That's just not true. If KC wins tonight they are absolutely making the playoffs. They still play the Chargers next week at home and own the tiebreaker over the one team that happens to be falling apart. A loss is required tonight

Your wrong on like 3 levels.

KC isn't officially done but they'll need either a Chargers or Texans collapse

I still think they have a legit shot because the Colts are done and the Chargers have a tough road. Granted, KC winning 4 straight seems like a stretch at this point.

Idk I think they probably would’ve tbh…chargers and colts seem primed for implosion and they woulda had the tiebreaker over Houston with two layup games to go and two pretty difficult ones (unless the chargers implode then it’s 3 easy ones). Kinda tough to find another playoff team if it wasn’t the 7-6 chiefs in this hypothetical

the colts will fold.

the chargers won’t.

the Texans are getting in, even if they lost tonight.  Their schedule is too easy, other than the chargers game.

To be clear, again.

They beat the f*** out of us a few weeks ago…the f*** out of us.

we haven’t won there in 20 years.

I still hope we win the conference, but the Texans have a cake walk to 11-6 or maybe even 12-5.

oh and we lost to them, there, in the playoff, in Allen’s career, too.

They beat the f out of us and we still had the ball at the end to win lol

They played much closer to their A-game than the bills did

And we can adjust our blocking scheme

We meet them again in the playoffs I think it's a 7 plus point victory even though they are talented.. they didn't beat us by 20

Beating us twice in one year will be hard because these are professionals and they take it personal

This would still be tied 10-10 if Reid didn't go for it on that 4th down. Just a mind boggling decision.

He altered the course of the AFC

Houston is going to be the 3 seed making them a legit round 1 game for us - or a game in Houston at any point.

Both their hard games are at Arrowhead

He definitely deserves blame. He has had bad throws and interceptions.

Is it all his fault? No.

But he has been bad tonight

Have you watched the game? Last 2 interceptions bounced off his own players 🙄

Never have faith in the Chargers preventing a collapse.

Will believe it when I see it.

Mahomes was gifted a Hall of Fame coach a hall of fame wide receiver and Tyreek Hill and a Hall of Fame tight end all in their prime

Now that he doesn't have that he's showing he's more Clark Kent than Superman

He's obviously very good I've been saying for years he's not as good as Josh Allen

It seems like a hundred years ago it was an unassailable fact that he was the best football player in the history of the game and would dominate the game for the next 15 years

That was a bad throw by Mahomes, behind Kelce and into a whole lot of traffic.

It's even worse than it looked live:

But somehow the broadcast doesn't even mention it. Everyone on Twitter talking about how Mahomes' team let him down today and Kelce ended their season.

Oh well. KC will miss the playoffs because Mahomes didn't make enough plays to get them there, no matter what the narrative becomes that's the truth.

Every team that makes the postseason is good. The Ravens run game is a bad matchup for us. Jacksonville has a very good run game and a good defense too. Texans have an elite defense and bad offense. Broncos have an elite defense and slightly better offense.  Pats already beat us and have a well balanced team. Even the Chargers have Herbert who can put together a great game.

I don't think you can really get scared about single possible matchups like that. If we play them again at least we'll have an idea of what they will throw at us and hopefully we'll adjust somewhat.

Chris collinsworth mentioned all these AFC teams but refuses to mention the bills lol

Nah I think that was out of respect… like it was expected that we’d be in the playoffs.  He was saying how crazy it was that teams you’d never expect to be playoff teams are at the top of the AFC. That was my take at least.

He’s not in the same universe as Brady.  That can be stated as fact
