Beans cut Ingram to get us a special WR talent for Christmas. Looks like a few of you ruined Christmas for saying mean things.

Mother of pearl!  I'm immersed in my cesspool of sin! 🙁

Or maybe no one else wanted him.  How many teams in week 13 want/need to add an over the hill, hasn't been good in 5 years DB?  I'm thinking most teams would have ZERO interest/need for a guy like this.

"Maybe" that's a lot of speculation. Slay started for the Eagles D last year when they won a Superbowl, so not the worst player out there. Look, this is a mess for the Bills. All the reports out there ahead of this were Slay wanted to go to the Eagles, who were very interested in reuniting with him. (There were Eagles outlets reporting it 2 days ago) Clearly the latter is true the Eagles put in for him, & it certainly looks like that's where Slay wanted to go since the urge to retire didn't come upon him until after he found out the Bills not Philly had claimed him. There were more than signs, it was common knowledge being reported in the press. Despite that Mr. Beane put in a claim. & Now here we are. So Mr. beane bears responsibility, not McD. It's getting harder to give him the benefit of the doubt after he yelled at Jeremy White on the radio that WR1 was not a need (not aged well) and haggled over which #1 pick to give up for Waddle so didn't get him. Mr. Beane should stop getting a pass.

Once Steelers cut him it's not tampering he could've called the agent. He also could've called Pittsburgh. Only 2 teams put in for Slay, Eagles & Bills. Clearly the other teams got the memo & the Eagles knew he wanted to go there. Makes Beane the dumb kid here.

He wasn't cut he was placed on waivers.  Clearing waivers he would have been cut

Slay is finished and Beane just wanted some low cost insurance. Take your championship ring and beg the team that dumped you to take you back. We don’t need washed DBs that don’t realize it’s a privilege to play for a team that can win it all every year.

Solid special teams guy gone and also down a CB for Cincinnati.  Nice job of GM’ing Beane.

We’re the most skilled franchise ever at signing guys who don’t want to play. Would have loved to see halftime retirement part 2.

Looking like a total botch job.

Wonder if Beane is feeling the heat in his seat and making these dumb moves out of desperation.

Beane's predication for these old, washed up players who have one toe in retirement is ridiculous.

Good trade partner lol

If they let a washed up retiring cornerback get between them and a possible trade in the offseason that's on them

This is the NFL it's a privilege not a right ... And the bills are out of there corner in the same spot now because of that claim

No that's why you put them on the reserved list and you let him retire into the sunset... The NFL we don't owe them nothing

we have the rights to Darius slay.. this is the NFL not a charity

Great, and when Drew Rosenhaus steers future free agent clients away from Buffalo, at least we'll have our memories of keeping Darius Slay on the non-report list during the year we lost in the Wild Card round.

Why is everyone acting like Ingram was some all pro player all of a sudden?

He was a fringe player, has been inactive the past few weeks (healthy scratch).

And we tried to get an upgrade on waiver wire.  It didnt work, so we add Dane Jackson or another fringe player to the 53...what's the big deal?

Drew Rosenhouse wouldn't have many clients if he told them to not sign with a team that has more wins than 90% of the NFL the last 7 years lol

And treats them all well and is considered by everybody a world class organization rn... He would be losing incoming rookies and veterans like a bad bet

You're right. I stand corrected. What I looked up applied during the legal tampering period not applicable here. Thank you.
