Its a Shanny system curse.

Obviously KOC liked JJ, and Shanny liked Trey Lance.

They can wring a lot of production out of physically limited, smart QBs. And then those QBs limitations demonstrate themselves, so they go hunting for the physically talented player to mold, and it can end up disastrous.

Brock Purdy bailed out Kyle, but no one is bailing out KOC if McCarthy flames out.

Kinda sucks for them honestly. Tough position.

Would love to see KOC fired and come in as Josh's OC, but that aint happening so quickly.

Since we are talking about other teams players post game...this was Browns DT Shelby Harris today on Jauan Jennings.

Based solely on these 18 seconds...I want him here.

Haha, I just posted this in another thread. This is hilarious. Would love to know what was being said.

JJ McCarthy has shown absolutely nothing. I know it's pretty much his rookie year but the ones who have it at least show glimpses. I don't think he does.

I’ve been really surprised at how bad he’s been. I wasn’t super high on him coming out, but thought he landed in the absolute perfect spot. If you can’t make it with KOC, probably not gonna make it

Does anyone realize how how his salary is and that we are tight on the cap? This isn’t madden

I am generally pretty risk-averse but prime JJ is absolutely worth having to have a reset year or two

That's one thing I was thinking today. I'm so tired of the network commentators. I really wish we could hear what Josh and Cam Heyward were saying back and forth.

Minnesota is doing to Justin Jefferson what we are doing to Josh Allen. Wasting their prime years. Minnesota doesn’t want to give Jefferson a real QB and Buffalo doesn’t want to give Allen a really WR. These GMs should be fired immediately!

they drafted a qb with their first.

getting a wr tends to be easier than the qb

Yeeahhh the contract really kicks in next year. Talk about kicking the can down the road.

Between the option bonus and signing prorated, they’re already at 39 mil on the cap next season. You could probably rework some of the base salary and get this number down to around 20 million if you wanted to continue to borrow from Peter to pay Paul.

They may be able to do that on an Amazon TNF stream, but not sure they can get away with it on CBS

But if Sunday Ticket had a "Field Audio" option, then I'd probably buy it.

Absolutely. That's a money making idea the NFL would never do. I think quite a few fans would shell out money for that feature, but it wouldn't look good for the league with how some speak.

I knew I should have bought CITI stock in the crash at .50 cents/share! I swear! I knew it! I said it out loud.

But here I am.  🤷‍♂️

The Bills can maneuver to be 40-50 million under the cap easily, and it wouldn't set them back much.

Still, highly doubtful that the Vikings let Jefferson go.

McCarthy didn’t play today.

Dang, what would it take to land him?  Our draft picks our so late they're seriously devalued.

I would absolutely give up the next three first-rounders, though.

And you’d be one freak injury from ****ing yourself for YEARS.

I know. But McCarthy is the QB for the foreseeable future which does not bode well for Jefferson if he doesn't improve which it seems like would take a lot

I don't disagree but the Bills have a much better chance of not having a freak injury occur than getting better value than JJ out of three bottom-of-the-round picks imo

I love multiple posters bagging on JJ when he didn’t play. At least look at the box score before commenting.
