How do we feel about Higgins playing most of the game concussed?

Insane coming off a concussion he re entered the game twice.  I have zero faith in the concussion protocol after this game they must just tank their baseline tests or something

Made me sick to see him play w an obvious concussion.  NFL needs to sort that out w the Bengals.  I am sure he belonged off the field.  Not a homer comment, a person comment.

millions of dollars are on the line not just for them, but their families. Bengals should’ve took him out and protected the player from himself. Period.

You would hope the Bengals medical staff would want to protect their star player, especially after the second hit. 

 

We want everyone to show toughness but brain injuries are no joke and are whole different ball game.

I get that.

But if a player is mentally compromised, it is not fair to expect him to make rational decisions about his health.

I mean, he obviously hit his head twice, and one time, clearly showed he had issues, yet he did the protocols, and he played well till the end. His one hand TD catch, you can't do that with your brains scrambled. He had adjusted smartly to the ball too. IMO he was fine. But yeah, if not for that play, I too would think it's suspect.

Today might have caused some permanent damage for Higgins. Absolutely reckless by the Bengals not to pull him but no excuse from the useless NFL who should have made that decision for them.

The independent evaluators should have pulled him.

His team doctor should have pulled him.

My point was he then had the option not go back in.

I’m okay with it, the league has gone over the top with concussion concerns. His body, his choice.

Guys used to play through concussions all the time, in all sports. And make plays. I don't think a one handed catch proves anything.

I love how they came on after the half saying "unknown issue" or something like that. Would not say concussion or head or anything.

so we can all agree that   by the eye rest Mr Higgins had to have been concussed. It looked bad from my View.

 

And knowing he has that history how could they clear him?  So the player can convince  and somehow lie his way out of being benched

 

OR someone tell me how Dr's could mis diagnose something like this.  Unless he really was Not concussed.
