Let's be honest - we all think it's an obvious PI because we are Bills fans and it worked for us.  Yes he hit him early, yes it is definitely pass interference....but if the play had been completely the opposite, we would now be probably 10 pages deep on how it wasn't PI and it was definitely an interception

Wow he was on the route break.. you are going to continue to state that his jersey wasn’t grabbed ok.. have fun with that.

Did I state his jersey wasn't grabbed? My post is very short, shouldn't be hard to read again. I'll wait.

Nah, the key was DB was not going for the ball. DB has the right to the ball. If he had located the ball and made the exact same contact it would be no foul. But as it was he contacts Shakir before he even turns his head. That becomes PI at that instant and the rest of the play is irrelevant. Except for prop bets and fantasy stats.

I was speaking about face guarding and not turning head by DB in general.

Vrabel is whining about the refs

I guess he forgot the TD that was wiped out due to a Torrence hold?

Imagine going on a talk show to whine about the officiating and making an objectively wrong statement like that.

Almost as funny as when Mahomes and the Chiefs lost their minds over Toney being called for the most obvious offside of all time.

And I've watched it work out that way so so so many times that I can't even pretend to care. The Lords of sports entertainment smiled upon us yesterday and I'm not asking any questions.

The "hold" on Coleman was also bogus. Coleman dropped the ball (again) all on his own. On the other hand, that pass the Pats receiver caught that hit the ground in the first quarter was not a catch.

Not bogus but probably before ball was thrown replay showed grabbing shirt... that being said Coleman has to learn to catch the ball no matter what defender is doing and dont anticipate being bailed out... this is not soccer.

I hate when fans say this because there was never a time when fans like officiating? I’ve been watching the NFL since the mid 90’s and intently since the early 00’s people bitched about the refs then as much as they do now. I’m sure my dad back in the 60’s and 70’s was complaining about the refs the same way as people do now.

I’ve yet to meet a fan who can point to an era of good officiating

I am your dad's age. have officials do pressers after the games and hold them accountable

I saw 2 or 3 obvious holding calls against Pats not called... so many missed every game... Bills have had so many calls go against them... imo sucks that it cant be more consistent but it isnt.

I thought the refs were a bit generous with us yesterday on some of the other PI calls, maybe to compensate for the terrible replay assist usage in the 1st qtr.   I missed the GD thread on gameday to hear what everyone's thoughts were on that deep ball to Shakir that was called a catch and a DPI even though the defender ended up with it.  I always thought that the rule was that if the defender was watching the receiver, not the ball and the receiver was trying to work back towards the ball, the DPI always gets called.   On that play however Jones did turn his head around at the end to make a play for the ball.   It kinda looked like Shakir partially caught it in his arms but he never actually had a hand on the ball that I saw.   Seems like that was one of those plays that was gonna stand as called with not enough evidence to overturn it either way.

Another thing I noticed yesterday on that 4th down stop at the end of the game it looked like Taron Johnson was holding the sh*t out of Diggs on that play.  Think we got away with one there.

Have we forgotten the Rams game a few years back, where Pufnstuf went up, caught the ball, had it cleanly, then the DB ripped it away on the ground?  And the refs gave the Rams the ball?  They *****in' owed us that call, so I make no apologies.

Honestly this is great and completely idiotic, they very well might have to play us again so it makes perfect sense to just put up some bulletin board material when you had no reason to.

Funny. Not a peep about the noncall on Shakir in Q4 of game 1 after the refs called that one tight all night that changed the trajectory of that game and our season.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the comments on the Pat*s subReddit on this topic.  We ALL watched the Brady years where any incompletion was an immediate "look for the flags." Pat*s get one game (ONE GAME) where all the calls don't go their way and it's a meltdown.

 - the refs cist us the game

 - the NFL wants Josh Allen to win

Cry me a river - you had that for 20 years.
