to see what he brings on Teams" - which I thought was odd bc again, I remember them hyping up his Teams potential when they gave him guaranteed money as a UDFA. So I guess we'll see how he performa and is evaluated there throughout the Pre-Season. We agree that last spot needs to play ST's. I just feel that if it's close, it should go to Shavers given his performance this off-season.
  15. Maybe True…but irrelevant …it’s how important he is to the bills
  16. Pelosi has been an unapologetic liar for years. Politically bulletproof because of her district. Lied about not knowing about enhanced interrogation, selling out the CIA in the process. Gross insider trader, who bet on the fact that others in Congress who were just as hopeful at doing the same thing would not expose her. Simply disgusting. When she passes away, I hope an expose is written about her. I could do no more greater service to this country than doing it myself. Simply corrupt.
  17. Saquon and King Henry were essential last year to their teams, and I think Cook helped us in the W column. I think we’ll win more games with him, maybe even the Lombardi. Go Bills!!
  18. I can’t get past the fact that Taylor Lewan is a disgusting person. Can’t watch a show that he is part of. *His Michigan teammate / roommate raped a girl. Lewan threatened to rape her again if she didn’t recant her story. Michigan swept it under the rug because Lewan was an all American player. He’s also a dirty player.
  19. Well good that eliminate that possibility
  20. They can’t fine him, he’s not doing anything wrong according to the CBA
  21. They didn't have preschool back in 1962.I remembered that a kid (remember his name) dropped awooden totytrain on my head in Kindergarten and it cut my scalp a little. They took me to a Dr. in the neighborhood and he sewed up (probably a few stitches). That was also the year I had mt tonsils out.
  22. At this point, I would play hardball, with Cook. After all, It is just 'Business'.
  23. Don’t listen to any of these guys. Buy the ticket in whatever time frame makes you comfortable. Now is probably early, if the price drops closer it gets, just pull the trigger. Take the stress out of it.
  24. No, I don’t agree. I think the difference between the 25th best RB and the 8th best RB is a handful of points. It’s why they aren’t paid very well (so GMs agree with me).
