I'm just curious we hy one called got a look and overturned and one not. Sorry just feels odd.

Not sure if the eye in the sky is dependent on the production feed - if so it was likely the same reason that the Bills didn't challenge - the crappy production didn't show a good angle of the replay until way late

There are so many people who don't understand that someone in the booth is responsible for making the call to McD on whether to throw the challenge flag or not

It will be exploited for sure.

Hollins is in his 30s, played here 1 year, and you’ve seen most of his production. I’m not super worried there.

NE didn’t throw the flag. They had replay assist - something that should have been afforded to the Bills as well. Classic NE ref skew right away.

totally threw the flag, before assist got involved.

This.  Some know exactly what to do by instinct in the moment.  McD doesn't have that and I mean that.  He's a guy that likes to think on things, that's not a terrible trait for a person, but it is for a coach in pressure situations.

He surrounds himself with people like him.  No knee jerk personalities.  Guess what McD?
