I have never understood the strategy of playing zone, with CB’s giving 10 yards of cushion, then watching the opposing offense running simple comeback routes just short of your cushion…. over and over and over… and not changing.

What's frustrating is our defense played good and had some nice plays just for us to gift them free first downs on 3rd and lonh

Teams should just kneel on 1st and 2nd down on every drive against the Bills. 
 

3rd down is money vs this defence every single year.

I had a gut feeling that this was going to happen on this drive.  Stopping on 3rd down was the issue.  Soft coverage is the culprit.  The Bills D is hampered by the mindset of McD.  Got to be aggressive.  Make them earn it!
