I guess the Hat and Tee Shirt celebration will have to be delayed until further notice.

I'll politely disagree.  Baltimore is a very physical team. Pats will get banged up.  And let's have them stack a few L's and see how they play when the Bills are tied for them in the W column.

I think he just meant the loss itself doesn’t do much for our chances…we’d still need them to lose one of Miami/NYJ either way but it would cancel out us dumping a game to Philly or whoever

One thing my wife and I both noticed is how much Vrabel is constantly complaining to the refs.  He appears to be a whiner and complainer.  Literally on every play.

that’s obnoxious and it was on display today

He always has been. And yet there are TBD posters who insist we should have hired him. To me, he's always been an overrated crybaby.

Epic comeback and epic collapse by the Pats.  All that good coaching by Vrabel's team in the first half largely disappeared in the second with lots of penalties and other issues.  I do wish we could start games better, however.  We are getting to be known as the second-half team.

I believe that the good coaching had more to do with them coming off their bye week and having two weeks to prepare. I believe once the game got passed the initial “hype” the two week prep wasn’t enough, the second half showed the two real teams.

Got my cardio for the day. Immediately after the game my BP was 190/102 w/ a pulse of 102.  Avg is about 135/85 & maybe 78.  I need a nap.

Same for me!  I took my BP pills after the game!

It’s Maye’s second year … that sounds a 2029 problem ..,

From Gemini:

Examples of successful quarterbacks who signed major extensions after their third year include:

Patrick Mahomes: Signed a then-record 10-year, $503 million extension with the Chiefs after his third season (his second as a full-time starter).

Josh Allen: Received a significant extension with the Bills after his third season.

Joe Burrow & Justin Herbert: Both were eligible for extensions after their third year and signed large deals with the Bengals and Chargers, respectively.

Brock Purdy: Though a late-round pick and not subject to the same rookie wage scale rules as a first-rounder, his unique situation led to a massive extension after he became eligible.

Sounds like a 2027 problem.

Likely had something to do with it but they may have two weeks next time too to be fair haha although then you don’t really know who you’re playing right away

Hand full of jersey.

Yeah, exactly.  The camera from the endzone clearly showed it.  Also, they blew the call on 3rd down on the Patriots first drive.  It was incomplete and McDermott should've challenged.

If Cooks hauled in that bobbled pass, does that open the passing game more? Plays being called? Josh’s decisions?

I think McDermotts decision not to challenge that 3rd down catch on the first drive set the tone for the 1st half.  Continuous blunders by the coaching staff really put us behind the 8 ball.  Luckily they made up for it in the 2nd half.  Helluva comeback.

Not really imo…the biggest one of all didn’t even matter because Shakir caught the ball with joint possession anyway.  The dpi on that play was definitely soft but didn’t matter. Coleman dpi was 100% the right call.  They’re grasping at straws

There was not a single call against the Pats that was not deserved.

So Shakir had good game and 5 receptions.
Palmer had 1 rec.

Coleman had 0 rec.

Cooks had 0 rec.

Do Bills have anyone else on the practice squad that can step in here?

Did Gabe even play today?

I wonder if the shootings in Providence last night got the Bills a bit out of their early game routine. Thought they were flat as a pancake until down 21-0, just didn't seem to have it together, and for a change it wasn't turnovers, just offensive ineptitude, and defensive and coaching blunders.

I get that.  But a loss does hurt them.  They can't clinch if the Bills beat Cleveland and it adds to the pressure the next week coming off of two game losing streak.  The NFL is about December football and momentum.  And then they have to face two divisional opponents where the intensity will be there regardless of record.  Jets would like nothing more than to send them on the road in the playoffs.  Same with FIns who will have significantly more to play for should they survive Pittsburgh tonight.  A loss to Baltimore also damages their chances for the number 1 seed.  Denver has a tough closing schedule so an AFC loss would hurt NE against Denver record.

Oh and just generally... we have played two very entertaining football games the last two weeks. Both have been the main game over here in the UK and the pundits have been loving both games.
